Fantasy Hybrid, Magic Camp

Sarthiss nodded. "Yea, I thought it would make you happy. But it appears purring is beyond my physical capabilities."

Eevee snuggled his chest, allowing her ears to tickle his chin. "That's all right. Don't try to be something you're not. I like you the way you are."

Sarthiss smiled and lied down with Eevee still on top of his chest. He looked up at the sky, it was going to be dinner soon. He shook his head lightly, now was not the time to be thinking of food. The dinner bell rang out six times, six o'clock, time to eat. He ignored it. The sun was shining, so he had energy enough. He kissed the top of Eevee's head. "Fall is upon us, and winter is coming soon. I plan on staying inside alot more when it starts snowing, I hate being cold." He explained. "I hope you have no objections?"

"What do you think Nekos do? Run around in the snow like dogs?" She said sarcastically. It was 6 as she could tell from the bell, and she hated the idea of eating so early, but she never complained. She was definitely looking forward to staying inside during the winter, but some Nekos slept through the entire season. Eevee was different, she liked watching the snow fall, but her instincts still told her to save her energy. She decided not to mention it to Sarthiss, but eventually he would know if another Neko slept through the winter and bitter cold.

Sarthiss grinned. "No, but I bet that's what wolf will do." Sarthiss inhaled deeply again, and caught the unique scent of Eevee along with the smell of the grass, the trees, the wind. "He's acting less like a hellhound and more like a puppy each day. He told me he was 16 by his species standards, but I don't believe him one bit." Sarthiss chuckled.

Eevee glared at him. "You do realize that he has a good reason to act like that right?" She didn't wait for a response before she just gave away the answer. "He's like any normal dog. They only live to be 13 in human years, but they don't get out of their puppy stage till like.....5. 6. 7 maybe? Doesn't matter. But that's the same way with some Nekos. We don't always live as long as you humans."

Sarthiss was confused. "Don't hellhounds have like, magical fur or something that keeps them living longer than a normal dog though? I know a guy who used to use their pelts in healing medicine..." He regretted saying this, Eevee might think it was barbaric.

Sarthiss winced. "Used to." he followed up, "He's dead now. He made alot of people mad, I only tried to find him because Rou wanted some alchemy ingredients."

"Good stuff, some of it illegal, but good stuff." Sarthiss thought he might've been digging his hole deeper. "Let's change the subject." He said, still lying on the ground.

Eevee sighed and just went with it. As long as he wasn't doing it anymore, she was fine. She rested her head and pecked his cheek, but blushed a bit after. She looked away from him and tried to hide the blush.

Sarthiss tilted her chin back up so he was looking her in the eye. "What's the matter gorgeous? I ain't gonna judge." He kissed her, cupping a hand against her cheek.

Eevee kissed him back, her ears twitching and flicking in every which way. Her tail wagging then wrapping around his ankle involuntarily. It as sort of like a sign of affection that it does that.

Sarthiss stayed that way, seeling Eevee's tail curl around his ankle. If she was having a good time, he was. He did blink into heat sencing mode to make sure nobody was around so maybe finally, he and Eevee could have some well deserved uninterupted alone time. He searched in the direction of the training feild, and sure enough, wolf was still talking to Shade.

Eevee's ears twitched again, knowing that Wolf wasn't around because she just had that feeling that he wasn't. It wasn't like she could sense the presence of different individuals, or could see their heat signatures, she just had to go by instinct and subconscious feeling.

Sarthiss broke the kiss and ran his thumb under Eevee's chin. "You don't have to blush around me. There's no reason to be embarrassed, whatever you do I've probably done something a hundred times worse."

Eevee nodded and hugged him tightly, her tail tightening it's grip as well. Not that she didn't believe him, but she loved having him around to comfort her.

Sarthiss ajusted himself so that instead of lying on his back, he was lying on his side, facing Eevee. He kissed her again, putting a hand on the small of her back, the other on the back of her neck, pressing her against him lightly.

Eevee was surprised at the closeness, but quickly got used to it and kissed him back. She enjoyed his company, and it was definitely nice to have him there.

Eevee blushed wildly, hearing those words froze her in place. "O-Oh...Y-You heard that...?" She didn't expect that he would've heard, but then again, it was her boyfriend for crying out loud. He wouldn't lie to her, right? She dismissed the thought and looked at him, smiling, but the blush was still spread over her face.

"Yea." Sarthiss said quietly. He stared into Eevee's eyes, soaking her in. He liked Everything about her, he could sit like this all day. 'I just might,' he thought.

The way that Sarthiss looked at her made her smile. She rested her head under his chin and allowed her ear to rub against the skin under his chin. She purred again, listening to his heartbeat.

Sarthiss Held Eevee like this for a long time. The sun turned yellow, orange, and red before sinking below the horizon. The moon didn't come up, well, it did, but it was a very small sliver that announced the equinox was coming. He smiled as the stars twinkled into existance and shivered once, but the warmth radiating off Eevee's body kept him warm. He thought about how he would react to her flames in the future. He was pretty much not afraid of anything except them. 'Pretty ironic,' Sarthiss thought, 'but I do need a strong woman to keep me in line for the future.'

Eevee watched the stars, as if she had expected them to move from their places. She noticed that Sarthiss was thinking, but ignored it and snuggled his chest, closing her eyes and continued to purr.

Sarthiss fondled her ears a bit. "You wanna sleep out here tonight? The moon isn't too bad, I'll be fine." Sarthiss yawned. "That, and the fact that I'm too lazy to get up and move."
