"This never happened." He unsheathes his sword, and with one strike shatters the chain. Just as he does so the door opens.

Nicholas clenches his fists ah so the general is a sympathiser. He probably planned all this from the start Nicholas looks at the General and whispers "you planned this from the start?"

Max was too ashamed to look at General Lance as he as well was in the room. However, the general did something the not never expected, and allowed this to slide. Max's eyes widen, looking at Nicholas. It seemed he was confused as well, more so angry.


"B-but general, I committed treason!"
