Fantasy I Escaped My Cell...

Talo had been just about to pass the two strangers without incident before a nice looking lady slipped in front of her and spilt some sort of hot liquid all over the place. Her gaze quickly flicked up to the two on the opposite side of the street, ready to run if necessary. After all, everyone was an enemy. She shuffled past the now-standing up lady, her face kept to the ground, leaving her head hidden by the shadow of her hood. God she was tired... She'd have given anything to eat something as well. She hadn't eaten since the last town she had been to, leaving her stomach growling loudly. Her bare, tan legs were freezing cold in the weather, it being her only set of clothes so she had no choice but to wear it. Taylor groaned, she would have to keep walking for another while to get away from these three but she didn't have the energy. Instead, she turned around and walked into the small coffee shop the woman had come out of and sat down at a table next to the window, staring out at them and making sure they didn't make any hostile moves.

The streets were deserted around them, except for the girl who fell down from the ice. He wasn't going to bother asking if she was ok, due to being antisocial. The only reason he was talking to this guy, is because he was like him in a way. He could relate with him.

"So, what are you going to do about a sleeping arrangem-"

His instincts kicked in at the last second. Red and black veins formed around his arm, making a weird, but effective, looking shield appear to replace his arm. He crouched down for more cover, as a bullet hit it, chipping some of the surface and causing it to scratch a little.

"They have found me. My brother must be in the god damned area."

He'd tell him.

"I've got to go, now. Soldiers are in the area. They have trackers, so you might want to either come with or head off elsewhere."

Without another hesitation, he ran down the street, gaining fast speeds with each step. The shield was providing him cover, while he ran around the corner away from the sniper who was aiming at him. Being killed wasn't an option. Today at least.

Viola looked over at the male who had spoke to her, weakly smiling as she rubbed the back of her neck. She was stumbling for words for  moment before eventually her tongue was able to form some.

"S--Sorry... Trying to cool off the coffee. Stupid freakin' ice.." She explained, biting on her lower lip. She looked at her feet and back up at the male before the other man spoke. Um... he just did something. What was that? Was she seeing things... she hadn't known anyone else who had special abilities. Apparently both of them did... because the one who seemed more panicked offered the other one to tag along. Should she? She was basically apart of it but... she didn't want them knowing that. She really didn't have a choice... she just knew that they were all being hunted.

She stripped off her heavy winter coat.. it would only slow her down. Throwing it to the floor... the girl took off. She went around the other side of the building the male had ran.. she didn't know where she was heading. Hopefully she didn't run into him-- but that was the last thing on her mind now. All she knew was... she just gave out her cover. Damnit.

Liam would tense, his hearing picking up the distant sound of gunfire before he spun on his heels to face the male behind him. The sound of guns proving to be all too familiar to the lad with the emerald irises.

He watched in awe for a moment as the one he'd been following seemed to undergo a slight transformation, though he soon came to his senses as he nodded to his words.

With not a second to spare, Liam took cover in the alleyway for a brief time before he had then began to run in the same general direction. It would be bad to completely group together, they'd all get taken down, then. So, with that in mind, Liam made sure he could sense the ones rushing off to avoid the gunfire as he took his own route - the shadows.

Jumping through one, he instantly stepped out of another several alleyways ahead. "Man, if my lighter was full..." he'd growl, quickly shifting his gaze around in an effort to find a hiding place he could somehow drag the others into.

Ivan stood outside a coffee shop near him.. "Hmm... Well old brother .. its about time we see each other..-

-But in order to do that i need to make my presence noticeable.."

He'd walk into the coffee shop.

He'd stand at the counter and a women would politely greet him .

It was at this moment that he started rethinking old memories..The feeling of betrayal when his brother split in disagreement.

HE'D GET ANGRY.

Clenching his teeth he'd begin to groan hunching over and holding his arms together against his stomach.

Tendrils flowed  out and back in showing that hes charging. People started to scream

They began to ran for the door but by the time the first touch was onto the door.

He exploded.. Tendrils everywhere killing citizens and destroying the coffee shop along with a few cars parked on the out side.

