Fantasy Hunters VS Hunted (Not Accepting. Sorry!)

Raven had never run so fast before in her life. She had been terrified to see the fence, but almost miraculously part of it was broken. It appeared as if someone else had taken the same path. She spots a warehouse, but decides to avoid it. As she begins walking through the forest she spots a tree,larger than all the others of in the distance. When suddenly someone begins to fall out of it grasping a piece of paper in his hand. He appears to be unconscious. Raven doesn't know why, but she feels like she has to help him. @JustCallMeAimee @Talia xP

She stares. "Did I say you could leave? I'm not finished with the two of you." She pressed a button on her desk, which activated a screen. The screen showed a giant map, a glowing blue dot appearing. "This, is their current location. Or as it was a few hours ago. Something is affecting the tracker I placed in Marissa." She briefly glanced at a picture on the wall of a group of scientists, Marissa among them. Her face softened for just a moment.

Nicholas smiles "we'll bring her back, Max pack some tranqs, the supe might give us trouble and honestly if you don't know her out I'll cut her head off" Nicholas nods "anything else ma'am?"

Elya shook her head and pulled up another map. This one looked like the inside of a human body. She zoomed in on the arm. "The chaos from a few days ago allowed for some carelessness... Marissa's arm is infected..." She stood up and grabbed the two men by the collar. She shouted, "SHE WILL DIE IN 72 HOURS IF YOU DO NOT FIND HER AND BRING HER BACK. SO TAKE YOUR PATHETIC BEINGS AND GET HER BACK OR I WILL PERSONALLY RIP YOU TO SHREDS AND NOT FEEL ONE OUNCE OF REGRET DOING SO." Elya shoved them back. @National @Cyborg Ninja

Marissa smiled and got up. "Got everything?" She asked, picking up her little bag of things.

Nicholas nods and walks to the door, he sighs "are we gonna need armour for this mission boss?"

Max shudders as he nods, before walking out. Personally, he didn't need armor, as he already had his combat gear. He looks at Nicholas, signalling he would wait outside. Max steps outside, preparing his rifle.

She stares @Cyborg Ninja. "USE YOUR DAMN HEAD. It's a supernatural. HE TOOK MY DAUGHTER. WHAT KIND OF IDIOTS DID I HIRE?!" She got increasingly more frustrated, beginning to throw things.

Alex opens the door to the warehouse. He looks at Marissa. Speaking tenderly. "Alright, let's go find Jake. Just. just take it easy ok?"

Nicholas sighs, she was like a child throwing a tantrum "you know, belittling your men isn't gonna inspire loyalty in them" he walks out of the door and sighs, he goes and grabs some black full body armour and a mask that covers the bottom half of his face, after he changes into it he looks at Max "so you up for a game of search and rescue?"

She nodded and followed him out of the warehouse, taking a deep breath. "You should take it easy too... you gotta be tired."

A knife went partly through the door at Nicholas's comment, followed by some shuffling and muttering, it eventually going silent.

I'm exhausted, but I can't let her know that. The leaves crunch beneath their feet. Walking through the serene forest helps to soothe Alex's nerves. "Marissa how are you holding up? Listen don't worry about me. As long as nothing happens to you I'll be fine. Do you remember why Elya had you operated on? I can't buy her threat about killing you. He smiles at her, his face showing a little fatigue, despite his efforts to hide it. " I still had to come back for you though..." Flustered " Uh. Anyways. Let's find Jake I'm sure he has to be around here somewhere." @Talia xP

Raven's heart beat fast in her chest, like that of a drum, sge slowed underneath the tree. Another presence throwing her off slightly and causing her to look up, in the direction of a body. Heading straight for her. Singing dramatically under her breath she held her arms out to catch him.

Max nods, twirling the long gun back onto the straps on his back.


"Yeah, let's do this before we die.I'd rather not have a knife in my chest, and back, and arms, and legs, you get the point."

Marissa shook her head. "The last thing I remember is being restrained and a mask being put on my face. Some mother..." She couldn't help but notice Alex's fatigue. "Alex..." she stopped. "You need to rest... I will go find Jake and come back. If you don't take a break now, I'm going to be very upset..."

 

[Cyborg Ninja]

Nicholas walks outside and puts on the mask "stick with me and don't get in my way. Tranq rounds only once we find the targets. Oh...and try to keep up" he darts off in the direction of the targets on the map, he is insanely fast and doesn't even break a sweat

It's that bad huh. Crap. Alex sighs and gives Marissa a worried look. "I" He stops himself, and chuckles at her disapproving look. Probably,can't win this one. " Heh. You're cute when you're angry. Fine I'll take a nap here." He grabs her shoulder. Suddenly a copy of the armor Alex wears grows on Marissa. He then leans on a nearby tree. "It won't last long. Since I'll be asleep.But it'll help keep you safe. @Talia xP

Jake falls into Raven's arms. It's a surprisingly light weight. However it still causes Raven to fall to the ground as she loses her balance. This creates a fair bit of noise and draws the attention of Marissa and Alex.

She blushes. "Oh come on, I'm ruthless like my mother." She laughs. "I guess I'm not really..." she grinned. "And you're right, there's no way you are winning this, so just rest." She gave him a hug and felt the armor form around her. "Whoa..." it was so lightweight. She chuckled to herself. "Don't worry Alex... I'll be right back." She dashed off and heard some noise. Marissa headed off towards it and spotted @JustCallMeAimee and @Foundry.

Nicholas stops on the edge of the treeline and sighs "They're close by, I can tell" he looks around "Max? You here buddy?" He adjusts the mask and climbs a tree, he begins leaping from branch to branch

Nicholas sees a warehouse and nods "that must be our girl's last position" he enters the warehouse silently and draws his sword "anybody home? Hellooooo?" He keeps his guard up
