Adam took her number and carefully stuck it in his wallet, keeping it with a bunch of other papers. "I'll be sure to do that. Have a great day." He then wheeled off to go and find the person dealing with herptile food. It took him a few minutes but the man was a big help. He had gotten everything Adam needed in minutes and had even found a coupon for him on the cage. Thanking him Adam went to check out and soon left, stopping by a burger joint to get something on the run as he wasn't in the mood to cook and then to the hardware store for the last of what he needed.

"You to Adam." Summer says as she heads up to the front with the girls. Heading back to the house. She gets Ruby and Jade out. They run up to the house as fast as their little feet can carry them. Summer laughing at the girls. Opens the door and they run in. Getting out the toys and letting them play with them. She gets their food down. And starts to get dinner ready for her self. She hums to her self as she cooks. Nice that Adam had asked her and the girls over. She hoped that it would go good tomorrow. He seemed like a really nice guy and she would like to get to know him more. As her food gets done cooking she sets down to eat. Another night alone for her. But that is ok she had Ruby and Jade. As she ate she put Adam's number in her phone just to make sure she didn't lose it.

Adam was in project mod and with that he was severely tunnel visioned. All he could think about was the project and with him having a new house, which he had been living in for only two weeks now, would make this place feel like home. He had inhaled his food like always and while h finished chewing his last bite began putting silicone all over the back wall. It took him a good hour to feel happy with his work, and it was all he could do for now. He carried the cage outside and set it so that the last rays of sunlight would hit it. It was only then he remembered that Summer had given him her number. He smiled and chuckled a little. If his old friends were here they would have joked about that he moved rather fast to get a girl's number. They were appropriate at times but he still loved them and even missed them a little. Especially his best Friend Ben, those two were always geeking about, talking about comic books, playing card games. Then he thought about someone else. The one that had caused his so much strain. As he thought about it he could feel that pull to her weaken. His plan was working at least. Maybe if he was lucky he wouldn't fall for someone else, but that was unlikely and who would truly want that anyways? He plugged in her number and saved it. Then he sent her a text. "Hey this is Adam. Just letting you know I saved your number."

After eating and cleaning up. Summer is playing with Ruby and Jade. Laying on the floor with them as she gets them to run and bark. Summer is laughing as she watches them run on their short fat legs. They are crawling on her and licking her face. She loved her girls, they had made it feel like a home here. Even though she didn't have a lot of friends here. After the years she has been here. She is a home body at times. But everyone always seemed to be busy with something else. But she didn't mind she had her girls and right now that is all that mattered. She smiled at the thought that Adam had asked her over. Even though she was a little nervous about all the frogs. She knew things would go good. Hearing her phone go off, getting off the floor with the girls. She picks up her phone, a big smile spreads across her face. She text's back to him, "Hey there Adam. I am glad you did. I knew it was though, I saved yours as soon as I got home. I hope that is ok?" She sends it and goes back to watching the girls play.

"If I hadn't had my head up my ass I would have texted you a while back. Glad you did though. Makes things easier on all of us." Said Adam. He pocketed his phone as he walked about hte house and began checking on everyone properly. His axolotl tank need a water change that was for sure. But everything else else was fine, especially since everything was a vivarium at this point.

"I don't see you as a person to have their head up their ass. Just busy or something. I am glad you did text me and yes it does make it easier for us." Summer says as she laughs to her self. She couldn't picture Adam being that way. Just a really busy man with the things that he was getting today at the store. And the way it sounded he has animals to take care of. Which she could understand that. Ruby and Jade were laying on Summer as she petted them watching tv with her. "How is the tank coming along?" Summer asked.

"Great actually. Looks like this." Said Adam as he sent her the message followed by a photo of a cage that had silicone on the back and on the bottom. The next step is tomorrow. If you like I can wait till you arrive to show it to you. It could be a fun project to teach your students when, if you cover ecosystems. You'll see a completed one when you arrive here tomorrow. I have a huge one the water dragon is in."

"That looks really great Adam. They would love doing something like that. We will be going over that soon. I would like that very much Adam. You are a great help to me I must say." Summer says "A water dragon? Now that sounds cool to be honest. I can't wait to see it tomorrow. It will help to let them see. How all the going ons happen. Now I will have to get everything. But I have time to do it."

