"I would welcome you to the forests formally, but it wouldsewm that I have been superceded." Tallah stepped up to Bailey, giving a respectful nod. "I am Tallah, Voice of Tree and Sky. I do not believe that I have had the pleasure of your of making your aquaintance." He addressed the entire party through Bailey. His resonant voice was echoing beautifully.

Garren stood behind Tallah again. "I'm Garren. The people around here call me the Waymaker." Garren gave an inviting smile; his eyes shifted to aquamarine.

Upon hearing the growl, the giantess's arm became a barricade in front of the crocodile's body. "Later," she ordered, eyes glued onto the group. After watching their mannerisms and listening to their speech, the female wasn't sure of how to approach this. Madame High Prophet.. Based on the clothes of the half-elf, that title wasn't just an empty phrase. It wasn't as if Niklaus was fond of elves anyway, but she didn't want restrictions on her map. Any issues for Magnus would become an issue for her, so accidently pouncing someone who happened to be connected to a hierarchy would come with major consequences. Her hand rose to touch her partner's face, although he was becoming aggressively furious, and her gaze shifted to him. "We need to get you patched up first. If they're acquaintances of the healer and we manage to hurt one of them, he may not aid us."

Snow: She bit her lip, glad for the Giantess. At least she seemed to be unafraid of the giant crocodile she rode. Snow was in terror of the thought that this beast of animal and metal would go charging with her on its back. She could survive a lot... but most likely not that. Her gaze opened to look at Niklaus and reached out her hand to touch the arm the giantess threw in front of the crocodile. She spoke into her mind, her blood calling to hers. I know you don't like me, but I only require water... at least let me survive till then. Snow knew the frost giantess would probably be even more offended by her but what was she to do? Snow's mind was on one thing and one thing alone. Survival.

@SnugglyKnight

Magnus felt the cool hand on his muzzle and he listened to what the ice female said. She was right, if he attacked now then they would be done for. Or at least he would be. He forced himself to calm down, his breathing returning to normal and his tail stilling. He nodded, saying nothing, and wrapped his tail around her ankle loosely before moving it to its original spot. Now to get this other female off his back, literally. He didnt care for formalities, his broad shouldered body was able to move itself over to Tallah, towering over the smaller being. "You. You take care of people right?" He growled his question, ignoring his instinct to attack Mac. "Take this one" He moved his body slightly to the side to show Tallah the frail body clinging to his back. @Delacare

@ everyone

Before tearing her arm away from the blonde, Niklaus looked at her in bewilderment, although the glance wasn't as noticeable as she imagined it to be. She nodded to appease the girl, for it was the least she could do. Her attention was recalled to the crocodile, and she willingly gave it to him, glad that he had naturally composed himself due to her intervention. It was just a day ago that she had first realized she could calm the reptile with a kiss, and seeing that general affection wasn't even required now displayed the progress their supposed relationship had. As the tail swept near her ankles, she couldn't resist a small grin. Whether she had turned a beast into a pug, he had turned her likewise, or both, she was pleased with the outcome; either way, it proved that the blonde's entrance had not torn any ties between the two. Her mind was consumed by the idea, however, so she failed to stop Magnus from waltzing to the people they'd been stalking. The group was still introducing themselves to one another, but they all managed to have acquaintances within the gathering. Personally, she had only seen the faces from battlefields, and even so, she wasn't enough of a people-person to join the meeting. Niklaus emerged from the scenery, her strides leading her behind her partner. Chary of any possible reactions, she watched the beings scrupulously, even though she probably appeared to be untrustworthy with the grand entrance the crocodile made. "Please," she added, finishing Magnus's sentence, "Please heal her."

Tallah gave Magnus and Niklaus a blank look as they made their presence known to everyone. Seeing the frail and pale girl clinging weakly to Magnus's back, his eyes softened slightly. Casting a glance over his shoulder, at the cottage door, Tallah strode around Magnus to get a better look at his passenger. Casting a diagnostic spell, he noticed several interesting truths about the girl, but the most important ones were that she was severely malnourished and dehydrated. Reaching towards the girl, he gingerly lifted her fingers from their grip, and levitated her body effortlessly. "You will be telling me exactly how you came across this... child, Beast." Tallah's voice brooked no argument as the cottage door opened, and a med kit floated out.

