Ikr? Like... okay so in 2016 that one guy dies which kinda' cancels out everything else that happened, but then like... when the loop closed wouldn't that put Jake back in his current time? I mean it didn't lock them into 1943 when the loop closed there. o_o time travel stuff is always confusing. I am still trying to figure out how they got back into a 1943 loop. I was wondering about that, does it actually have to be the year they want to go to for them to create the loop or can they just say, "Oh, hey, I want to go back to this day and time!"
