Yeah, I can see them still working together. Kinda' like how snipers and spotters work together so that Renee can still fight blind. Like Seifer would tell her the angle, speed and direction of the target before she releases her arrow.

Yea, especially since Renee is really good at taking directions, she's going to be really good at that with Seifer's help. It would probably help with the perception skills too like her hearing gets better, picking up different tones that she would never hear before from when she's not blind and would feel certain things like vibrations on the ground. Zer0 That would help Seifer be more aware of their surroundings if she picked up on something.
