Max purses his lips, before sighing. He goes over to her, and he starts to unshackle her.
"Right when I free you, I need you to knock me out, so it looks like you got the upper hand, alright? The escape door is just down the hall, to the elevator. Go down two floors, and you'll be at the bottom floor."


He finishes unshackling her first arm, and movesnto her right arm.

"Why are you...helping me?" She watched him silently, I want to go...outside. Raven stared at him for a long moment, "it's been years since...I've been outside. I-I don't know how to..." She frowned and shook her head, "thank you."

"You can thank me in your mind when you're away from here."


The shackles snap, and he looks at her.


"Alright, knock me out now! Don't forget, just down the him to your left."

"Well originally I'm from England, my mum and dad died when I was about seventeen. From a pretty early age I've been learning to defend myself, from sixteen I was learning to use swords and firearms. Raven stood up and watched him silently for a long moment before speaking "I'll see you around some time." Sge didn't give him chance to reject the offer. Her fist connected with his jaw in a violent manner that cracked his head back. She drew a sharp breath at the hard punch and watched him stumble.

She laughed at the cookie remark. Then started blushing once he added her to things he liked. She watched him get up then laughed. "Oh my gosh... what would Elya say... it doesn't matter Marissa. She almost killed you... and now I have whatever this thing is in my neck and arm. What the hell was she even doing?" Marissa kept talking to herself, thinking about the events of the day.

Jake finished walking throughout the warehouse, not finding anything else significant. He returned to the room that Alex and the girl he took was in, still weary. He didn't like Alex very much right now. The person they left behind... it wasn't right. Yet Alex contradicted his own words by bringing another back, one that could endanger them, one that he was obviously in love with by the way they were talking. He walked up to them and sat down. "So, you're the one that Alex fancies," he said.

Her eyes widened. "Oh hey... wait... have we met? YOU'RE NOT A HUNTER ARE YOU?" She stopped and realized she would be dead by now if he was. "Oh...yeah, I'm Marissa." She held out her hand. "... Elya's daughter." She shielded herself, expecting him to get mad.

General Lance gives his hearty laugh. "Come now, Nicholas. Hahaha. I know the government isn't very organized but between Elya and myself. We run a pretty tight ship. Unlike her though I prefer to learn from more than just files. I've toppled nations, but I've seen dictators with more emotion than her." Sigh " I choose you, so you could get revenge on supers. But remember that's not all there is to life."

Nicholas pours himself and General Lance a cup of coffee and stares into his own "of course not, life is about experiences, not accomplishments. She'd want me to move on and one day I will. For now I'm just happy I have a cause to fight for"

Alex had started eating some of the MRE's Jake had laid on the table earlier. He had eaten them before.


He opens a brownie up and starts nibbling on it. He gives a look of bitter disappointment at Jake and Marissa.


"They're never as good as they look." He stands up showing the note to Jake. "Look we can use this to find Markaerel."


"Darn i guess Myles wore himself out pretty badly. I'll have to teach him some more about powers"

Jake, unaffected by the additional information, shook Marissa's hand, "Jake," he said, "Are you going to be with us from now on?" He then looked to Alex, and furrowed his brow, "I have not heard of such a place," he said.

She shrugged. "I guess so... I mean I can't go back... at this point I'm pretty sure they would just kill me like they would a supernatural." She chuckled at Alex. "You ever had homemade brownies? You have not lived till you have."

Leaning down she checked Max's pulse and stood moving to the door she checked for movement before slipping out. Her movements where both silent and calm.

Shrugs. Smirks. " You'd love it it's like disneyland. But for supers." Alex becomes serious. " I don't know much about it myself. All I know is its supposed to be a safe haven. The cache of supplies you found, belongs to them. They have a take as needed policy and thats not all on the back of that note was this" Reads it out loud "Reach to the heavens to find your next goal probably refers to a building "


Scoffs. "Bah I make the best brownies. I'll take some of your cookies though."

She smirked. "Deal. You can make brownies and I'll make cookies." She listened to the talk about Markaerel. "From what I've been told, it's supposed to be a place of peace. All we have been able to figure out is that it's somewhere in the north. But Elya is supposed to have a squad of men explore in a few days to try to find it. I'm not sure if she's still planning that, considering all the chaos lately."

Nicholas laughs "we can spar after we get the notes" he walks out of the door and down the hallway, as he enters the room where the prisoner he looks around, there was no sign of the girl, just Max passed out on the floor "okay so change of plans...we're hunting down a supe. She escaped sir"

Jake shrugged, "Sounds interesting," he said, "By the way, have you guys found any clothes yet?" he turned around, showing the dirtied and ripped up shirt he was wearing. The tattoo of the wings was view-able under the thin layer. "Can't walk around like this."

Having been moving through the building she'd passed two guards, whom now lay unconscious and unarmed on the floor. Whistling a low tune Raven glided through the directions Max had given her a blank expression on her face. She could nearly taste the sunlight.


Raven spun blade in her hand nonchalantly and cocky little smile swelling on her face when she found the exit.

"Damn it" General Lance draws his sword. He grows extremely serious. This man has been forged by battle. Years of experience under his belt. He radiates power. "Squad A and B secure the main entrance. Squad C explore floor 1 and 2. Squad D floors 3 and 4. Nicholas check on Max. Make sure he's ok. Grr this is

Ramming the blade into the lock Racen bagan to wrench it open, she did not panic and did not worry just stayed calm and collective as she broke each lock and cheated various codes. Observance pays off.
