TJ shook her head "It's a big deal Sam! You being abused and you know it!"

 

[SorrelColonel]

"So what? It's fine if so. It's not hurting anybody but me."

 

[Tapadero]

"Exactly! If I told someone, the police, or my brothers, they could help! We could help! He could be put in jail or a restringing order put on him!"

 

[SorrelColonel]

"No, he'd just get angrier." He shook his head.

 

[Tapadero]

"But he would have to stay away!" She srgued

 

[SorrelColonel]

"He'd find a way." He insisted.

 

[Tapadero]

"No he wouldn't, please Sam!" She begged

 

[SorrelColonel]

"You don't know my dad! And you don't know what he'll do." He turned away.

 

[Tapadero]

"Then come live with me, the boys will protect you, I'll protect you!" She insisted

 

[SorrelColonel]

"That'll make things worse. Face it, TJ, you can't help right now."

 

[Tapadero]

TJ sighed "I can't leave you here like this!"

 

[SorrelColonel]

"Yes, you can. You have to."

 

[Tapadero]

"Why?" She asked

 

[SorrelColonel]

"Because he's coming home in an hour."

 

[Tapadero]

"So!?" TJ froze hearing a car outside. "Gyspy!" She said turning to run to the door

 

[SorrelColonel]

He turned. "Who's that?" He walked outside.

 

[Tapadero]

"I don't know but Gypsys gonna freak!" She said opening the door, and walking down the steps quickly to where Gypsy was tied


(I was thinking it would be step dad home early)

(Could.... I think it's a little early for them to meet though. I'll have it be the mom.)


"Oh, it's my mom." He glanced outside. "Is gypsy okay?"

 

[Tapadero]

Gypsy had yanked on her halter breaking her lead rope letting her loose. Alex quickly got to Gypsy, who snorted nervously

 

[SorrelColonel]

Sam's mom got out of the car. "Hey, guys. I gotta get something, then I have to leave. Wish I could stay. There's food if you're hungry." She walked inside hurriedly.

 

[Tapadero]

Alex waved awkwardly grabbing Gypsy and holding her steady. "shh girl"

 

[SorrelColonel]

Sam walked over as his mom drove away again. "She alright?"

 

[Tapadero]

"Yes, she'll be fine, Does you mom know?" Tj asked

 

[SorrelColonel]

"Know what?" He blinked. "That? Yes, but no."

 

[Tapadero]

"What do you mean, yes but no?"
