Fantasy I Escaped My Cell...

She giggles strangely, then stops. Her smile reduced to a frown. Gestalt shakes her head.

"So much despair.... Not a single shred of hope inside of you... Why must a beast wish for its own demise...?"

She sips her coffee and groans, rubbing her side. Her wound has healed, but the pain still bothered her.

"Because I'm not the kind of person who can accept loss." He said in a rather simply way, coupling the simplistic explanation with a shrug before trying to give some elucidation about his own reasons.

"I never got something like a reason to be alive to start with, so why should I bring myself to stay running away from being a test subject? Just dying would be simpler, I wouldn't be tired anymore." The 'explanation' was said in quite the monotone tone but even so a hint of melancholy was detectable in his speech. It was clear that he couldn't bring himself to stay escaping but also didn't wanted to be a test subject again, so he thought that the only logical action was finding a way of ending his life, but even so the thought made him somehow sad. It was quite hard to be (partially)human after all.

Gestalt takes a shallow breath, the beast inside of her pleased. She exhales and hugs herself, falling to her knees. She starts laughing silently and her eyes change to that of her beast, the Ifrit. Her voice is overlapped with the growl of a monster. A small ring of fire appears around her, burning the edges of her cloak.

"More... More.... Your sadness... Your hopelessness.... give me more...."

She looks up at him with her twisted face. A ghastly smile reaches from ear to ear.

"My, my, it seems that someone got worked up suddenly." The emotionless tone that was usual to the boy sounded almost scary in the situation, as it didn't changed even a little from the one that he used for talking normally, as if being in front of a beast was nothing but a normal occurrence for him.

The only visible change in the boy face were, in fact, his eyes. The formerly golden eyes changed to an azure tone in the spam of a second, with the pupils assuming a reptilian appearance.

"I'm enjoying a talk for the first time in a while, so do me the favor of not getting in the way till I finish it." The tone that the words were said changed from an nonchalant to a cold nature that sounded almost menacing, emitting a pressure worthy of a mythical beast who was once revered as a god while gazing at the beast trying to manifest itself.

Liam would soon make his way back into the city, his arms crossed as he rubbed them in an effort to warm himself. Not a word escaped him as he looked to the daylight sky. His emerald irises giving off a slight glow.

'Damn...' He cursed in his thoughts. 'I'm starving...' A small but audible growl seemed to sound from his stomach as he studied the streets. 'I wonder how that fight ended... If it even did.'

You can follow, if you'd like. I just feel bad I haven't posted here for a while.

Vail

Vail frowned as the boy had shifted and left. Was it something she had done? She hadn't said anything...Then again, she really doesn't say anything. Well alright...Vail stomped out the fire and took her fresh knives with her to the city. She hated it, but the street lights gave off some warmth. Vail followed the boy a little ways, silent and steady, but eventually tore her path away from him. Disappearing. She sprinted with no noise, towards streets.

@xXLittleLokiXx

This time he had to block the truck with his right arm, due to the fact that he didn't have enough time to dodge or form a shield. The truck pushed him backwards into the building behind him, causing the wall to break behind him. Once he came to a stop, he'd use the same Fists to punch the ground beneath him, which caused black and red spikes to come from the ground, pushing the truck into the air and continuing towards him at rapid speeds.

The girl coughs and stands, dusting off her cloak again. While her small frame still shakes, Gestalt shows some restraint.

"Ahem... Excuse me, friend. My... beast tends to get out of hand sometimes..."

Her voice returnst to its soothing nature. She sips her coffee as if nothing happened. She watched as the wolf and phoenix head back to the city, then looked at the hollow that they occupied.

"Hmm...? Is there something going on in the city? Why did they go?"

Liam soon pocketed his hands, gaze shifting back to the Phoenix for a moment before then forward. He didn't really desire to leave, but his hunger was what pushed him to exit the hollow. Still, he'd been glad she chose to follow.

His attention would remain forward before he then paused when he had not heard her footsteps. Quickly looking over, his eyes widened when he found that she was now gone.

@Paranoid

"I suppose they're returning to something like a hideout or maybe reuniting with a group." The boy answered in the same emotionless voice, stating the explanation that he considered more probable. His gaze moved between the two for a while before losing their track.

"If I'm not wrong, they're not familiar with eachother so it's probably the case of a scout from a group that found a possible recruit or something along these lines."

Vail

The girl pursed her lips together as she ran against the freezing air. There was no way she could use her abilities or shift now. It wasn't that big of a deal, it was just disappointing as she would miss them no doubt until it got warmer. Vail spots a girl holding a cup in her hand and a boy near her. She sneaks around to an alley, avoiding the two. She gave off a small smile as she jumped from rooftop to rooftop...Over the buildings. Vail was a sly, cunning girl, always turning games into death traps and simple tasks into adventures. She was a mute with a dark and wild personality, to sum her up.

But she was a loner.

It was rare that she stayed so long with the wolf boy.

Vail new she couldn't afford to make friends. We would all be killed eventually. Vail was a brave girl, with little to no fears. But her biggest fear is loosing someone else that is close. Like her father.

