Fantasy I Escaped My Cell...

Liam would pause from the extended eye contact before moving a bit to watch her sore overhead, looking forward to watch her fly off.

A smile then formed on his muzzle as he quickly followed after her. Something about a bird of fire leading a pyromaniac through the woods was just so glorious. The birds elegance in the air fascinated him.

His paws quickly crunched in the snow as he ran. His pitch black fur flowing in the breeze as a small bit of black smoke trailed after him.

Vail

Vail smiled at the wolf as he followed her. He was a pretty beast, really. She hobbled over to the hollow where she kept her stash of knives. Vail turned to face the wolf, looking at his eyes and trying to read him. It was harder to read beasts than humans. She snapped her beak together and cawed at him quietly. The Phoenix held up a talon black as night, signaling to wait a moment. After a few long seconds, she morphed into her human form. Black smoke wrapping around the bird and a girl appearing from it. Black hair, pale skin, and the same red orange fire eyes as the Phoenix. She wore her leather tattered and patched clothes, with her goggles on her head, revealing her eyes. She trusted him, which was rare for Vail. Vail patted the wolf on his head as she reached for her knives and shoved them in her belt. She bit back the pain from the morph. She knew the sun was coming up, so it would get warmer and easier for her soon.

Liam soon slowed to a stop once they neared the hollow, slightly stepping back as he watched her shift back into her more human-like form.

Feeling her hand, he closed his eyes - unsure of whether or not to shift back, yet. He did flee to calm himself, after all. But, I suppose one might say that he was calm. Nevertheless, he watched as the girl returned her knives. His head tilted as he glanced to her goggles.

Vail

Vail was comfortable. The sun had warmed the area a bit, even though it was still freezing. She waved her hand at the dog. Her goggles were for many reasons. She pulled her steampunk goggles over her eyes, shielding the colour and size of them. Vail placed her hands on her hips, giving him a disappointed look. It was not fair that she had to shift back to her human form and not him. Piling some sticks together, she motioned towards them. A flame lit across her palm, dancing and wavering a bit before she tossed it onto the twigs to make a small fire; trying to make the area warmer to gain her strength back again. This time, she tilted her head at the dog as she plopped down next tot he fire. The wolf was much larger than her. Everything was larger than her, to be honest. She was a tiny girl.

Liam continued to observe her from where he stood, still focusing on the decision on whether or not to shift back. And, this moment of silence continued until he took notice to her dissapointed look and stance.

'What's that look for?' The wolf would mentally questioned, soon pointing his nose to the fire. 'Does she really want me to--?' The wolf would then wear a sort of grimace on his face. He was calm, though. So maybe this was the time.

He took a couple of steps back before closing his eyes. A thick, black smoke and fog began to leak from him - circling him rapidly as he'd return to his more human-like of forms. Once the fog and smoke energy had cleared, a 5' 6 male with dark brown hair and emerald eyes stood in place of the wolf. His teeth having clenched as he'd been fighting to tolerate the pain of his transformation.

Gestalt sat in a tree, looking at the hollow. Having followed the black smoke and the warmth of the fire. Her silver hair

drapes from the red hood that was pulled over her head. Her rapier and parrying dagger hangs from her side in their

sheaths. The combination of her clothing and hair makes her look like a cosplayer to some. She lifts a foam cup up to

her lips to sip her delightful coffee. It smelled of hazelnut and caramel.

The lone figure of the boy that called himself Seiryuu slowly walked by the surroundings of the woods, his nonchalant behavior and slow pace giving a detached feeling to anyone that saw the scene from a distance, as they definitely didn't suit someone that was near a potentially dangerous area.

"So near..." The boy's right hand moved to push away the pitch black hair that  covered his field of view while his gaze searched for signals of anyone like him near. He could feel that he wasn't far from his destination now, so his generally indifferent countenance couldn't help but show a hint of relief while he unconsciously sighed loudly.

Gestalt stares at the boy, taking in his appearance and movement. While she feels that the boy isn't affiliated with her captors, she must be sure. She stands on the branch she was sitting on and lightly sips her coffee.

"Well... Time for my acting classes to pay off..."

The girl falls from the tree, screaming as she does so. Gestalt hits the ground only making a light thud sound. She grips her side and groans as a small branch impaled her. Seems that the woman did more harm to herself than intended.

"F...fuck... That hurt..."

"You're surprisingly quite dumb for someone with such an strong beast smell..." The boy didn't really react to the girl falling in any exaggerated way, the expressionless countenance showing no sign of emotion other than slowly tilting his head to the right while talking. The golden colored eyes giving a hint of curiosity while focusing at the branch that managed to perforate the girl.