Tallah led the girl's floating body to the pool and drew threads of water from it. Pulling two cups from the med kit, he filled one with water, and left it hanging within the girl's reach. From the med kit, he also pulled out two vials. One with liquid that resembled melted amber, and the other looked like bottled clouds. Uncorking and pouring equal parts amber and clouds in the second cup, Tallah handed to the girl directly. "Drink."

"Hey Salamander. Long time no see." Garren gave Magnus a smug smile as one eye shifted to black, while the other shifted to an orange that appeared to flicker with hidden flames.

Wow, at least two minutes here and he wanted to slaughter everyone even more than he already did. He didnt like being told what to do, and Tallah had told him exactly what to do. He hissed lowly, his tail starting its waving slowly. Now maybe he could have just toned it down, after all they shouldnt be there for any longer than this, but good ol' Garren had to pipe up. He growled loudly, his mouth slightly ajar like all predators do when angered and facing an enemy, "Watch your tongue or I'll rip it from your skull!" He snapped.

Although she didn't display them often, her emotions were readily swayed, and so, the gratitude she had held for the healer was overcome by mild disdain. The way they spoke to her partner made her cringe inwardly, for she wasn't sure when to intervene. She was afraid that she might end up saying something she'd regret if it continued. They weren't here to start a war, after all. Her exterior remained the same despite the comments about Magnus, unfazed and dull, yet she was positive that the chill around her had grown unbearably cold. Her mind wasn't occupied by the blonde girl's injuries but rather on reptile's eyesight, so she just had to remain neutral with them until he was healed. Trying to keep the peace, her gloved hand snaked its way to the crocodile's shoulder as an attempt to help him compose his emotions just like she had.

When Garren's apparent heterochromatic eyes exposed themselves, however, her grip on Magnus seemed to tighten. She wasn't sure on whether or not that was a display of dominance, but she didn't care to find out either. "I apologize for his reaction, but I believe you'd find it in your best interest to not irritate him," she stated in a slightly monotone voice. The air around her was displaced as she spoke, becoming condensed majorly due to the cold. Niklaus continued, although directly responding to Tallah’s demand, “Damaged and frail, randomly in the forest. How else would we become acquainted with someone?" The last bit was meant to be somewhat of a joke, but it held major truth within it. She had met every being around her from fights, whether it be with them or some random creature.

Magnus's tail was like an angry snake, though when it got close to Niklaus it wrapped itself around her ankle yet again, but this time he didnt know it. He still growled at Garren, still standing his tallest though said nothing as Niklaus talked. He hated it here so much, and he was sure it got colder all of a sudden. He took but a second to realize it as coming from the ice female. Was she irritated as well?

"Ouch! Damnit Lah!" Garren jerked forward suddenly, his eyes swimming in a dazed mustard green. A half second prior, there had been a loud smack. He rubbed the back of his head and glared at Tallah with cherry red eyes.

"Enough taunting Garren. Now is not the time for your usual games." Tallah piercing gaze made Garren flinch slightly, anticipating another invisible blow that never came. "You two will cease and desist this foolish behavior at once. Silence yourself crocodile, and control your temper and temperature, frost giant. I do not enjoy ending conflict by reveling in my own power, but no not think that I will hesitate to discipline any sufficiently unruly activity." Tallah spoke to Magnus and Niklaus calmly, but the echoes in his voice seemed to magnify as he spoke. The weight of his presence darkened the air slightly, though the sky was cloudless.

"L-lah, there's no need to get al worked up. We're just having a bit of fun. Ain't that right? Croc? Frosty?" Garren, now suitably cowed, spoke hurriedly. He was trying to stop this situation before Tallah really got it started. I should remember how Tallah gets when people show out while he's helping patients. Garren shuddered noticeably at such a memory.

