We get them a lot. I hate it. D: we don't have a basement or anything so it always makes me nervous. >< it's probably because of Harvey even though that's like a two states over. lol

So far everyone I know is safe, either the flooding is barely at their doors or they got out of town before it started.

Hahahaha the last one we had down here was Katrina, that was like right on us. We didn't have power and water for weeks. We were without power longer than water though, but we had prepared so we were okay.

We only had one, I can't remember what we used it for but gas was a big deal at the time too. I am pretty sure we had some set aside though because I don't remember any problems.

That's good! I know Hurricane Sandy missed my house for some reason. We just had the basement filled with water but it had a drain there so we weren't worried about that and the windows cracked from something hitting it. XD
