Elprede sat back quietly while he let the doctors studied the girl's condition. They were severely battered and beaten, but he was sure they would survive regardless. He had seen Saiyans survive things much worse than a bit of a beating from somebody far beyond their power level, and honestly, they came out much stronger than before usually. Era and Valkyrie were definitely not your average Saiyans either, they were much stronger than any other Saiyan in history other than the Super Saiyan, he was sure. And if they weren't now, they would be soon enough.

He only spoke quick words to the doctors, only telling them what they needed to know when asked. They didn't need any other information because it would be severely detrimental to their health and survival if they knew too much. The Darkhoods may or may not come after them if they ever found out that the doctors had any shred of information, assuming they didn't already know. He didn't have the conscience to do that to one of these people, especially not after the bloodbath they shed upon their planet. The near destruction they narrowly avoided.

"I'll transfer pay to you directly, doctors, in a few days of time," he said through gritted teeth, glaring at Pyro. He wasn't going to pay the Frost Demon a dime. "Feel free to rack up the debt."

He left a little bit after that to go and train himself. He'd let the doctors monitor the conditions of the Saiyan women while they were in the rejuvenation pods, however long those things would last of emergency power. He didn't think he knew of any techniques that could give away his own bio-electricity, and even if he did, who knew how harmful it could be to himself. It was not worth the risk in his opinion. He had better uses of his time at the moment as well; getting stronger so he could actually defend against any more threats.

In particular, he tried to use his training time to perfect the Mazunokari. The technique could be the key to equaling themselves out against the Darkhoods for now. He would teach it to Era and Valkyrie straight away as soon as they had recovered enough to be able to handle the physical strain it put on their bodies. Each of them would need all the power they could.

The doctors tending to Era and Valkyrie took time to note how long they could stay in the rejuvenation chamber and how long it would take for them to recover once they were forced to remove them from the chambers. They estimated that with their equipment, the women would spend nearly 30 hours in intensive care before their bodies recovered enough to be taken off life support. After that, they'd probably take just over two months to heal fully.

They didn't have that kind of time because they needed to get off world and away from the Darkhoods. Luckily Pyro and his crew were able to "persuade" one of the locals to sell their ship to them. Really they were strong armed, but Pyro was of the mind that nicer wording made it sound... well... nicer.

They were taken off world in the ship and thankfully it had a hyper drive. However it would still be nearly four days before they reached a planet with any kind of rejuvenation chamber technology, which they discovered in the ship's log of previously visited planets. But it was the best they could do. Anywhere they could go to get away from the Darkhoods would be a sigh of relief among the weary combatants. This temporary truce was nice, but there was no guarantee that this truce would last.

Four days went by very slowly, with Era and Valkyrie both on the ship's life support until they finally reached their destination. It was a rather cleverly hidden world who's intergalactic ID was EN-02A2-M, otherwise named "Nrethen" by the locals. They were a well advanced people. Small green humanoids with large heads and small thin bodies. But their tech was top of the line. Not as advanced as the Nephelem or Darkhoods, but definitely a runner up. With their rejuvenation chambers open and ready, Pyro was able to "convince" them to let Era and Valkyrie use them as well.

The locals didn't take kindly to the intrusion on their world, but were far too weak to do anything about it. The rejuvenation Chambers were not optimized for Saiyans, so it would take another two days before both women were at full strength. In the meantime Pyro and Elprede were free to continue doing as they pleased on the planet and were notified two days later when the women were ready to be released. Upon their exiting the chambers, both of them marveled at their new power levels which were just shy of 1 million. Era was at 920,000 and Valkyrie was at 850,000 respectively.

With both women back in action, it was time to figure out their next move. Era suggested they have a meeting to discuss what to do that night in their new ship.

"So, any ideas? Those Darkhoods don't look like they're going to stop hunting us." She said.

"Indeed. And if what Elprede told us when we got out of the chamber is true, then we have only dealt with the absolute weakest of their army... Not an inspiring thought." Valkyrie added.

"Elprede... Pyro... Any ideas on what to do?" Era asked.

@ChazGhost @Deathrattle BB

After reaching Nrethen and getting the sayains into rejuvenation chambers Pyro began his search for a proper ship for his crew and not some random ship they took from a back water planet. Lucky for him this planet had pretty high grade ships. So during the next two days Pyro was hunting for a new ship, a not easy hunt either. Pyro had a lot things he wanted in his ships, a lot of things. So many things he wanted in fact he had to have heavy modifications on the ship he did find that was the closes to what he wanted. The modifications would take a few days and were not going to be cheap but it was worth it to have a proper ship for a frost demon.

After taking care of that Pyro and his crew explored the world for the rest of the time until the sayains woke up and fully healed. They had their own fun while trying not to do to much damage the people of the world in the process. The mountains around the cities made good target practice for the pirates. Once the meeting started the night the sayans woke up Pyro was sitting down drinking a glasses of wine he got from the locals.

