Nicholas nods and begins inspecting the tattoos, after a while he stands up "I can't make sense of them, to me they look like birds so maybe she has air magic buy beyond that I'm beat"

Nicholas inhales through his nose, the scent of coffee relieved his stress a little "I don't know what I'd do without coffee, probably curl up and die" he laughs and then looks at General Lance "So how come we're researching that supe?"

Nicholas shrugs "because we're humans, we don't like things we can't understand and so we pull them apart, research them and eventually we try to build our own versions. I admit we're a flawed race, we love being powerful and when we appear weak we fight whatever it is that makes us feel like that. People call those things monsters but monster is a relative term, to a bird the cat is a monster, we're just used to being the cat" Nicholas sighs "don't mistake me for a supernatural sympathiser, I'm just a cynic"

Today we have super soldiers, bred for war, further enhanced by cybernetics. It's not about who's right and whose wrong. It's about whose strong and whose weak. Supers are humans just like you and me. You've got the good and the bad. We've twisted their image. Made it ok to attack them. People just cast them from their minds, forgetting they're human too. Remember at the end of the day we are soldiers. We follow orders. If it makes you feel better, with all the supers we get rid of. We take some of the bad ones away too." @Cyborg Ninja

General Lance leans in close "I'll tell you a secret. The weapons and armor the labs give us? Now don't get me wrong all that talk about harmonization and resonating. It's true. All our weapons from the shockers to the officers start the same. But haven't you ever wondered why the stuff they give us is stronger? I can't tell you much else. However, I will say this. "Right when I free you, I need you to knock me out, so it looks like you got the upper hand, alright? The escape door is just down the hall, to the elevator. Go down two floors, and you'll be at the bottom floor."


He finishes unshackling her first arm, and movesnto her right arm.