"So, why did the thing inside you permitted such a thing as getting hurt in a fall? Is it dumb?" He asked while approaching the girl, the lack of emotion in the voice turning the phrase slightly weird. Surprisingly, despite his emotionless talking his action was extending his right hand to the girl carefully, as if trying to get permission to help her.

Scarlett Akume

Scarlett was having fun being on the outside, flirting with men who're hoping to get more from her than just smiles and giggles at their jokes. In all honestly though, their jokes were terrible but we'll keep that between us. The bar was dimly lit and she had three men who're crowded around her, trying to pick her up and one upping each other to try to impress the young lady.

"I own my own jewelry store."

"Well I'm the CEO of a multimillionaire company."

"I established my own foundation that recuses dogs from abusive homes and we've saved more than 10 thousands dogs!"

Her eyes switching from each man as they talked, either looking accomplished that they looked better than the other or disappointed that they got out played. The snake slit pupils didn't seem to repulse them but rather intrigue them even more, wanting to get to know the mysteriously seductive women before them.

She heard the gun shots and stomping of feet from the army approaching them before anyone else could take notice, knowing that it was time for her to leave. "I'm sorry boys but it seems it's time for me to go, its getting rather late." The disappointment set in on their faces as desperate voices tried to convince her to not leave and to stay just a bit longer, one offering to buy her another drink in persuasion to get her to stay even just a moments longer. Shaking her head with a disappointed pout, "I wish I could, thank you for all your kind offers. I hope we can meet again." Smiling sweetly at them as she leaned in and kissed them all on the cheek. "Goodnight." Waltzing out of the bar as she slipped into an alley way upon seeing a silhouette of a man coming up from the street.

Looking down at her hands, she held the jewelry man's wedding ring, the CEO's wallet, and the foundation man's gold watch, a sly smirk crossed her face. She knew it was wrong but it was the only way her sister's and herself would survive, plus it was kind of fun once she got good at it. "Stop glaring at me Jewel, you know we can't just 'get a job' and live in a perfect home like normal people because that exactly what we aren't." A sharp note from the tone of her voice. From within their consciousness, Juliette shook her head as she looked back at Charlotte who was in a sense, sleeping. The night time was usually Scarlett's time outside since that was when she 'worked' but when they were getting chased, that was Juliette's job to run and escape. "Ready?" Scarlett spoke gently and let her sister take over and in a moment, Juliette opened her eyes and she was outside in the winter cold, her gas mask releasing warm air from the filter cartilage which was her exhaling. Jewel nodded once in response to her sister despite already being outside, looking down at her solidified hands as she clenched them and unclenched them a few times.

Gestalt gets up on her own, sensing a bit of hostility from the boy. She brushes off her now blood and dirt stained tunic and fixes her hair. She squint her dull, blue eyes at him, as if she's trying to look into his very being. She then diverts her attention to the small branch in her side. With a light pull, the branch comes out.

"Someone's not really nice..."

She speaks with a smooth, silky voice. Her slight German accent giving her speech a more foreign appeal. She drops the branch on the ground and sips her coffee.

"That's... Probably true, I think." The boy said giving his best weak smile to counter the girl's gaze. Truth being said, he didn't really cared about social interaction so it wasn't as if being nice would change anything. "But that's not really the point, is it?" He asked in his usual nonchalant tone, without even trying to demonstrate care about the wound in the girl, after all she wasn't a human so something like that wasn't really a bother.

"I would like to ask... The chaotic situation in this surroundings, was it done by you?" He voiced his main concern, after all the whole reason that made him come to such a troublesome place was finding the person who was capable of causing such a tumult.

"It was done by all of us. The fact that we exist creates this chaos."

The odd girl walks circles around the boy. She takes a book from a small shopping bag and flips it open. It was a journal of sorts. With a theatrical voice, the girl begins to read.

"It was we who promised light, but it was those unlike us who saw the shadow our light casts. Our blood of gold taints their minds, leaving only poison. The hunters seek our hearts so that they may one day be like us, one day sit in the heavens like we do. After all, we are gods bound by rules."

She closes the book and sips her coffee.

"Quite the way of putting things" The boy simply said after hearing the performance, his golden eyes following the girl's movement. "But It's not the answer I seek." He continued, once more positioning himself in front of the girl, his gaze focusing on her eyes.