"They will keep hunting you two until your dead, and mostly me and the fox now to after we destroyed thousands of their troops. And they easily have the power to kill you three, maybe even me..." Pyro said seriously placing the wine on a tale near him. "In the end the only way to stop the is to crash through their ranks and kill the leader. Of none of you are even close to doing even that so I say for the time being you three should start training if you ever hope to survive. Hellish training." Pyro added smirking

Elprede spent most of his time training and trying to get stronger. It was an extremely slow process with a proper sparring partner, Era and Valkyrie were far too injured to do anything but sit in rejuvenation chambers for most of the time. Regardless, he paid them occasional visits just to sit and chat for a while or deliver bits of information. Particularly, he told them about the Darkhood hierarchy in general. He doubted Nephelem were allowed very high even if they did manage to acquire a great deal of power, simply because of their natural subjugation when the First God was around at all. They just obeyed, wihout will or reason... He wondered if they had a solution to that problem.

He was bored and tired for most of the days. The Mazunokari took a great deal of stamina from him per use, though He did finally have a breakthrough for it. He managed a times 3 multiplication of his power, but he still couldn't hold it for very long without completely tiring himself out. It was probably a technique better spent to be used in short bursts rather than using it for any lengthy periods. He glossed over the subject with Era and Valkyrie, advising them to not even try using the technique until they both knew they were completely recovered. Maybe Era would improve it rapidly due to being a prodigy or something.

Another, smaller portion of his time was spent gleaning through much of the knowledge he gained from the First God. He could feel the ancient entity almost as a third conscious wihin his mind. It never responded to him directly, but conveyed speech through felings and images. He tried organizing the memories and knowledge of the First God but soon scrapped that idea. Instead, he just allowed each one to process through him naturally. It was easier to recall, not to mention the incorporeal being seemed... Happier that way. How do you know when some old-as-time creature is happy anyways?

He shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. They're far stronger than I would have ever expected them to be, especially considering that their strongest cannot even be sensed..." He mumbled something about 'Divine Ki' but did not speak up about it. "Regardless, we will need to become much more powerful if we ever hope to truly defeat the Darkhoods. When I had last met them, meaning when the first Silver Nephelem was around, they were nothing more than a small nuisance. To think they got this strong is very alarming to say the least. It was curious that they disappeared off the face of Zaero some thousands of years ago, though."

He pointed at Valkyrie and Era. "That reminds me, I need to show you both how to use the Mazunokari. At least until you figure out the secret to the Super Saiyan."

@ChoShadow

@ChazGhost

Era and Valkyrie shared a look and Valkyrie heaved a sigh. Era couldn't help but chuckle in response.

"Well that's lovely, Frost Demon. I'd never have thought to train and continue getting stronger in the face of an overwhelming enemy." She groaned with great sarcasm.

Era couldn't stop chuckling as she turned her head away and covered her mouth.

"At any rate, when we asked what we should do we meant what should we do that doesn't have to do with our power level? Training and getting stronger is the obvious. But where should we go? Who can we communicate with who may know more? If the Darkhoods are chasing and hunting Gods, then surely they don't only focus on the 'First God.' There have to be others who've been targeted as well out there somewhere. People like Elprede who have the potential to become Gods or who are a fragment of one. Perhaps there are even Gods out there who are being targeted directly? If we can find someone like that it may give us more insight into how they work and how best to approach taking them on." She said.

She then crossed her arms.

"But that's a big IF in terms of finding someone like that. I doubt Gods care to interact with mortals very often. Even so, IF we can find someone like that and learn more then we may get a leg up on the Darkhoods." She added.

Era finally stopped chuckling and chimed in.

"I concur. We can't just keep training and hoping that we'll grow strong enough to survive. We have to keep moving and we have to keep learning about the Darkhood's plans and how they operate. Surely there is a way to track where such massive ships have been, right? Perhaps Zaero has something? They have Ki shielding, but that's not the only thing ships leave behind when they travel through space is it? Ion trails? Particles of paint or tiny fragments of the hull broken away by space debris? Those things are the size of small planets after all. I highly doubt they're in perfect condition from all this space travel and they don't look very maneuverable if in the event small meteors and asteroids get in their way while they're scouring the galaxy for their targets. If we can track their movements, we may be able to see where they've stopped and if there are any patterns to their movements which may indicate the location of another target." She suggested.

Valkyrie nodded.

"We should plot a course for Zaero immediately. Does this new ship of yours have a wormhole device Frost Demon?" She asked.

Elprede let out a loud sigh, drumming his fingers against the table andpropping his head with on his hand, his elbow on the table. "I know of a technique that can be used, though its only because it was something the First God used to track the untrackable. However, it uses negative Ki by making leftover remnants of Ki visible in a special form of vision I'm just going to call 'True Sight' for simplicity's sake." He said, frowning. "However, it will require my total focus and the fact that I will require possibly long recovery periods. I can use it better than each of you here, but because I'm not some full immortal God like my ancestor was, it will have an adverse effect on me. You know exactly what I mean, Era," he eyed her.

True Sight, as Elprede dubbed it, was a technique not quite forgotten but it was rarely used these days due to the obscure knowledge of Negative Ki regardless. Through its use, he would be able to track the literal ionized particles of the ships and anybody they belonged to. He was well aware of the fact that each one would have a unique trail of their own; very few beings had the same ones, and they were usually the same person even in those cases. However, because of the nature of Negative Ki and how it is not meant to be used by mortal beings, he would not be able to use it for too long before he did horrible damage to himself. Being part immortal did allow him some measure of extra protection against these effe he, but unless he suddenly became the First God in full, he could only use it for a few minutes at a time before he needed to take a break. This was also all speculation on his end.

