Mostly going off cannon but in some areas I might also give my own opinionated idea as well - if you personally ever feel that my answer is not accurate or whatever, feel free to let me know and give me the reasons why you feel my answer is wrong - I'm a pretty flexible person so I wont take what you say as criticism. That being said - When I do decide categories I will be doing my best to be as accurate as possible, I was going to use the nen type test (I got specialist) but I figured that wouldnt work with people who are using opposite personalities to themselves (If you get what I mean).

Yush :3 It's still in the construction stage as I'm waiting for other's to make their CS's and I also have to write down more info on the tabs needed or add onto anything which is important. But you're free to join~ If you have any questions refer them to me - just so you know the timeline of the Rp will be based a few decades ahead of the timeline within the anime/manga series. (So some things are different, but we aren't going into the stage of flying cars everywhere or anything)

As for the character I will edit it gladly and there is no need for me to look at the page. I memorized each and every rank and a Head Hunter is just a person who goes out and seeks talent in random people basically. @Sinister Clown

And awesome, I'm interested to see how your character ends up - I'll take a look at your character personality and let you know what nen type I think he'd be (If you still wanted to go for being a hunter mentor, you will be able to use nen and make up your own abilities that I'll approve afterwards or tell you what needs changing).

Lol it reminds me or Kurana (Or whatever naruto's mother's name was) xD I'm also pretty excited, I have a feeling I'm going to take ages to finish my main char's CS because I was aiming to make it based off of my own personality but I get stuck with other character idea's and I wouldn't really know how to exactly make a decision on what a character with my personality type would be when it comes to nen types without being bias. Although the test thing I took said I'd be a specialist, if I took into consideration my mbti type (Which is INTP) and matched it with the nen types, I would very likely be a manipulator. (I guess with my results I was leaning towars either one, and they do say that conjurers & manipulators are most likely to turn into specialists later on)


Talking about that actually - although I already did my nen thing for my hunter mentor I was thinking about trying to adjust it (Since I completely forgot to take his personality into the question). To me he seems like an enhancer but your guys help would be nice.

When I quickly read over it, you did seem to be the transmuter type. I'll take a better look shortly though and let you know what my opinion is but thanks for narrowing it down for me.

Alright I read over the personality, I feel he'd be either transmuter or conjurer. The only reason I don't think he'd really be classed as a conjurer is mostly because your character doesn't seem to really go at his own pace and doesn't mind adjusting himself to situations. While your character definately leans more towards transmuter with the whole secretive thing and being a very well verbal-speaker and using charm to hide his intentions or get his way.


Basically, I feel that your character would be a transmuter.

To me Haruko seems like an enhancer. He is straightforward in his actions and way of thinking and seemed like he would never lie about certain things. Plus I think it would be hilarious to see a little crossdressing nineteen year old boy have super strength and send someone flying after being provoked X3 @Mitchs98

I mostly go off of Hisoka's nen theory about it having to do with one's personality (Since nen has a lot to do with one's life-force) while also using my own knowledge of character's and their nen types. Personally I feel Haruko would probably be an enhancer, the only thing which points towards something else is the fact Haruko is a cross-dresser.


Nen and Personality


The following are the systematic speculations about different personality traits of Nen users summed up by Hisoka. Many people use them because they have proven to be very accurate in general[8]:

• Conjurers are high-strung and methodical. For
  
  Nobunaga: You're an Enhancer, aren't you?
  Gon: So what if I am?
  example: Kurapika, Kortopi and Shizuku.
  
• Emitters are impatient and not detail-oriented. For example: Leorio and Franklin.
  
• Enhancers are simple and determined. For example: Gon and Nobunaga.
  
• Manipulators are logical and do things at their own pace. For example: Zushi, Illumi and Shalnark.
  
• Transmuters are whimsical liars. For example: Killua and Hisoka.
  
• Specialists are independent and charismatic. For example: Chrollo and Neon.
  

Sometimes, it is possible to guess the Nen type of a person based on their personality. For example, judging by Gon's outspokenness, one can easily conclude that he is an Enhancer.