Ivan purposely made his presence noticeable letting out a strong pulse.

(An Image so you can get get the feels on how it looks.)

Alex had made it away from the snipers quickly, so he stopped and put his hands on his knees to regain some stamina, because some of it was gone from the running that he was doing. That was not the worst of his problems though. He had heard an explosion off in the distance, but what truly surprised him was the power it's self. He could see it clear with his own eyes. Black tendrils flowed up into the sky and some attached the buildings.

"Here of all places.."

He'd clench his fist tightly, making it shake from the memories.

"Whoever is behind me running, don't follow me. I have to deal with a problem"

Veins ran around his right arm, forming in the shape of a blade, that is as long as his body and sharper then razor. Alex was headed to the source of the explosion.

When he reached the site, he stabbed the blade into the ground to slow himself down. He slid in front of the door, looking at the tendrils around the once great coffee shop.

"Ivan."

Alex said, getting the blade out of the ground. The place reeked with the smell of dead flesh around him and smoke from things exploding. Blood painted the streets behind him, but it was nothing new. His destructive brother hadn't changed a bit since the last time they had their endless battle.

"You shouldn't be here. Killing for no reason is unnecessary."

Ivan retracted the tendrils.

A building collapsed behind him.

"Alex!..I knew i felt you nearby..And wheres my hello.. For old sake.."

He'd turn to the building behind him and turned back at Alex.

He'd look down to see a burnt thermos. He'd pick it up.

"I mean .. I just came here for some coffee.. And about the killing .. Their still alive."

He'd stop to think about it..

"In another place.."

He'd laugh

"But forget about it .

so what brings you here!?... Big brother.."

He'd examine Alex looking at the blade.

Having heard the male, Liam would nod as he listened to him take off. He'd then press his back up against the brick wall - concealing himself in the shadows even after realising they all seemed to escape their line of fire.

'Far too close fer my liking...' The Irishman would think to himself, a hand being brought up to his face as he'd rub it gently. A heavy sigh seemed to then escape his lungs as he'd try to recompose himself.

"Sometimes I think this is all just a test to see if I've forgotten what it's like to be chased." Liam would then comment before turning his attention in the direction of the destroyed coffee shop with curiosity glowing in his eyes. Wincing his eyes shut. He shook his head. "No, bad wolf. He said not to follow."

His self-scolding, however, seemed to slowly be proving itself to be in vain, as he'd take a couple steps in said direction before halting his actions and beginning to pace the shadows of the alley. "You will stay here, you will stay here..." were the words the seemingly troubled wolf would tell himself - music still coming from his ear buds.

Soon, Liam removed the lighter from his pocket and began to study it. Trying his best to force himself not to follow.

@ Anyone around

"Don't call me Big Brother anymore. That died, along with our way of thinking a long time ago."

Alex would say, getting his blade ready for a direct attack. He eyed the destruction around them and began to anger at the merciless shell his brother had turned into.

"I guess I'm going to have to beat those murderous ways out of you."

Alex had rushed forward, twisting his blade to the right, trying to hit Ivan. If that should fail, Alex would counter it with a left uppercut.

Ivan hunched over and looked at Alex with a smile

"Lets see if that happens!"

Ivan turned his arm into a whip and swung around to get a feel.

"LETS SEE IF YOU CAN DODGE THIS!"

Then he'd use it to grab and throw a car at Alex.

and if Alex dodged,it followed up with a truck..

Staying back was proving to be harder and harder for Liam, especially as he heard the sounds of vehicles being tossed about - crashing upon impact.

'Alright, we'll just go and... make sure he's not dead.' Liam told himself in his mind. 'Just... Don't interact. You've got a bad habit of... you know...'

Following his thoughts, Liam stepped through a shadow before emerging out of one that was closer to the action. His eyes seeming to widen from the destruction.

Keeping sure to remain out of sight was key to being able to stick around and watch, and that's exactly what he did.