He huffed regardless though. "Jasmine will need to take control of the ship's systems if we're going to have me use True Sight to track them down. She will be able to move us accordingly to what I see immediately, which makes it easier on us all than just me telling you where to go." He said. It was quite clear how bored and impatient he was getting. His drumming fingers were starting to create holes in the table from how fast they were tapping. "Just as well, I also have a technique for creating wormholes by myself. Somebody will need to be ready to catch me when it accordingly knocks me unconscious due to the whiplash of opening such a thing right in front of my face. Wormhole technology is not installed on any ship that isn't Nephelem-made because of the sensitive nature of it. A slightly wrong calculation will blow you up or cause every atom in your body to explode. Trust me, I've seen it happen. They don't even have time to scream or realize that they died before they're gone. Unless this thing was made by Nephelem, then... I don't know. I didn't check."

Era glanced to Valkyrie who shrugged her shoulders.

"Well... Not to sound ungrateful for the offer Elprede, but there's technology which can accomplish that safely so you don't have to risk anything. Even the Saiyans have some of it and I used it on a few occasions to track down rather annoying targets who used Ki shielding. There's no need to risk your health for something like this." She said.

Valkyrie looked to Elprede.

"If you're adamant about doing this yourself, don't let us stop you. Still, perhaps there's something we can do beyond tracking their past movements. Tracking down their most likely targets is another option. Surely if they're calling themselves 'God Hunters' then there are legends and myths floating about which we can use to try and track down viable candidates for targets." She suggested.

Era thought about it, looking at the ceiling with one finger on her chin.

"That could work. What kinds of myths and legends do you think are credible enough to warrant a search?" Era asked.

"No idea. Surely if we return to Zaero we can find more information. After all their entire race bows to a God already." She said, glancing to Elprede.

"I'm almost certain they'll know more back at Zaero. That, or we'll find out on the way that the Darkhoods are ahead of us once again and have to fight off stronger Darkhoods." She said somewhat cynically.

@Deathrattle BB @ChazGhost

"You asked for ideas, and I gave you my idea. Some one had to say it." Pyro said annoyed by the Valkyrie. "Moving on, I agree we should start looking for others hunted by the darkhoods or some gods themselves. But then comes the problem, this ship doesn't have a wormhole drive and most likely won't be even able to handle going through one, it's just an old cargo ship. But luckily I've was able fine and buy a ship here that could, and with the funds from the money on my old ship and they equipment my crew got off the dead darkhoods we were able to buy it, with enough left over to add some important mods to it.." Pyro said smirking. Then he got a message on his scouter that the mods to the ship were finished.

"Speak of the devil. My crew is picking up and piloting it to us now. If you follow me I'll show you the ship that'll carry us were every we need to go" Pyro said happily before walking out of the ship. "Dirty monkeys and fox I present to you, the Emperor!" Pyro said  once everyone was out of the ship.

lord chill.jpg

The Emperor floated down and landed in front of the group. "Capable of three times the speed of light, a hidden weapon system to fight enemy ships, a wormhole device taken from another ship and fitted to this one. Then there are plenty of other bells and whistles but that's the big stuff. All you three really need to know is its powerful ship that can take us were ever we need to go" Pyro said smirking as he stood in front of the ship.

@ChoShadow @Deathrattle BB

Era and Valkyrie looked up as Pyro announced the approach of the Emperor, his new ship. They had to admit, it was pretty big. If it really had all the bells and whistles it'd make an interesting home for a while if nothing else. Living in close proximity to a Frost Demon... That wasn't a very happy thought, but they didn't have much choice.

"*Whistles*"

"So long as there's a heating system so my room is at least 70 degrees Fahrenheit, then I'm good." Valkyrie said.

Elprede shrugged tiredly at them. "It was only an offer. I don't know what we have anymore, and I'm far too tired to check right Now." He mumbled. His eyes were half-closed, and he definitely looked the part. His eyes had bags under them as if he hadn't slept in some time. Of course, he hadn't due to training, but it wasn't as if Nephelem needed consistent sleep to function at full capacity. He was more tired by the fact that he hadn't had anything decent to eat in some time in accordance to the amount of training he had been doing.

Though, in other words, it was because of the Mazunokari. But he wouldn't tell them that he was running himself into the ground like that. Every body was stressed enough as it was, they didn't need to worry about him as well.

He closed his eyes, head still propped and decided to let Jasmine do the talking for now. "Er, Elprede has not been keeping up with his health as much as he should of late." She said out loud, a hint of a sigh at the end of it. Elprede wasn't even paying attention anymore, falling asleep on the spot. "It gets quite difficult to deal with him sometimes when he is like this. We all have a lot on our minds currently, I'm sure."

@ChoShadow

@ChazGhost

"Theirs a temperature gauge in each room so you can set it to what ever you like. Now if you'll following me I'll give you the grand... wait the fox is a sleep..." Pyro said with a sigh looking at the now sleeping Elprede. "Just follow me monkeys... talking girl voice thing from the fox just record or take notices on the tour." Pyro said lifting up Elprede and putting him over his shoulder and walked into the ship.