Mac looked over at Tallah to see probably the one thing he feared the most. That crocodile thing was growling at Tallah. He quickly hurried over, and stood next to his elf. He wasn't gonna have another one of his loved ones hurt by this... this beast

"Make a move toward the elf, Scales, and I'll fucking end you." He looked over at the frost giant, and backed away a bit. "Miss, I don't want to accidentally hurt you again.. If a fight breaks out.. well, you probably know what to do.. I'm sorry that I hurt you.."

Nothing really helped the croc's temper, he had patience but not a lot of it. He didnt like how he was spoken to, and the fact that Tallah had threatened to use any power to contain him. He was pissy because he wasnt being feared, nobody was cowering in his presence.

Oh but the interference from Mac was the icing on the cake. "I wont make any move toward the elf, but you I'll be happy to attack" He snapped, his tail now whipping back and fourth. His breathing deepened and his growling got loud again. But what was worrying was the red creeping through the white of his eyes. Forget waiting! He was going to destroy this pitiful creature right now! His clawed hand balled into a fist and with a strike he put almost all his force into he smashed his fist into Mac's jaw in a right cross. Magnus had a lot of force, and if he had used all of it he probably would have broken Mac's jaw. Good thing he didnt hit as hard as he could have.

Snow: She took the cup from the kinder man and her slender bony fingers shakily wrapped around it as she took a sip. Her easily breakable thin neck showed her trachea slide as she swallowed the liquid, attempting not to cough it up. Her stomach had constricted so much the sudden fullness alarmed it. Her entire body flinched as the Crocodile hit the other stranger and her throat finally made a sound. A whimper. Her eyes opened, rose colored, and she stared at the man (Lah she had thought he had been called.) in a plea to stop this fighting. If all these powers were to fight how would she ever survive in this state? And that was all she really cared about... surviving.

Niklaus glanced down at her ankles, watching as the tail of the reptile swept over the limb. She felt reassured by the affection, although quickly swayed by the noise of a smack. So, even the healer had a bit of fire in him? That would be.. problematic for her partner, especially. Really, she had just hoped to recover Magnus's eyesight, but she failed to take his anger into account. The giantess had thought about it, hoping that they wouldn't run into the fire-being or that the crocodile could compose himself for the time being. It was idiotic for her to assume or wish for either, and she surely knew that now. Tallah's words made her freeze, of course; she could tell they weren't on his good side at the moment. As Garren displayed his hesitation in crossing the mage, her mouth became dry. Perhaps this healer, despite his height, was someone to be feared. She nodded hurriedly at the portal-user's question, not wanting to see his wrath anytime soon.

When Mac ran to protect the elf, her head tilted in confusion. His facial features were vaguely familiar -- not in this form, however. Trying to comprehend the situation, her blue eyes locked onto his figure, squinting as she tried to dig out the information from her brain. He spoke to her particularly, but his words allowed her to recognize him. Although she heavily disliked the way they spoke to the crocodile, the apology shocked her very core. It was almost as if she had never heard the word from another person, and to the most part, that was oddly correct. "Sorry? You.. Don't worry about it," she replied, obviously somewhat distraught, "It was just a scratch."

Magnus's reaction wasn't expected, to say the least. Eyes widened, the giantess watched as pure chaos was let loose. A scaled fist flew into the jaw of the fire-being, which she thought would be saved until later. Obviously, she guessed incorrectly, but she managed to be right about something: the scene was very, very problematic. One thing she knew for certain, her partner's eyesight probably wouldn't be regained or at least, not with the help of the healer.

Mac sprawled back a few feet, his jaw not broken, but it hurt like a bitch. He shakily picked himself up from the ground, before drawing his knife. His forehead was cut and bleeding, as well as his lip.

"C'mon.. You call that a hit...?" He said, clearly punch drunk.