It came as a shock to May when they told her she'd be released. A chaotic, crazy woman let loose on the streets? And with a beast awakened inside of her? Now who was the crazy one? After her release she walked around town, thinking of all the mischief she caused before she was taken. An evil grin appeared on her face as she was thinking about it. The girl, who stood at 5'5, walked down an alley, dragging her fingertips along the wall. The texture felt great against her skin and was a change from the softer walls back at her old 'home'. She took a deep breath and sighed, finding it no longer any fun being on the ground, so she made her way up the roof. Up there, she could see everything including a couple of beasties fighting. Though it was some roofs away, she still had them in her sight and was very intrigued. So our little daredevil jumped from roof to roof until she was on one closer to the fight and crouched down to watch.

"Oh my, two little beasties are going at it. I wonder what the law is going to say about this." She said with a sly grin. She laid on her stomach and her head on her left arm as she watched the show, internally making bets about who would win. It wasn't quite determined yet which one of them was stronger, but she sensed it would be made known very, VERY soon. Until then, she'd just sit and wait.

Liam would eventually sit in the shadows, growling to himself under his breath. 'Stay... Stay!' He repeated from within his mind, watching the battle within the safety of the darkness that seemed to completely engulf him.

His sensitive ears and nose picked up yet another presence. A female, no less. His emerald irises slowly slid up and in the direction of said newcomer. Curiosity seeming to shine in them.

(Sorry for how short this is.)

( Sorry I haven't been able to play for a while. I have been tired lately so I'll try to post some time tonight)

Vail

The girl positioned herself in a crouch upon a building, wearing ripped black jeans and a tattered brown leather jacket coated in patches. Her t-shirt was of a black colour as well. She wore goggles over her eyes, as they were bright orange and red. They would give away too much. Her black hair tossed behind her, wild and unkempt with a dark gray beanie over it. Her eyes were trained over the empty city...The middle of the night.

Vail was freezing.

And that was not good.

The Winter had never been her favorite times, so she refused to use her powers. It was painful when she used them in the Winter, or in the rain.

Vail stood up as tall as she could. Which was not tall by any means, the tiny girl. She watched the people below her, but was mainly focused on the icy woods down the road. The only way to get to the woods would be to have her feet on the ground. And she was on a building at the moment. And the only way to get down from here was to jump. Vail groaned. Looking around, she couldn't see any humans around to spot her. So, with that, she stood on the edge of the building, facing her back outwards. And...

She fell.

Backwards.

Down the building.

At about halfway down, her body contorted into a great Phoenix, sailing downwards and contorting back into a girl again. It was a beautiful sight for anyone passing by, really.

Vail fell on the ground just after her feet had touched, onto the street.

It was dreadful, using powers in the cold.

Pain shot through her body in waves as she writhed around in silent agony.

The pain went away after about three minutes. Vail looked around and stood up, double-taking and sprinting off into the forest. Her satchel swung loosely across her chest as she ran. She was free from the city and that was all that mattered. Something snapped behind her. Perhaps...Was someone following her? It could have just been an animal.

"You're a fool if you think that'll stop me."

Alex said, swinging his arm to cut the car in half. The two sides flew by him, which meant that the only thing left was the giant hunk of metal flying toward him after it. He'd use his left hand to stop the truck and send it flying back at him.

"I'd love to play catch, but I'm curious. Is that the best you have got?"

'So many Beast Spirits in the area.' Liam would remark in his mind after observing the Phoenix girl. A soft huff soon escaping his lungs as he rubbed his face. Only to pause and look up at the sound of sirens nearing the area.

"Great... Just what we need..." Liam would sarcastically comment in frustration, his teeth gritting a small bit in the process. Wincing a small bit once his eyes had flashed between green and red.

(I didn't get any notifications for this role play. >.< )

Vail

Vail whipped around to meet the eyes of a boy. Her large eyes grew wider from beneath her goggles. She took off running. It was bad enough that a boy had seen her, whether he be a Humanoid or a Beast. Vail tripped over a root growing over the ground, tumbling down a hill only to jump to her feet again. "Oh heavens." She whispered under her breath when she thought she had lost the boy. She came to an area where trees bent together, forming a canopy and shielding the icy snow from coming through. Vail collapsed against a tree to catch her breath and rub her frozen fingers together. Vail secretly prayed that she would find somewhere warm and secluded eventually. For now, she would have to shiver against a tree.