Adam laughed and quickly texted back."Yeah he is pretty neat. Still tiny though. He is a bit of an ass, but not mean. Just stubborn really. Well I should probably get ready ready for bed. I'll see you tomorrow then. Have a great night." He set his phone in the naked kitchen and plugged it in. He needed it charged after using it all day to search the web for this and that. It was a good half hour when he returned, freshly showered and trimmed his beard. He dug for a pan and put it on the stove and began bringing it to temp as he found the mushrooms and potatoes he had bought and cubed them along with some bacon and added everything into the cast iron pan.

"Funny an animal being an ass. See you tomorrow Adam." Summer gets up Ruby and Jade following her. As she jumps into the shower. Cleaning up and the girls watch her. Getting ready for bed. She leans down the girls and lifts them up. They curl into the covers. Flipping on the tv. Watching the news. She calls her family saying night to them. And touching bases with them. She hangs up when she finds out all is ok. Watching the news she starts to doze off. Having a little smile on her face. As the girls cuddle to her. She couldn't wait for tomorrow. And learning more about Adam and his animals.

After spending the day cleaning up the few tanks that need it, which was just the bearded dragon, Gallifrey and the Axolotl tank Adam made sure the house was cleaned up. Having lived there for only two weeks there wasn't much of a mess and was still missing that home feeling. It would change soon he knew. When he was satisfied that all was done he sat down at his computer and began watching Netflix as he surfed on other sites, gathering materials he would need to finish the cage. That is when the idea came to him. He would have to check with Summer but maybe he could do mock ups on how to build a vivarium. All he would have to get was several old picture frames to show the step by step process. It would be cheap and then he could finish up the one he was building now with them if it was in the next few weeks.

Summer got home from shopping being out with her friend for a little while. Getting back home, she played with the girls and got a little bag packed. Of all the toys that they liked best. Anything else that they might need over at Adam's. Putting the bag into her truck. She let the girls play in the yard. They loved being outside when they could play. Hearing them bark at each other as they ran around the yard. She shook her head. They were going to wear them selfs out. That might be a good thing they would sleep at Adam's. Calling them to her she bends down and picks them up. As she gets in the truck. Starting to making her way over to Adam's.

Adam looked up at the clock on the computer and nodded. Summer should, he imagined be on her way. Not being a real dog person he wasn't sure if he should do anything for them. Being unsure he decided to not do anything just yet and see how they behaved. He rubbed his eyes and walked to his backyard, were his tank was currently at and looked inside is. The silicone was looking nice and had finished drying. He gathered up the pieces of wood he wanted along with some paper pots and a few rocks and tested them to make sure he liked the layout of what he had in mind. Happy with it he left them there and gathered his spray foam in order and was just waiting on Summer to show up. He figured they could do this first. After all this part was literally seconds long and then it would have a several day wait time, which he usually got impatient and just did it the next day.

Finding her way to Adam's. The girls in the set next to her. The girls up on the arms rest looking out. She gets a little lost but she finally finds her way to Adam's house. Pulling in and parking she smiles. He had a really nice home. She got out her truck, calling the girls to her. Getting the bag out of the back. As she puts it over her arm. She picks up the girls. "Well girls here we go." Summer says. The girls lick her face. She laughs as they do. "Now you have to be on your best here. This is not home Adam lives here." She pets Jade and Ruby. Walking up to the front door she knocks on the door and waits. Ruby kind of whines. Looking at her, "Ruby hush no need whine." She kisses the top of her head.

Adam opened the door and smiled. "Come on in." He was wearing a pair of shorts that had been cut off and it revealed that both legs were heavily tattooed. On his right leg it was mash up of many different geeky things, ranging from Marvel Comics, To sci-fi tv shows, and even books, this leg belonged to Comic-con. His left leg however looked as though it was made from the earth itself, as if it belonged in the jungle. In fact Adam had played around with it and using a vivarium in the back ground it had almost vanished into it. In addition to wearing shorts he was barefoot, like he often was when he could. "Please make yourself comfortable. You are welcome to hand your bag on the back of the door. It currently has the best hook. It sort of belonged to a cat gym that my cat was too fat for. So I kept the hook. So how are you?" He carefully closed the door behind, making sure he didn't close it on anything by accident.

Summer smiled as she came with the girls. They were laying on her chest just relaxing. Seeing Adam's tattoo's smiled. "Oh I am doing good Adam thank you. How are you?" Summer asked with a smile. She was in shorts and sandles and tank top. "By the way love the tats Adam. Never would have thought you would tattoo's." She says. Sitting Ruby and Jade down. They sit right by her feet. She hangs the girls bag on the hook. The girls smelling around as they stayed by Her. "You have a nice place here Adam. Thank you again for having us over." She sits down and the girls whine. She picks them up and holds them on her lap as she pets on them.