He's dead.

She had reluctantly chosen to leave him. Vail couldn't grow attached. And if she did, however, manage to pair up with someone...She would have to stay as far away ( personally ) as possible. So there was no point.

Her bare feet against the frozen concrete rooftops was not pleasant. So she took a break by sitting at the edge of the rooftop she was on at the moment. She tore apart an old white t-shirt she had that had been stolen and stuffed into her leather satchel. Wrapping it around her feet stopped the bleeding, though the shirt was a bit bloodied. She swung her legs over the edge, sitting down and admiring the view over the city. Vail would have to get a move on eventually. North would make do...The mountains were over there. Small towns littered the hills, so raid would be easy. Alright. It was set. She would set out for the mountains tomorrow morning.

But perhaps she would find somewhere to stay.

Vail stayed, swinging her legs back and forth. Step one: find a hotel.

The woman places her cup of coffee into her bag and ties it to the belt on her shorts. She gently places her right hand on her rapier and heads in the direction they went.

"A group of Gods... A great, yet horrible idea... Maybe they're with the beast you seek."

She walks past him, then stops after a few steps. She looks up at the sun, smiling.

"Hmmm..."

"I'm not seeking it in special, you know?" He said in the same monotone tone, following her movement with his gaze while speaking, as he somehow couldn't stand having someone he was talking to out of his field of view.

He proceeded to move a little for the sake of approaching a nearby tree, leaning against it while leisurely putting his hands near his face, warming them with his breathing. Surprisingly, he started to get used to the girl to the point that he wouldn't put himself in a position where he could react to a surprise attack.

"It is just one of the candidates, any strong beast would be enough." He nonchalantly said, as if talking about finding someone to end his life was an interview to a job.

The girl starts laughing again, but catches herself. She clears her throat and walks over to the boy, looking him straight in the eyes. She again gives him a once over.

"I would like to... be your girlfriend."

Her rather strange tone made her words sound more like a joke than an actual statement. Her small frame and ridiculous outfit makes it hard to take her seriously.

Ivan smirked turning his arm back into a whip and slashing the truck downwards in half.

"That was a nice game of catch."

He'd then turn his arm back into claws running at Alex.

awaiting the collision between them.

Vail

Vail found a ladder going down he side of the building and used that to go down and slip through alleyways. Eventually she had gotten herself to a crappy hotel building near towards the outer edges of the city. A middle-aged and heavy man stood at the front desk, looking drowsy. The man gave her an annoyed look...It was the middle of the night after all. "How many rooms? What size?" He stated in a nonchalant manner. Vail held up a number one finger and closed her palms close to each other, signifying small. The man glared at her, giving her a room key card. Number seventy three. She breathed out as she took the rickety elevator up a couple of floors, stepping out, and finding her room down the hall. She inserted the key, making the knob beep, and pulled it open to reveal a just as crappy room Vail shut the door behind her but didn't bother locking the door right at the moment, no one would come in anyways at this hour. She threw her satchel off and stripped her coat, weird bracelets and locket, beanie, and  her t-shirt, leaving her just in a sports bra and pair of ripped black skinny jeans.
Vail crashed onto the bed, heaving slightly and soaking in the warm air and wiggling her bare feet wrapped in t-shirt material. She felt more alive and decided to crank up the thermostat until it was about one hundred and thirty degrees in her room. Now, this was good.

Vail strode to the bathroom, checking herself in a mirror. Oh God. Perhaps that was a bad idea.

Her long black hair was matted and three large cuts were visible on the side of her face. Dirt was smeared here and there. She frowned, but soon it was flipped.

Vail had an idea. This hair could not afford to stay long.

She took out a knife.

The boy emotionless countenance changed dramatically for the first time in the entire conversation, after all the behavior of the girl was simply absurd for him. He didn't really made nothing that could posible attract her so why was that happening was the only question in his head. The surprise was clearly expressed in his face while he expressed the only thought that he could possible give a form to with a single word.

"Why..?" He asked, his clear voice that was generally devoid of emotions clearly expressing confusion.

She steps back and folds her arms, looking to the sun again. The woman lowers her hands and unties the bag from her waist, pulling out her signature book. She takes a breath to read, but halts, closing the book in the process. She starts walking through the forest. She calls back to him in a mysterious tone while wagging her finger.

"What does a half seek to find? Why does the moon never stay as a piece of itself?"

Seiryuu started following the girl as if it was natural, even he couldn't find an explanation of why he wanted to hear the reason that much despite trying to find a reason. The frowning of his face was even more accentuated after hearing the declamation-like speech from the girl, the answers that came from her naturally confused him even more.

"How can that make sense? How did you achieve such a conclusion?" He asked in a tone that clearly denoted his confusion.