Pyro then started going through showing the ship, first being the gravity chamber. "This is the gravity chamber, you may do your train and such in here when i'm not using it, You use to make the gravity in the chamber up to 100x normal (earth) gravity. Any higher and you'll harm my ship, then I'll harm you. It also has hologram technology so you can fight multiple opponents if needed." Pyro said showing off the chamber. Then when on to show off the mess hall, main deck were the ship is piloted, engine room, lab, and regular training room.

Then finally took them to the living area were there was a huge room for the regular pirates, then a few other private rooms, one taken by Pyro that already decorated to his liking. "Pick which ever room you want to stay in. My crew will start moving the items off the cargo ship to this one." Pyro said opening one of the private room doors. Then he dropped Elprede into the room, not lightly, and left the door open. "So with the tour over, where is it we are going to first?" Pyro asked.

@Deathrattle BB @ChoShadow

Era listened to Pyro as he took them on the tour. Even though she despised him, she could at least pay the respect to the new owner of the vessel to learn about it. Once he was done with the tour, she claimed a room as her own and laid down to rest. Valkyrie, in the meantime, went to the bridge and used what she remembered from talking with the Nephelem back on Zaero to guide the pilots to Zaero's coordinates via the wormhole technology. It was still a few hours to reach their destination, but that was a small price to pay for what gaining sanctuary. Once back on Zaero, they'd likely find what they needed to either track the Darkhood's movements and predict their patterns and avoid them, or they'd at least be able to find a place where the Darkhoods didn't go and try to seek sanctuary there.

With the knowledge they gained from the other Darkhoods, they knew what awaited them in the Darkhood's ranks but it didn't help them survive any. They needed a plan to get the Darkhoods off their path so they could move freely again. But how to do that? How could they make it so the Darkhoods stopped chasing them when they had a God in their midst?

Valkyrie pondered that question as she made her way to her room.

They were after Elprede, and because Era and Valkyrie had the rare red aura, it seemed they were after them too. Especially now that Era and Valkyrie were free of the Genetic Limiter and could grant their race freedom from it as well within the course of many generations to come, they too were targets though they were not Gods.

There had to be a way to get the Darkhoods off their tracks and get them to drop it and leave it alone... But Valkyrie could only think of one method, and it was one she didn't enjoy.

They could fake their deaths when they encountered the next group of Darkhoods. But the problem was that doing so was much easier said than done. If they actually suppressed their energy to zero, there was a very strong chance that they would die if the enemies stuck around to test whether they were dead or not. A single Ki blast from even the weakest of them would be enough to end everything. As well if their energy remained at zero their bodies would begin to shut down, so if their enemies remained on the scene for any length of time they actually would die of energy starvation throughout their bodies.

In short they needed to give the Darkhoods a good reason to leave the instant they "knew" that they were dead, and she had a feeling that was where Pyro came in. If he attacked the planet they were on during the next encounter and caused it to become unstable, the Darkhoods would likely flee the moment the fight was over and their deaths "confirmed." They were strong, but even beings with power in the tens of millions would be killed from the sheer force of an explosion of such magnitude. But if they could fake their deaths successfully and leave the planet before it exploded, then they'd be safe for a while unless they happened to have the worst luck in the universe and encountered them again later.

It was not an attractive option, but it seemed their only option. Once the Darkhoods had crossed them off the list, they'd be free to move about the galaxy again unrestrained and train as long and hard as they wanted without any kind of time crunch to worry about. That way they could ascend to uncharted heights of power and finally stand a chance of survival against the Darkhoods if in the event they were discovered again later which she was sure they would be. If they grew strong enough, it would attract the attention of the Darkhoods without question.

"... Damn it all." Valkyrie muttered.

Again, not pretty. But it was their best bet for survival.

@Deathrattle BB @ChazGhost

Elprede took to mostly loitering around the ship by this point in time. He seemed... Hollow at the moment, as if he was not fully there at any point in time anymore. It was a strange sort of emptiness inside of him now, both physically and mentally. Maybe he was feeling the effects of longing for the full consciousnes of the First God, and considering who he was, that seemed logical. A vessel yearns for what they do not have or for what they need;in this case, he needed the vestiges of the First God. It was an annoyance in every regard of the word at this point, it consistently made him lapse in focus and he nearly did considerable harm to himself when he struck by such in the middle of training. He made a note to not spar with Era anymore just because he came far too close to dying there while she probably expected him to effortlessly dodge.

Everything was becoming more difficult for him over time, like his body was retracting in on itself for within. He wasn't sure what exactly he was supposed to do besides suffer through it, it wasn't like he could just go out and try to find those missing pieces. There were far too many things that he had to do. Secretly, he had Jasmine keep a watchful eye on everybody within the ship, though more importantly on Pyro and his band of pirates. Elprede did not trust them, neither did Jasmine, and he was sure as hell that Era and Valkyrie did not, either. It at least kept him preoccupied besides simply talking to and attempting to coerce with the First God. Attempts usually ended up in failure, receiving no response from the excruciatingly slow consciousness. He complained to Era consistently about it.

"Do you even realize how awful it is for me because of how slow it is? In my own head?" He would typically seethe. "Lord, it is terrible. Trying to get anything from the First God is like trying to reach for an object out of reach on a high cliff above you, and you can't fly, and your arms are broken. It sucks."

