They want to research supes to see how they work, if we understand how you work and what you can do we can start trying to live in peace" Nicholas smiles "humanity fears what it doesn't understand...if we understand you we won't fear you. Do you get what I mean?" His tone of voice is warm and gentle

She flinched touching her neck instinctively and pulling dart out, Raven stumbled back turning to try and run. The tranquillisers coursed through her slowing Raven's movements to like that of a child's.

(Le sigh?) Alex awakes from his nap. Although not having slept for very long he feels as if he has been gone for hours.


He hears a commotion in the distance and sprints towards it. He arrives just in time to see a man attacking a girl.


He readies his spear. He doesn't recognize the other man but sees Max. "You, know Max. Jake really wanted you to come along with us, but I told him it would be best to have a double agent on the inside..." He turns towards the two he doesn't know. Jake got back to a safe place on the tree and sat on a branch, watching the situation unfurl below. Damn, Alex mentioned him. Jake liked more or less to stay in the shadows. He started to think back to what he would do after this. This place seemed impossible to find. Back to the gangs? No, he would be killed for desertion. He didn't belong anywhere else. It was tough.

He pulls out a couple of cable ties and uses them to bind her hands behind her back, he then turns to the new arrival and sighs "look buddy I'm just her for this one and someone called Marissa...I think that's her name, girl has three days to live according to her mother and if I don't retrieve her my life is gonna be pretty short too"
