It felt like her head was full of cotton and it was becoming a struggle to stay awake, her head lulled to one side as he was binding her hands and she scowled at the floor. "Y-you should know...that...few people, even humans, like you." Raven eyed Nicholas and then looked at the other man as best she could. Before it went black.

Nicholas sighs "I don't care what people think" he lifts the girl over his shoulder and looks at Alex "you know this Marissa girl? If so please send her back to us, she's dying and in three days she'll be gone. We can treat her." Nicholas heard what the new guy had said about Max but didn't say anything about it.

He looks at the man. Alex has his armor on , and stands with his spear and shield in a phalanx defensive position. "Tell you what? Why don't you tell me exactly what's going on? I don't have a reason to fight you." He pauses. "Yet."

Without lowering his guard Alex speaks "There's no reason to fight him. Is there? Assuming he tells us exactly why he's doing this." @Cyborg Ninja @AbadedBigfoot

Nicholas sighs "I'm just here on a recovery mission, I've recovered this girl and now I need to find someone called Marissa before she dies of severe infection. I'm not here to fight you guys so please let me go peacefully" Nicholas stands stock still and looks at Alex

Jake cupped his hands to his mouth and yelled down, "Just be peaceful! There's no use in fighting." He then started projecting thoughts of peace into Alex's and Nicholas's mind

Alex shrugs. "Alright.. It's not my fight. Jake, Myles if you two want to save the girl then fine." He starts to walk away.


"See ya Max." His eyes start to glow an icy blue. "Oh and Jake. I already have a fun time keeping him back. I don't need your help."


(In reference to the evil death form seen when we first escaped) He says as he walks deeper into the forest.

"Not today" Nicholas throws a smoke bomb against the ground and by the time the smoke goes he has disappeared

Jake sighed, "Well, can't win them all," said, still not visible above the canopy. He took of his shirt so it didn't get ripped to hell again and extended his wings, before flying back to the warehouse, seeing if he could spot the man and his prisoner. He landed on top of the roof and retracted his wings, then put his shirt back on.

Alex yells back to Myles. "You coming.?"

As anger built up, I caused my body to explode unleashing enormous amount of fire. Catching any nearby trees on fire. Fine then. I'll go save her myslef! I dart towards the lab.

Marissa had passed out randomly, not knowing it was due to her infection. She got up and looked around. "Oh fabulous. Fainted in the middle of a forest." She started to run in a random direction, looking behind her till she accidentally ran into Alex. "NO DON'T TAKE ME BA-... oh... Hi Alex." She got up, dusting off her clothes.

Nicholas enters the lab after running for a while and walks to the prison area and shackles the girl to the wall, he then radios the director "Ma'am the escapee is back in the prison area, I'm gonna go find Marissa now"

Elya responded shortly after. "You will prove yourself to me if you do so successfully. Don't disappoint me, or you will be penalized."

Sighs I'm not strong enough to save her on my own. Turns to go catch up to Alex.

Nicholas radios back "by the way, my partner Max is a double agent, he's working with the supes. They admitted it openly" he sighs "what should I do?"

Alex hugs Marissa worriedly. He whispers. "Listen to me we need to get you to a hospital. You're suffering from a severe infection."


He releases her Hearing a noise behind him. " Oh Myles. Listen to me. We need to go NOW."

Frustrated Go where huh? To the lab to save one of us or to fix your girlfriend? Fine whatever let's go. I need time to think.

Elya stayed silent for a few minutes and simply replied "Kill on sight." @Cyborg Ninja


Marissa looked confused. "I feel fine! What infection?" She denied this possibility, even though she noticed odd symptoms and swelling in her arm. She pouted. "Alex, let's keep going... If I need help, I'll say so."

After sitting on the rooftop for a little while, Jake decided to split off from the group. He needed to forge his own path, in his opinion. Plus, it was great because the organization had no clue who he was or what he could do. He went into the warehouse and started grabbing all the useful things in the bunker, including a silenced pistol.

 

[Cyborg Ninja]

Nicholas doesn't reply, he just runs out of the building and begins following a flashing dot on a device he has, just before he disappeared in the smoke before he had thrown a tracking device on Myles and was now homing in on his position
