Roleplay Skittle
Eternally Awkward
Lydia leaned back as James spoke, her eyes squinting slightly as she smiled at him, "you know I already told you it's okay to get mad," she then nodded to his question and her cheeks plumped at his peck to her cheek. She sighed softly as he continued to hug her and nodded in agreement to the next things he said. Of course Lydia didn't want to worry anyone else by being worried about everything so she just decided to keep it to herself for now, everyone had their own stresses over the coming battle to deal with and they didn't need her adding anything, even if they volunteered.
James was probably right, she probably wouldn't be okay until the battle was over. Until everything was back to normal even. Until she was sure that around the next corner they wouldn't be facing another foe. But she'd be strong for James, just as he always pictured her, just as she usually was.
Once their planning was over and the groups had been selected, Lydia gave a firm hug to each of their friends that prepared to join the infiltration group, wished them luck, and told them to stay safe most of all and if it seemed like they might be found out to get out of there because failing and leaving alive was better than failing and dying.
