Realistic or Modern Home for Unwanted Magical Children

"No you're not, don't say that. There are just thinks in life that you don't know much about. Don't beat yourself up." Felix patted her shoulder. "Take your hood off, it's rude when there's a lovely lady like myself in the room." Felix curtsied as if he was girl trying to poke fun at himself so she would laugh. He knew her sadness, and it sucked.

Dakota laughed a bit at Felix's joke. "It feels more comfortable," she said. She joked back, "But a lovely lady like you should bow to a king like me." She bowed using a British accent.

"Tell me about it." Felix smiled and looked out the window. "He means a lot to you doesn't he?"

She looked the other way for a bit and turned back. "He is my only, and first friend." She sighed, "It's hard to talk about though."

"Well I see where I lie!" He jokingly said. "Nah. I'm kidding." Felix still looked out the window. "How long have you been here?"

"Pff. I've been here...what a day? I'm never gonna start counting." Felix laughed. "When did you leave your family? If you don't mind me asking, I know it's touchy for some people." Felix regretted the question as soon as it left his mouth. "Actually, don't answer that, I don't need to know."

"Who's there?" Felix said approaching the door. "Say 'the pizza man', I dare you." Felix said quietly to himself joking.

"Oh hey buddy!" Felix said sarcastically. 'What the hell do you want?" Felix stepped in his way to block him from entering the room.

"Oh," Xerxes said, "I came to see Freak-O." Dakota looked at Xerxes like 'What the heck man?'. There was something up. Why would Xerxes want to see Christian. "Listen," said Dakota firmly, "You better not touch him or anyone. He hates you, and so do we. You are lucky I am letting you do this."

"Dang it," Dakota said, throwing a couple of cuss words here and there. She sat down beside Christian and whispered, "I will be here when you wake up." She held his motionless hand.

Felix grabbed the boy's shoulder, "alright, looks like he's not awake, time to go." Felix pulled him toward the door.

"Removing the problem." Felix said pointing to the rude boy from before. "Christian isn't awake, so this one doesn't need to be here."