"Just wait until they aren't that easy to pick up. I forget how heavy they get but it is a hefty dog. Loyal too. ANd thank you. Yeah, I couldn't just pick one expensive and addictive hobby. So let's head out to the back before I show you everyone." He lead them to the back of the house and after passing through a sliding glass door into a medium sized backyard that had a small shed.

"Oh I know they won't be lap dogs then." Summer laughs. As they make their way outside she sets them down and throws their toys. They bark and run after it as they play in the back yard. "The girls like it here." Summer says as she smiles. They start to roll and get each other. "I need to get a fence for them at my house. They wouldn't want to come in. Until they wanted to sleep."

Adam laughed. "Dogs do as they please at times. Alright so." He turned to the cage and pointed at the silicon. "You have to use pure silicon. It can not say mold free. It is toxic to amphibians. Once you allow that to dry you can place the items you want inside the cage in the way you want them. Now you get your foam and shake it." He picked up a can and began shaking it. Once shook well enough began spraying the inside. "You want to get full coverage and go around your objects well. You don't want them fall." He continued spraying and then picked up a second can and did as he did with the first. "Now we wait. This is the part that is the worst. I hate waiting. Ready for the animals? You are welcome to leave your girls out here to play. I can fix them a bowl of water."

Summer smiled,"Yeah they do. But still love them." She watches Adam and listens. "I would love to see them. What would you say is a good frog would be good for a class Adam? I want to get them something. Kind of like a class pet. If you think a frog would be a good choice?" She asked, "Well I hate to wait to. But I learned with kids sometimes you they aren't that fast sometimes." Summer laughs. "That is very kind of you. I brought their bowl with me. So they can use that. I am bad I pack for the girls like they are kids." Summer laughs even more at her self.

"Well frogs are generally active at night and what few frogs are active in the day like to burrow or prefer water..... So I would say fire bellied toads are good. They are either bright green or dull orange. Live well in groups. They have a fire red belly.... yeah and their setup is pretty much half water and half land. Though they are actually frogs, so don't let the name fool you. They do jump but not like tree frogs. They are small so you can catch them with a net. And they eat 2 to 3 times a week. I you can find a cgenill manage the rest for you. Only thing you have to do is a water change every other week and clean up dead crickets. You don't even have to worry about their waist." Said Adam with that same passion he had earlier. "Oh and they bare fairly cheap to buy and live for a long while." As he finished talking he lead them back through the door and opened the door to the basement. This was were he kept all the frogs at, along with the salamanders and lizards. He was currently working on getting a small fridge in there, a broken freezer, and some sort of entertainment system so he could relax with everyone and look at them as he pleased.

Summer smiled as she watched him talk about the fire bellies. Even though she wasn't big on them. The kids would love having something like that. And did seem easy to take care of. "Thank you for your advice on what to get Adam. You are always a great help with things like that." Summer said with a smile. Following Adam down to the basement. Her eyes got a little big. Seeing them for the first time. She kind of stands behind Adam. Being a little nervous. She took a few deep breaths. Looking at them, "Adam you have a nice set up here for your animals." Summer says. Stepping a little out from behind Adam. She could do this it wasn't hard. She knew Adam would go slow with her and his animals. They were in a cage after all. She was safe. As she stood and looked at them more.

With the exception of the bearded dragon everything, including the axolotls looked as if their cages had come straight from nature. As if each was a window into a different jungle, in different places in the world. "Here." Said Adam as he opened the door to the White's tree frogs. "They are sleeping right now, but you can see them up in the corner. See how they tuck themselves in? These guys are some of my favorites actually."

Summer smiles as she looks at the white tree frogs. "I can see why Adam. They are cute when they are sleeping. And another plus they don't jump in their sleep." Summer saying as she laughs some. "How long have you had them Adam?" Summer asks. She is going to have to set everything up for the kids in her class room. Maybe Adam would help her with that. She will know that she will get it right. In a little bit she will ask him to see if he will help. She didn't want be to pushy with him or anything.

"These guys are about 5 years old. They'll live for another 5 or so years. Yeah but as you can see they aren't really white. They got that name after the guy who found them. They are also called dumpy tree frogs as well. They are always hungry, and rarely turn down food." He finished up with them and began showing her the others before pulling Gallifrey out of his cage and handed it to her. "These guys are the friendliest things ever. They like attention and people."
