"And she doesn't do Anythig?" She asked suprised

 

[SorrelColonel]

He shook his head. "She's scared of him too."

 

[Tapadero]

"Oh great! So when is he leaving?" She asked

 

[SorrelColonel]

"Well.... She's still working on getting him to sign the divorce papers." He sighed.

 

[Tapadero]

"What? What if he doesn't?" She asked "Ok come home with me tonight for one night, ok?"

 

[SorrelColonel]

He hesitated, but nodded. "Okay."

 

[Tapadero]

"Come on then" she encouraged starting to walk home

 

[SorrelColonel]

He followed reluctantly.

TJ thought desperately trying to figure out a way to help

He walked in silence beside her.

 

[Tapadero]

TJ got to the house and was thankful to find her brothers gone, she returned Shasta to her pasture

 

[SorrelColonel]

He stood by. "How many horses do you have?"

 

[Tapadero]

"4" she said taking Shastas halter to the tack room

 

[SorrelColonel]

He nodded. "Cool."

 

[Tapadero]

"Yeah...can we go inside please? I can fix your crude bandges and make sure it doesn't get infected" she said walking back outside

 

[SorrelColonel]

He nodded and followed her inside the house.

 

[Tapadero]

TJ lead the way inside and walked to the bathroom she found bandges and wraps then neosporin and sauve

 

[SorrelColonel]

He followed her in silence as she did so. 

 

[Tapadero]

"You know you scare me with how pain intolerant you are" she said "On the counter please" she asked softly

 

[SorrelColonel]

"Actually, I didn't know that." He lay on the counter though, and in the new light most of his scars looked fresh, and one was even from that day. He winced silently as he lay down. 

 

[Tapadero]

"Oh my pigeons! Max these are new! Who hit you today!?" She demanded taking his shirt off and seeing the new ones

 

[SorrelColonel]

He stayed silent, shoulders shifting slightly as he placed his chin on his hands. 

 

[Tapadero]

"Max...tell me so I can help you" she said softly coming around gently putting a hand on his chin and lifting his eyes to hers 

 

[SorrelColonel]

He didn't say anything, his deep brown eyes just staring into hers.