"Was you the one that indiscriminately killed civilians in the surroundings and caused such an uproar that made me start moving?" He voiced his question once more, this time detailing the situation that he meant to refer. With his peculiar way of thinking he couldn't really understand the why behind the girl's answer, thinking of it as a simple failure in convening what he meant that resulted in a vague answer.

So much was happenin around May that she couldn't quite contain her excitement. People were changing into their beast modes, fights were breaking out, it was all enjoyable for the mentally disturbed girl. That is until she heard the sirens. What a nuisance they were, trying to come over here and end all the excitement that was going on. A scowl came across her face as she sat up watching the blue and red lights many blocks away. That dark aura of hers started to circulate as a dark mist surrounded her. The intruders were beginning to tick her off but she calmed down when she remembered she shouldn't be getting into trouble. Not yet anyway. For now, she'd continue to focus on the fight until something interesting took her mind away from it or until the intruding officers made it to the scene. Which ever came first.

"No. Actually..."

Her answer was plain and simple. She shakes her empty coffee cup and sighs. The odd girl reaches into her plastic bag and pulls out a spoon, bottle of water and a packet of instant coffee. She pours the package and water into the cup and lightly stirs it. After holding it for a few seconds, it starts to boil with heat. She puts the lid back on and takes a sip.

"I have a question for you now..."

"A question for me?" The boy stared at the weird actions of the girl without reacting to the odd way of doing coffee, after all the thing that brought more impact to him about that was the use of instant coffee, but he couldn't help but tilt his head curiously at the girl affirmation.

"I don't care about answering it, it's an equivalent exchange." Of course it wasn't really that good knowing that he picked the wrong person, but he wasn't really someone to expose his dissatisfaction over a answer just because it wasn't the ideal answer. After all it wasn't logical to blame someone for not being the right someone, or so he thought.

Her smile widened. The mysterious woman opened her book again and recited another of her brilliant works.

"O, Dragon, dear Dragon.

Your powerful wings and sharp teeth.

You pur darkness into the hearts of many,

But can your teeth pierce darkness itself?"

"I can't really understand this question." He stated, clearly he couldn't get what she was trying to ask with such a strange way of putting things. Her behavior made him somehow confused, it wasn't logical to act like that if you really wanted a answer.

"If that suits as an answer, my teeth and wings can't do anything but causing pain to others and myself." He said after a few seconds of thought, trying to get the meaning behind her question. Truth being said, his own... Abilities were nothing but a bother to him.

She appears to be quite entertained by his confusion. She laughs and places the book back into the bag and sips her coffee.

"I would read your fortune as well, but sadly, I don't have my crystal ball. I will tell you this instead..."

She digs in her bag, pulling out a sketchbook. She flips open the sketchbook and shows him a crude drawing of a ball with strange tendrils coming out of it.

"This is who you're looking for..."

"This? Quite the strange fellow." The casual way of talking didn't really suit his emotionless tone,  sounding somehow weird when voice like that.

"But... That can help, I guess." He said, trying his best to convey gratitude to the girl that at least tried to auxiliate him in his search. "Still... It doesn't matter right now. I can wait a little more." He muttered in a tone that denoted a slight listlessness, the first feeling that he expressed in quite a while. The mutters were immediately followed by a loud sigh, contributing to hide the unintentional change in his tone.

The woman stands there, sipping her coffee. She looks the boy up and down as if she was observing a piece of art. Her eyes slowly locked with his, her simple case becoming a full state. Her hardly intimidating 5'4" stature sways from left to right.

The boy tilted his head to the left when faced with the girl gaze, his emotionless countenance showing no change while I gazed at her face. The result of the action was the covering of his eyes by the dark colored hair, that was clearly too long by his standards as he couldn't manage it correctly, making him look somehow funny when confused by what just happened.

"There's something on my face?" He asked after a while, curious about why the girl started looking at him. His right hand once more pushed away the hair that covered his face, uncovering his youthful face that hardly had any facial hair that made him look somehow like a teenager despite his age.

She tilts her head as well, matching the boy. Her silver hair, despite its length, stayed away from her near flawless face. Her red slumps over, hiding one of her eyes. The other eye widens and air around her became quite hot. She speaks in a dark tone that reeks of despair.

"What will you do when you find him...?"

The boy frowned slightly at the question, as if he was insecure about if he should answer it or not. "That's..." He started, stopping for a while to think about how should he put it in words. After a few seconds he finally stoped frowning, recovering his usual expressionless countenance while he finally voiced the answer.

"I'm going to ask him to kill me."
