Suffering
I actually did pass out... I blanked at 6 AM and went into 6 PM.

Yep. That one.
D: eeeerrr...... that really sucks.
Yea...So I'm a bit depressed and now I'm just gonna make another one. Told her that she could keep it and she made a paper craft with it...ripping it into pieces.
That's just mortifying. D:
That's my baby cousin.
How old?
She's 5 turning 6. It's okay. I already know it's my fault for leaving it out like that so, yea...kids. XD
xD oh yeah... I have a five-year-old... and I went in his room and he had taken wood glue that he got from his grandpa (that I didn't know he even had) and had started gluing toys to the furniture. xD
XD Yea. Kids. Gotta love em really. XD
xD I discovered that the glue was still wet so I was able to clean everything... but there are random crayon drawings and stickers all over the place in my house. xD mostly the walls. all of them his.
LOL!!! That's too funny!
He's my artist.
It's awful. LOL
No like, seriously... this is a conversation between me and him about art:
Viggo: "hey... draw me a pony."
Me: "Okay. *Draws a little cartoonie pony and shows it to him*"
Viggo: "*Scrutinizes* ... well... you didn't do it right."
Me: "Well then you draw it."
Viggo: "No... I can't draw it. You have to do it. Draw it right."
Me: "*Sighs and proceeds to draw more ponies and there is something wrong with each one that he can't put his finger on*"
I used to draw fairies. Like... when I was in... seventh or eighth grade, all I drew were fairies. All the time. xD
I drew people being tortured when I was in seventh and eight grade...I know, it's really dark for a kid to do that so I threw those drawings in my closet never to be seen again. Ack! DX
o_o that's pretty insane. xD like what would make you want to draw that?
LOL I used to draw naked people when I was a kid. out of curiosity I guess. xD that didn't last long though.
Naked People are a whole lot better than torture. XD
Let's just say that some really messed up stuff happened to me when I was younger and I couldn't find a good outlet until I found a 'how to draw manga' book. XD So yea...one of my teachers thought it was really cool and told me to try to draw as story. One with a happy ending and one with a sad ending. It helped a lot.
I know some kids draw pretty insane stuff. My son draws... stuff with a lot of blood but I wouldn't necessarily say it's disturbing, just really weird. xD
I'm sorry that something bad happened to you. I'm glad that you found an outlet though and in a way I guess your calling.
Yea, it really did. I'm just glad that what happened to me won't happen to my baby cousins and if it was, *knocks on wood* I would be able to pinpoint it and talk with them. If they ever need someone.
That's wonderful of you. something bad happened to my husband when he was a kid to the point that he was scared to tell anyone until he was an adult because the people involved threatened his family. I've made sure my kids know that if something happened to them and we got threatened to tell us because they couldn't do anything if they were in jail. I home school though and my kids are never away from me, plus I am crazy paranoid and I will TEAR SOMEONE UP if they mess with them. My husband is probably more crazy protective of them than I am too.
Yea, I don't blame you for being paranoid. I'm sorry to hear about what your husband had to go through. I'm crazy protective too even to the kids who are not family but friends or strangers really. I remember once there was a guy tugging a little girl and I went up to them to ask the little girl if this was her dad only for him to run away and I basically tossed a rock at him while screaming bloody murder.
So yea. I really do not blame you two to being protective of your kids.
Ugh... that's horrible... once when I was in like... fifth grade, I was walking to my friend's house in the morning before school (why, I can't remember, my house was on the way to school, hers wasn't), but I was walking between this apartment building and the loading docks for a grocery store right next to it and this guy came up to me and was like... asking me all kinds of questions and it really started freaking me out so I JUST RAN. I ran all the way to my friends house from there, I didn't stop and I didn't look back and as soon as I got to her house, I told her mom and we called the cops.
I started being really protective of kids starting with my baby sister, she is nine years younger than me and because our mom worked all the time, I was in charge of her. I got her ready for school and took her there, I picked her up and took care of her until our mom got home so if I went somewhere with my friends, she was there. I always kept her where I could see her or I would be holding her hand and she never left my sight and she knew the rules. I do the same thing with my kids. Although Viggo is my trouble maker, he thinks he is a ninja and I call him honey badger. xD but it's okay because his big brothers are responsible and if I am looking at something and he isn't listening to me, they wrangle him. None of them leave my sight or my side. Thadeus (that's my oldest) has only just started getting braver about doing things on his own when we go out in public, like using the bathroom or going to look at something on another isle. I hate it, but I can't make him stay little forever. D: but he's twelve and he's a pretty big twelve-year-old.