Whenever they reached Zaero, he made it a point for them to just relax a few hours out from the planet. He flew the rest of the way there and quite literally downloaded every single piece of literature to his cloud storage and came back. He also brought back many pairs of virtual reality glasses so they could effectively read whatever he translated into plain English (because that was the universal language, apparently) from Nephelish. Yet he still at to read some passages that failed to translate due to exactly how old the bit was, old Nephelish was a constant irritation. Luckily, he did manage to glean some interesting legends from the many books, a few he noted and wrote down.

He sat in his room quietly for the most part, reading quickly. Jasmine took the part of processing through multiple books at a time for herself, sorting through the information. He kept his door specifically unlocked in the case that somebody needed him for something important.

Pyro was relaxing in his room, which had a wine cooler built in. He sipped his wine as one of his crew knocked on the door. "Come in" Pyro said calmly before the door slide open and the crew member walked in.

"Sir as one of senior pirates I was wondering why you let those monkeys and that fox get on the ship let alone tell us were to go? The crew doesn't know what's going on?" The senior pirate asked walking up to Pyro.

"Simple really, money and less risk. They may not be paying money for the use of the ship but if they go after the darkhoods or vise versa we'll be able to collect more high tech off the dead soldiers. And I may have to fight none of you will which equals less risk that I'll lose you all... Which is coming more and more hard when it happen..." Pyro said in a sad tone for the last part. "I will miss the men we have lost but the darkhoods are going to be problems be it we fight them now or later. We are criminals but they are somthing worse..." Pyro said in a oddly serious tone. The senior pirate looked at him a little surprised. "Tell the rest of the crew to treat the monkeys and fox with respect for the time being, as long as they plan to fight the darkhoods they are our temparliy allies." Pyro said drinking the rest of his glass.

"Of... Of course sir" the pirate said before hurrying out of the room and told the rest of the crew what he was told. Once they reached Zaero the pilots messaged the planet "We have on board the fox Elprede and two sayains, Valkyrie and Era. May we land?" and then waited for a response.

During their trip Era sent her time sleeping in her room until they exited the wormhole about four hours later. She was truly a relaxed spirit, even during times of stress. In her bed her arms are to the sides and one leg hanging off the edge as she lay on her back. She slept soundly and quietly, as she wasn't one to snore, instead breathing slowly through her nose.

When they exited the wormhole the ship shook enough to wake her and she rolled (quite literally) out of bed landing face down on the floor. She groaned a little bit, and that's when Valkyrie opened her door and sighed.

"Seriously?" She asked.

(muffled) "I campt hewp it. I wike sweeping." She said, still face down on the floor not really willing to get up yet.

Valkyrie sighed again.

"Really Niir'lana, you've filled out in all the right places as a woman but sometimes you're still just as much a child as when we first met.." She chastised.

Era gave a thumbs up.

"Will you get your tail off the floor already." She demanded.

Era floated up off the floor and sat herself on the bed rubbing her eyes.

"Sometimes you are worse than mother." She said.

Valkyrie's eyes narrowed.

"Hmm? What?"

Valkyrie shook her head.

"Look Val... About what we saw in that room-"

Valkyrie put her hand up.

"Don't even start with me on that... I will say this once, and only once, so don't ever ask me to repeat myself. I am a Saiyan Elite. You are a Low Class warrior. I don't care what we saw in that room, you are not my sister and you never will be. The fact that your power level is higher than mine is already a slap in the face to me and my pride, and I won't stand for it. Just behave the way we did before we entered that room and pretend we never saw those images. Got it?" She demanded, more than asked.

Era couldn't help but feel hurt by that. You'd think after all they'd gone through together they'd consider themselves sisters anyway...

Era lowered her head and her eyes disappeared behind her bangs.

"Okay Val... I won't bring it up again. I promise." She said quietly.

Valkyrie nodded.

"Then let's go. We've arrived."

Era nodded and followed Valkyrie to the main deck where she asked everyone to join them before landing. Once Pyro and Elprede had joined them she explained her idea of how to get the Darkhoods to stop pursuing them. Faking their deaths was a very dangerous venture, because if their enemies decided to check their work they'd be in very real danger of dying. Their bodies couldn't remain at zero energy for more than two minutes before they actually died from energy depravation and starvation. And if their enemies didn't get off world right away then it was just as dangerous as even the slightest return of their energy before the Darkhoods were out of range to sense them would be a death sentence.

She explained how she thought Pyro should blast the next planet they were on when the Darkhoods came for them to make it unstable and on the path to explosion. That would give them a few minutes to get it right. They would fight the Darkhoods and pretend to lose and let their energy drop to zero, and with luck the impending destruction of the planet would be enough to drive the Darkhoods off world the moment they thought the group was dead. Once they were gone they could board Pyro's ship, presuming they found a way to hide it or protect it from damage, and get the hell out of there before the planet blew them all to oblivion.

"If you have any other ideas of how to get those Darkhoods to stop pursuing us then I'm all ears. But at this point I think this is our best option. If they honestly believe the vessel of the God they've been chasing has died, as well as the lot of us along with him, then maybe they'll move on to their other targets... It's somewhat cold, leaving the rest of the galaxy to their whims, but it's all I can come up with. What do you think?" She asked.