Miley and Bailey were just kinda watching this happen. For one, Bailey felt she really didn't have. A place in stepping in. And two...Miley though Mac getting decked by a giant crochet was hilarious and was struggling to breathe due to having to contain her laughter. But, once Mac was back in his feet, both of the women sighed. "Mac!" Miley called, "I wouldn't antagonize him anymore." @Safety Hammer @SnugglyKnight @Delacare @Valefar

"I think I'll just flee in terror for a bit. Sayonara...idiots." Garren was gone in an agitated swirl of portal energy. He promptly reappeared kneeling in the grass beside Tallah breathing heavily. "Damnit Lah. That barrier hurt." He sighed but didn't move.

"Do not think that I would let you go, when this is partially your fault." Tallah up from where he had been sitting beside the pale girl. The two vials he had been holding shattered as the glass and their contents formed a spherical spell matrix around the girl. Imbuing the matrix with a healing spell, Tallah walked slowly towards Magnus and the punch drunk Mac. "I do believe I warned you all that unruly behavior would be considered a punishable act. Since you have completely disregarded my warning, and harmed my Mac, I will have to punish you." The air in the grove became increasingly more oppressive as Tallah approached.

"I would expect a god to have more control." Tallah's eyes flashed dangerously as he focused on Magnus; there was actual displeasure in his voice. "Perhaps I always expect too much." The air in front of Tallah warped as he gathered mental force and launched a fist sized attack that hit Magnus with a force equal to twice the force of his own punch on Mac.

@SnugglyKnight

Magnus was going to attack Mac again, he almost didnt hear Tallah. Words were nothing to him, so he disregarded everything Tallah just said. Plus, he was going rage. Not fully yet there though, the punch from the attack hurt like a bitch. His jaw displaced, now slanted a bit to the side. He was thrown back, hitting the ground hard. He took a second to realize what just happened, and once he realized he got hit by some small creature, he got so much more pissed. He snapped his jaw back in place with a snarl of pain, before he roared at Tallah. His eyes nearing complete redness, he lowered himself into a fighting pose on all fours, slobbering profusely. He leaped at Tallah, his claws ready to slice. @Delacare

"Now, you are beyond verbal reasoning. No worries, for I shall calm you quickly enough." Tallah stomped a foot causing a pillar of stone to rupture benath Magnus, and lauched him high into the air, mid leap.

"T'Chala Raiss." Magnus's prone form was launched even higher by a concentrated peal of thunder from Tallah's outstretched hand.

"T'Chala Raiden." Out of a cloudless sky, black lightning raced from six directions and converged on Magnus in an dark but still too bright explosion.

"Avanora Dahcanagh." Chains of dark emerald, energy slidified around his body dragging the crocodile roughly to the earth again. He smashed into the ground hard enough to make an impact crater 3ft deep, 8ft wide. The green chains were etched with runes of resistance and restriction. They would glow briefly and tighten their grip if he struggled.

"Have you returned to your senses, or shall I continue with my ministrations?" Tallah walked to the edge of the crater, his golden eyes focused on the restrained crocodile as violet sparks played over fingertips. There was an emptiness in his voice, though his eyes were as caring as ever. "I do not enjoy this in the slightest, but I will not allow you to cause harm here. This is a place of healing, and you will respect that."

(Fine with me, Magnus can handle a lot. Especially in his rage)

Magnus felt the pain beat him over and over again, until he hit the ground with enough force to make him sit still. Though, once he was back to his senses, he got his hands and feet under him and heaved upwards, trying to break the chains. He roared, even though he could feel his ribs grinding together painfully, as some or most were broken by impact. @Delacare

"T'Chala Raiss." A peal of thunder from the sky slammed a struggling Magnus back into the earth, worsening the crater. "T'Chala Raiss." Another peal, that cracked several of Magnus's scales and bent his armor in slightly. "T'Chala Raiss." The final peal chipped several armor pieces as small patches of scales crumbled into dust. Tallah winced noticeably as his spells continued to damage Magnus.

Turning away from Magnus, Tallah took a moment to go check up on Mac, who was still out on his feet. "Why do you insist on antagonizing every male that so much as looks in my direction is beyond me. Now, stay here, sit, and heal." A quick pass of Tallah's hand halted the bleeding and left the rest to heal at slower, but still accelerated, pace.