Ivan laughed

"Brother im only getting-"

He'd turn hands into Hammer fist and smack the truck back to him at high speed.

"STARTED!"

He'd turn his arms into claws and follow up behind the truck his claws ready to swing.

He'd grin thinking to himself .. Its been a long while since he had this much fun.

Liam listened as the sirens grew closer, his teeth having clenched before he'd then slink into the shadows. This frustration was toying with the wolf, and the outcome wouldn't be pretty if he'd been unable to find comfort.

Once through the shadows, he seemed to step out within the snow-coated woods. Hand still on his face as he growled quietly to himself. "Alright, alright! We're in the forest, I'll let you roam..." he would tell himself, wincing as large amounts of dark energy swirled around him. The wind picking up as he soon stood on all fours in his shadow/nightmare wolf form.

"Anyone over? Come on idiots... I need a damn escort here!" A lone soldier walked in the streets, using various buildings for cover. It was not unusual that soldiers were few. At least his kind. His radio emitted no response, only the lonesome scratching of an empty channel. "Fuck... going to take a small break..." He ran into an alleyway, hiding, and leaned against the wall, huffing. He carried a backpack laden with various equipment and gadgets, none seemingly for combat. Well, except one...

The soldier attempted to use his radio again, until... His head perked up as he heard a small voice, however, groaned as it was an automated voice. "Fucking trackers..." The tracker began to speak, in it's usual monotone voice. "TARGET SPOTTED AT... COORDINATES N-27, W-38..." With a sigh, the lone soldier stood up once more, and began to walk again, this time in a fast pace...

He came across another street, however, it seemed that all hell broke over. Instinctively, he ran into a small building, looking out the window. That's when he saw... The human, turning into the creature. He began to panic, and ducked down, hoping he hadn't been seen.

(Hope I can insert myself in here!)

Vail

Vail stashed the items in the hollow near the clearing, where she kept mandatory supplies. She felt uncomfortable on her feet...She wasn't wearing shoes, actually. Scraped and bloodied from the ice shards in the ground. Alright...Breath. She took in a sharp breath, shifting into the great Phoenix. It really was the most awful thing in the world to use her powers in the cold. The Phoenix hit the cold ground, cawing loudly in excruciating pain. The pain died down, leaving the Phoenix feeling better. Using her powers in the rain, however, was impossible. The bird soared through the tips of the trees, staying hidden. That was when she came to see a wolf in the snowy woods...She watched him from a branch. He would be able to see her, no doubt. But it was a real animal. Not a beast. Right?

The wolf shook his fur, a black fog seeming to seep off the beast as it let out a huff. Soon, he'd then begin to wander about the forest.

'Alright, I just need to steer clear of the city, and I'll be fine. Hope the others will be okay...' Liam would think as his red eyes would scan the forest. However, he'd soon come to a stop before glancing up at the Phoenix with curious eyes and a tilted head.

'That's the same one from before.' He would mentally remark. Of course it was, how couldn't it be? It wasn't every day one might come across a Phoenix. Especially in this world. As he watched, his eyes would seem to glow.

@Paranoid

Vail

The Phoenix bird cocked her head at the wolf. Perhaps it was the boy from earlier. She bored her eyes into the wolf's eyes. Hers were abnormally large in human form, just like her Phoenix form. The Phoenix looked as if it were giving him a subtle sly smile. And she was. Her wings spread as she soared down and around the wolf, and than in front of him. Dodging trees and bushes and large rocks. She swerved to face back at the wolf again, before launching back off and into the forest again. The Phoenix came to a frozen river, but was well aware to stay away from it. It would melt if she got to close. She twisted her head to see if the wolf had followed, hoping he would. She had never had an encounter with another beast in her life...