Elprede sat in the room, his eyes swiping from left to right constantly as he read lines of old literature, of any kind and type to see what kind of targets the Darkhoods would be going for. They did yield some fortunate results; the information gathered about other species and intelligent life across the universe was right at his fingertips. Many such races had their own myths and legends, some even as extravagant as the First God and the Super Saiyan. Many were found to have been proven to be mere myth later on due to the advanced nature of technology nowadays. It was both a waste of precious time when he found one that wasn't real, but at least it was an interesting read. He really just needed to find what he was looking for right now.

He listened half-consciously to the plan at hand, but there was a flaw with that; him. He glanced up at Valkyrie with a frown. "There's a bit of a problem with that... me. As soon as I die, there's another Silver Nephelem to take my place back on Zaero." He crossed his arms over his chest and sighed quietly. "If they know who I am, I'm also sure they know what happens when I die. That would be their golden opportunity to exterminate the last remnants of the First God. So... I would need to leave for a time. At least until you become strong enough to be any actual threat to the Darkhoods."

"Sir, are you saying that we are detrimental to them by staying with them?"

In accordance with that plan? Yes. we will have to part ways from them for a time. He thought tiredly. They cannot believe I'm dead, otherwise they might attack Zaero outright... and I don't believe that's a fight we would win...

"So let me get this straight you want to play dead on a planet that I just blasted the core of so it'll blow up. Then hope the the darkhood get off world quick enough so you two can get on board quick enough so we can take off without blowing off. I just bought this ship and you want me to risk blowing it up in a planet explosion..." Pyro said annoyed with the plan. "I can do it through, but I'm not going to play dead. I well aware I can't defeat some of their stronger fighters but I don't plan to let any one think they succeeded in killing without out really doing it." Pyro said crossing his arms before nodding to one of his crew members.

"So If may edit your plan a little. I'll still blast the core and make it explode and then you two monkey's go onto two small escape pods we'll set on a world." Pyro said as a picture of two pods appeared on the main screen on the deck. "depending on were ever we go to do this you two can go to a near by world to hideout, train, or whatever. Then sense the fox plans not to fake his death as well, he and I can try to start fining out there numbers. Using raids on there bases and such. Maybe even try to pick up some new allies along the way." Pyro said calmly.

"So unless we have another option that what I think we should do." Pyro finished.

Valkyrie listened to Elprede and Pyro and sighed.

"Well I said my piece. We can't agree on much of anything it seems." She said.

Era crossed her arms and looked over at Elprede.

"You know, Elprede, you aren't actually dying in Valkyrie's plan." She said.

"Letting your energy reach zero is only temporary. Almost all life forms can survive for at least two minutes without any energy running through their bodies in the same way those who require oxygen, like us Saiyans, can survive underwater by holding our breath for around two to three minutes at a time before we begin to drown. Remember that Scouters and other energy reading devices, no matter how advanced, can only measure energy so accurately. Technology doesn't know the difference between the decimals below 1 and the number 0. To any device, 0.99 is 0. But those 0.99 points of Ki would be all you need to sustain yourself almost indefinitely while they panic about the exploding planet and leave giving us the opportunity to power back up just enough to prevent our real deaths from occurring while still hiding ourselves from their senses and technology." She said.

She took a moment to breathe.

"I know the plan leaves a lot to be desired with the questions "what if they 'confirm' it by blasting us once our energy hits 0?" and "what if they can sense energy and they pick up on the tiny fractions I have left?" But honestly you leaving our company is not a wise choice. If the wrong Darkhoods find you, you're dead without a fight just as we would be. As the others said there are those among the Darkhoods higher ranks who have speed to match yours. As infinitesimal as our chances of survival are in such cases, they're higher when we're still part of a group." She said.

"Forget it Era." Valkyrie said coldly.

Era glanced to Val who was seated with her hands behind her head.

"I knew the plan was iffy at best before presenting it." She said, glancing to Pyro.

"I keep forgetting that the Darkhoods don't care about you. It's us they want. Era and I have the potential to unlock the Saiyan race's potential, and Elprede is a fragment of a God. You, on the other hand, are just in the way. In my plan you could have done whatever you wanted to so long as the three of us played dead." She said bluntly, returning her gaze to Era and Elprede.

"No matter the final choice we make raiding their bases is not a wise idea either." She said flatly.

"We only survived their last attack because they were literally the weakest of the bunch. They also had next to no real coordination between them despite managing to destroy our ships. The next batch, if it's anything like the other Nephelem said, will be much more powerful and much more dangerous to deal with even with our power levels having increased this much. Actually trying to take the fight to them in our condition is a death sentence, even for the Frost Demon." She said with a sigh.

Era looked at the table.

"I still think your idea is plausible. As long as the three of us make it look like we've died and ensure that all circumstances surrounding the incident force them to abandon us without "testing" how dead we are, then they report back that we're dead and they go looking for a new target. Since Elprede isn't actually dead, they're on a now endless wild goose chase... Though it does present a threat to Zaero. If they think he's dead they'll likely target the entire planet hoping to annihilate the entire planet's population to ensure he isn't reborn from any of them. Or if he was, that the planet's destruction would ensure his demise again." She said rather sadly.

It was then that a thought occurred to Era.

"... Wait a minute." She said as she looked over at Elprede.

"El, tell me something." She said, giving him a more serious look.

"Do you have any techniques which can create Ki-based copies of yourself?" She asked.