"Resistance is futile. Succumb to as much rage as you can muster, but without reason you cannot hope to best me, god or no." Drawing his left hand into a fist, he tightened the crocodiles bonds. Then, opening is left hand and stretching his fingers fully, Tallah bid the chains to stretch Magnus out spread-eagle.

Magnus roared, full rage now. He felt the pain, hitting him over and over again. He felt the stretching and he resisted as much as he could. Finally, after hiding in the house for so long, Szaktal came up behind Tallah. "I will chase.... It away and.... You will not have.... To make red petals.... Fall" He offered.

"That is no longer an option Szaktal. If he leaves this place, there will be fields of blood left in his wake. Unfortunately, none of the calming spells I know will work, thus exhaustion is my only course, and I do not practice curses, so I must resort to violence." Tallah did even glance in Szaktal's direction as he continued to rain thunder down upon Magnus at a steady pace. Each peal was stronger than the last until the earth was shaking with their force.

"Tallah, please! Stop this!" Mac pleaded loudly over the sound of the thunder and the raging winds. He had never seen the elf like this. Tallah was usually much more passive. "He's a patient! YOUR patient! You know, the Hippocratic Oath?! Don't kill him!" As much as he hated the crocodile god, he didn't want to see him dead. For as much of a monster that he was, he was still a person, and this slowly became apparent when he saw that he had brought a child to Tallah so that he could care for it. Beneath his scales and terrifying appearance, he had a heart.

Magnus could only take so much. His upgraded pain tolerance in his raged form didnt cover this. The red in his eyes faded until only white was left, in which Magnus went limp. Now without his rage, his body was so much weaker. All the attacks he had endured was extremely painful beyond anything he had felt before. He couldnt stay awake, and before his heart gave out, he wondered if he'd ever wake back up to tell Niklaus he was sorry. @Valefar (mentioned)

There was far too much at the moment, especially this talk about gods..  That wasn't important at the moment, or not in her mind. As soon as Magnus was safe, she could question it all she wanted. Was Magnus a god? Was anyone else similar? She knew for certain that she couldn't be, especially since she was cursed -- at least, according to herself and her village. It wasn't important, at least not now. When her partner was safe, she'd question the idea once again. A being known as Szaktal had also arrived at the scene, and although the creature was very, very different than she had seen, she let it slide for the moment.

Niklaus's head tilted to the side, as she couldn't stand to see Magnus like this. The inside of her mouth was torn to shreds because she was trying not to create any more conflict for the crocodile. When the ruthless torment continued, her gaze was redirected onto the mage, her eyes almost calling him out themselves. She wasn't sure how to handle him, not since she might get the same treatment, and although she was afraid of the punishment, she really just didn't want to be a burden to Magnus. Whether the mage healed him or not, she wouldn't trust anyone else to watch over him. A single tear flowed down her face, one for the crocodile -- crocodile tears, if you must. She wasn't aware of it until it fell from her skin, and after, she heard the formation of ice behind her, which happened to sound like the crackling of a bag. The shrubbery was coated in frost, and the ground to her back had the appearance of a frozen tundra, for the moisture absorbed in the soil was completely frozen. Unfortunately, it forced the soil to expand, and as each bit of thunder tore down from the sky, the stress became too much for the earth, causing the rocks to crack in an explosive manner. The ground surface shook for a solid few seconds, ear-deafening booms following; there wasn't enough intent or cold to make it last any longer.

Twisting to get a glimpse at the damages, she noticed a single rift in the ground. The trees close enough had sunken into the crack, although, one could easily manage to jump across the gap. When she turned back around, she managed a blank expression, pretending as though she meant to cause the cryoseism. Certainly, she didn't know how the mage would react, but considering how the others around her were begging him to halt as well, she figured she'd be able to see her partner healed soon enough. "Stop," she ordered, albeit comprehending the fact that she had absolutely no authority at the moment, "unless you'd be fine living near the depths of Helheim." A slight tinge of regret was felt after she had realized that she said this, but it was no matter. "If this truly is a place of healing, I assume you're going to nurse Magnus as well."