Viola was still running.. though the sound of chaos caught her ears. It was rather close but.. that was the problem. It aggravated her that someone like her would even start chaos on the streets like this. They were being hunted down for fuck sake! Viola creeped her way around and eventually set her eyes on the fight.. familiar faces coming to view. She didn't really know what to do.. she wasn't one to put herself out there. But the more she thought about the situation and how stupid it all was, it caused her to set off a bit. She ran out and tackled the male who was running towards the other male.. and tackled him from the side. They both fell to the ground and when they stopped tumbling, she stood up. She was scraped a bit on her arms but it wasn't anything serious.

"Can you guys not?!" She snapped, rubbing the back of her neck anxiously. "I really don't want to die today just because two mutants started a fight and got caught." She added. Her eyes flashed a golden/yellow color.. She didn't expect that to stop them but she hoped it had. Getting caught because of someone else being in the same area... no thank you.

The girl kept silent, refusing to answer his question. She started to leap from tree to tree, heading to the city. Her movements were fast and her limbs were well coordinated, gripping tough branches with her hands and pushing off of the trunks of trees with her feet. Her thin frame causes her to look like a bundle of red fabric flowing in the wind. She whispers to herself.

The half seeks to be come whole

The crescent desires to become full.

As do the lonely souls we bear.

A true Gestalt.

Vail

Vail twirled the knife in between her pale fingers before reaching up and steadily pressing it against her hair that she had bundled up in her fist. She closed her eyes. The knife made a 'shink' sort of noise and set it on the counter top. The marble floor littered with long pieces of the darkest black hair. Vail smiled. Her hair was chopped short and blunt, just above her shoulder. She parted it to the side using her hand and swept up the mess. Vail bit her lip in the mirror. Vail smirked and ran out to flop back onto the bed, twisting the knife in her hand. She took her belt of knives off and threw them with her others clothes on the floor. Alright, now we wait. Not sleep. Wait.

Ivan stood up

"Don't interfere with things you don't understand.."

Ivan then turned his hand into claws looking at Alex from the distance..

Amelia

Amelia sat huddled up quietly in the passenger side of an 18-wheeler; the driver had pulled over after seeing the barefoot young woman walking in the cold night and offered her a ride. A huge grey sweatshirt covers the medical gown she had on, this particular article of clothing obviously not hers due to the size. the grizzled man would glance over at her before his eyes snap back to the road. "So Miss, where're ya headin'?" he with a slight country accent. The disheveled blonde would barely speak the words, voice a hoarse whisper before she spoke up. "A-Anywhere..." After speaking she would bring her knees to her chest then cover her legs with the sweatshirt. She was shivering, fearful for her life – though the trucker would assume it was from the cold.

The experimentation she had been put through was a harrowing experience. There was no doubt that her survival of the experiments made her a valuable asset, recovering this asset was not an option. Amelia had no one to turn to so getting as far away from the facility as possible was her only goal.

The trucker would pick up his vehicle handset radio and reply to some garbled mess that Amelia wold be unable to understand. His hand reached for the dial of the radio and it was tuned to some news station. "This just in, the police are reaching out to help find a 26-year old woman return to her family. She has blonde hair, blue eyes, and is five feet and seven inches tall." the trucker would again glance at Amelia, whose eyes were wide as saucers. Her heart was racing and her entire body felt like it was on pins and needles. The news report continued "Police are asking that if anyone has seen her or has information about her to call their tip line. Police also warn that she may be in a delusional state and that any interaction with her should be done with care." the radio station would continue its broadcast after the special alert, which the trucker would change the station.

Amelia would reach her hand up the right sleeve of her arm and begin to scratch herself. Now? NOW of all times it had to act up? That damn rash...it always comes up whenever she was anxious or stressed. The trucker again looked at her, this time a bit longer with a raised eyebrow before reaching for his radio again. "W-what are you doing?!" she questions with a trembling yet sharp voice. She felt like her heart would soon burst from her chest and her body felt as if it were on fire. The trucker ignored her question and kept murmuring into the radio. "Who are you talking to?! What are you saying?!" she yelled at him before reaching for the radio in the man's hand. "Give me that!" she screamed, struggling with him. The truck would swerve into the oncoming traffic of the small less-traveled highway. The cabin of the 18-wheeler collides with a car and the cargo trailer flips on its side blocking off most of the oncoming lane.

Amelia would jolt awake to the sound of sirens approaching the scene "Get up...Get out...Before they take you..." she pressed herself to get her ass in gear and out of the cabin. She didn't bother checking the people in the car she just had to get the hell out of there. As she stands on both feet she falls, her right leg got a gash along the side. Thought he wound was shallow she had to hobble away from the crash. There was an exit to a city nearby, thankfully within a decent walking distance of the crash. "Just bear it Amelia...Just bear it..." she encouraged herself, this was nothing compared to the pain of the experiments. After a few close calls with running into several cars along a busy road, the blonde finally finds a place to rest. Groaning as she plops in an alleyway to rest, hand reaching out towards her right leg and pressing on it hard to cease the bleeding. Amelia bites her lip for a moment, hissing and whimpering as the pain travels through her body.

I hope this is alright! I know it's not really specific or directly interacting with your character but I figured it would be better if you had SOMETHING to work with. I encourage you using NPCs and doing improve! ^^