"Maybe it sounds stupid, but hear me out." She said.

"Using Ki to duplicate one's physical appearance and abilities has been done before, as I'm sure you know. If you were to create a copy of yourself, and if you could find a way to give it the ability to utilize and regenerate Ki as the Nephelem do before sending it out into the universe to basically just run for the rest of its existence, then the Darkhoods would waste valuable time and resources chasing after a ghost. Every vessel and warrior they send after it is a vessel and a warrior we don't have to deal with and it doesn't in any way pose any greater a danger to Zaero than that which is already inherent by the Darkhood's existence. What do you think?" She asked.

Elprede let off an agitated sigh at Valkyrie. She wasn't understanding what he was getting at. "That isn't what is bothering me, Valkyrie. It's what comes after." He said, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning back in his seat. "Look, I can't die. I don't really 'die' I just reincarnate into a different body pretty much. That's why every Silver Nephelem is Elprede, we're all pretty much the same person but with a different body. However, we may retain our power and it will increasingly grow some indeterminate amount from just growing up into an adult again. But the Darkhoods, assuming they have a great deal of knowledge about me, they will KNOW that if I'm dead, there is absolutely nothing protecting Zaero anymore. That's my only assumption on why they haven't attacked Zaero yet."

"But you're not certain?" Jasmine asked.

Elprede mentally sighed. Of course, it is only an assumption, considering their power. That's been the case thus far with other invaders because they're afraid of the capabilities of each Silver Nephelem. Only the Saiyans and a few other intelligent lifeforms really understand that we aren't as powerful as everybody thinks we are... until recently, anyways.

He leaned forward onto the table, laying his chin down on it and folding his arms over each other on top of it. "If they think I'm dead when I'm actually not, I don't know what will happen to Zaero. The Silver Nephelem's power has always been what deterred invaders from trying anything against us besides our technology being leagues ahead of most others. I say 'most others' now because obviously, the Darkhoods have just surpassed us so suddenly. The battle of the mind comes before the battle of the body." He groaned.

He had to pause and think for a moment at Era's question, racking his brain for any such techniques that he knew. The First God finally seemed to respond for the first time and he actually sat up straight in shock at feeling it stir. The ancient being seemed to whisper something to him, and then a memory stirred. "Uh... yes, I do now. Thanks, FG. Big useless consciousness in my head finally did something for once." He paused, glancing between Era and Valkyrie. "That's what I'm calling the First God now. Saying that title over and over is annoyingly repetitive."

Pyro sighed and clenched his fist when Valkyrie pointed out that he was pretty much nothing to the darkhoods and that his raiding plan wouldn't work. He was mad but he knew it was true. The frost demons maybe powerful but none of them were gods, through some claimed to be. Compared to the reincarnation of a god and two saiyans with unlimited potential it seems he wasn't much of a big catch.

Even if I hate to admit it... The dirty monkey is right... The darkhoods don't care for frost demons... they probably even have a few in their ranks... But it'll just make it sweeter in the end when I kill their leaders... I just have to do what frost demons dislike... Train... Pyro thought as the conversation continued.

"Okay so I blow up and planet we are fighting on while they think your dead and the fox has some energy fly off in some random direction, once they leave you get onto the ship quickly before the planet is complete blown up and I take you some where to hide and train. If that the plan now then there still two things we need to figure out. One what planet we do this on because after I blow it up, it's not coming back and second where are we going to hide?" Pyro asked in a calm voice.

@Deathrattle BB @ChoShadow

Era was delighted.

"Excellent!" She exclaimed happily with a clap of her hands.

"Okay, so here's the updated plan... We lure the next batch of Darkhoods to an uninhabited planet. We can worry about which one later. There are plenty in this system. But once we're on said planet, we fight with all we've got. Slowly Valkyrie, Elprede, and myself will pretend to lose power and in our 'desperation' Pyro will send an energy wave to destroy the planet's core. He can then power up to max and drive off as many as he can while Valkyrie and I play dead. Elprede. To disguise your copy and prevent them from realizing it's fake, you need to let them throw you into the ground or a mountainside at some point to create a big dust cloud. Power down as low as you can once you're sure they can't see you and let the copy hightail it out of there while you slip into the shadows somewhere. Make sure it gets their attention though because they need to believe you fled." She paused a moment to breathe.

"Once they believe that Valkyrie and I are dead and that Elprede has fled, they'll likely take off in pursuit of his copy. To ensure that Valkyrie and myself don't actually die, however, I would like to request your aid Pyro. If you could ensure we don't take any damage during our playing dead phase, it'd be a big help. I know you don't care much for us, but as allies we're no good to you dead so you've got just as much a reason to keep us around as we have to remain in your company." She said.

She then let out a soft sigh.

"Any objections Val?" She asked.

Valkyrie shook her head.

"It seems solid enough. Almost anything can go wrong here, but the same can be true of any plan no matter how well thought out it may be."

Era smiled.

"Good, then we're agreed! Until we sense the Darkhood's next batch of wannabe warriors, we should continue our training. The more prepared we are, the better... Plus I want to give that gravity room a try." She said.

@Deathrattle BB @ChazGhost

Elprede gave a short nod at Era. The plan seemed good enough, they could simply account for any errors or disruptions as they found them. "While I'm not going to actually let them grab a hold of me or hit me, I can fake it. It may or may not be a good trick for you to learn as well; being able to react as if you had taken a hit and fly off, only to then counterattack them when they come to press their advantage has been quite consistent against even the best martial artists in the universe. I believe that will work nicely for what this plan will need. And if it isn't possible for me to do that, unless they send people so bloody powerful that they can actually move as fast as I can now... I can simply move quickly enough that they cannot see me, use the technique, and then disappear like nothing had even happened at all. I can use my afterimages as a distraction until I complete the duplication."

The silver fox paused to think for a moment. "There's also one other technique that I can do, come to think of it... not one I've ever needed before." He stood up and powered up in his base form, manipulating his Ki around and across his body until he had bent light around him. His physical appearance changed; he still appeared like that of a fox, but instead he looked like a white and brown spotted one instead of his normal silver one. Only very minor illusions changed the way his build look; slightly larger in the stomach and neck. His eyes remained as multi-chromatic as ever. "This is... I dunno, something. It changes the way light bounces off me enough that I can effectively change how I appear to others," he said, "without using Negative Ki. Handy."

He then pointed at Era and Valkyrie after letting his illusion fall away, returning to looking as he would before. "You two--I got something I still want to teach you, and it may or may not even save our lives at some point."

Era and Valkyrie blinked and looked at one another.

"Something fousThey asked as one.

Era glanced to Valkyrie once more and then back to Elprede.

"Not to be a negative nancy, as the humans say, but what single technique could possibly be enough to potentially save our lives? If our regular techniques don't work, I don't imagine much else would magically do the trick." Era inquired skeptically.

Saiyans had always relied on the power they held and believed strongly in the idea that if you weren't strong enough, then you weren't strong enough. Their pride never even let them imagine that moves which could literally multiply one's power for brief periods could exist.

@Deathrattle BB

Elprede took a step back from them. "Then watch and behold," he said.

He closed his eyes and took a moment to collect his thoughts, tightening his stance and holding his arms out from his body, bent forward at the elbow and his fists clenched. He raised his Ki and allowed it to envelop him, flowing through his body more rapidly like a rushing river. The Ki channels in his body overflowed for a moment before a light burst from him and he was standing in his Primal Form, the brilliant black and white glows of what appeared like Ki morphing and changing, trailing through and along the surface. This was only a demonstration, though, and the technique was easier to use in this form.

He nodded then. "So, as you already know, this is Primal Form. It's a straight transformation that unlocks new abilities for me while also giving me a big increase in power. Why am I showing you this again? It is, fundamentally, similar to the technique I'm about to show you. I just thought it would be good to start with a thing we all already know to better connect to the new technique. Observe..."

He clenched his fists every and suddenly tensed. He closed his eyes again, and they shut much tighter this time, as if he were actually in pain. He stood like that for a few moments before the rest of his muscles began to bulge and ripple slightly, growing larger and thicker. In his Primal Form, it looked as if his Ki was expanding, flows of red beginning to emerge and run throughout the black and white Ki already there. He gritted his teeth, agony erupting through him at using the technique. However, his Ki could be felt to be rising even further. Red lightning suddenly began arcing across him and he screamed, unleashing a surge of red Ki as his aura flared high, his power suddenly growing several times, approximately four times. He opened his eyes and they had changed as well, no longer simply shifting and changing colors randomly; they both were a deep, piercing crimson color.

He grunted, lowering his stance. The pain had subsided... for now. "I call this the Mazunokari. In my language, 'wrath of the First God.'" He paused, smirking. "Original, I know. In short, it is an increase of all attributes of the fighter. So..." he disappeared, totally invisible from sight. He tapped Era on the shoulder, shrugging. "I think it is quite good, but it does not come without faults. It's pretty hard on your body, without training significantly to handle the effects of the Mazunokari, you will destroy yourself. Holding it for too long will also be quite detrimental to your health. And by 'detrimental' is that you will destroy any ability of you ever using Ki ever again. It is also pretty painful transforming into and reverting from." He said.

Elprede allowed the extra power to leave, and just like he said, he suddenly growled in pain as his body clenched up everywhere, the muscles and Ki pathways suddenly shrinking in size. With a small groan, he rolled his shoulders, flexing his left arm to try and alleviate some of the soreness it had gained. "That aside... it is quite useful to know. I haven't used in a fight mostly because I have needed to yet, not to mention it could be disastrous if you use it wrong. But that power increase may or may not just save your lives. So... what do you think?"

 Era and Valkyrie watched the demonstration with great awe and interest. They could feel the raw heat from his body as his power soared and continued to magnify. Era in particular took interest in this ability while Valkyrie watched with a mixture of awe and disgust. Saiyans didn't need such abilities which magnified their power at the expense of their body's safety and potential functionality. While it was great he had come up with such a technique, Valkyrie had no intention of making any use of it. She would rely on her own power as it was and the techniques she had developed to fight.

But Era was a different story. She was practically drooling over the idea of learning this technique.

"That was amazing!" She said, excitedly.

"Okay, screw this meeting. Come with me! I want to learn how to do that right now!!" She said as she rushed forward and grabbed his arm.

"C'mon!" She said, dragging him halfway down the hall before finally letting go of him.

Valkyrie sighed as she watched Era drag Elprede away.

"That girl never changes..." She said.
