Realistic or Modern Home for Unwanted Magical Children

"I do," Dakota said softly. "I was just talking to Felix to make sure he was not scared or anything because I hate when people freak out on me and I can't do a single thing." She said, "Sorry. I am super sorry. Just some memories jogged into my mind. My small and uncreative mind." She hugged Christian, "Please don't hate me."

"I don't..." He Kissed her. "I was just scared... And your mind is creative..." He got up. "Lets go see him, okay?"

"Okay," Dakota said. She got up and opened the door. "I am going to see where he is," she said. She turned on her app on her phone and say Felix headed towards his room. "Follow me," she said to Christian trying to not sound bossy and demanding. She walked out the door and hit the elevator button.

"Me too," she said. Dakota hugged back. The elevator doors closed and the elevator moved. Finally, they made it to the bottom of the building. The doors opened and she stepped outside the elevator.

Hands in his pockets and his music blaring, Felix made his way through the halls quickly and trying to keep an emotionless look on his face. Flashbacks fazed him but never penetrated his emotions. He just wanted to get back to his room and be alone, where he felt he was most helpful to the world. He could not control this sudden depression that washed over him.

Dakota navigated the halls, holding Christian's cold hand. "Your hands cold," she noted. "Is there something wrong?" She turned a corner, soon spotting a teenage boy with brown hair, "Hey," she said welcoming to Felix.

She waved at Felix, "You looked a little worried and we wanted to tell you it is time for dinner." Dakota turned to Christian, "They just feel cold." She looked at Felix again, "You can sit with me and Christian, but I most of the time sit alone so it will be new for me to sit with two people and my brother Xerxes sits at the popular people table which never has a seat open, so don't even try. He and his friends are jerks."

Felix laughed. "Deal. Let me just get dressed first. Be right back!" He gave a thumbs up as his body disappeared then reappeared in his room.

Felix dressed in a black sweatshirt and black jeans along with his boots. He transported back. "Helloooo!" He said kindly waving.

Dakota said, "Nice outfit." She was not the clothing person but she liked jeans and sweatshirts. She also liked dark clothing. She itched her head then put her arm around Christian.

"Thanks." Felix walked past them. "I'm starving." he put his hands in his pockets and looked around. "Food..." He thought.

Dakota lead them through the hallways to the the meal room. "I read the notice and today for dinner is roast chicken and mixed vegetables." She opened the door, seeing Xerxes at his already full table. Xerxes pointed out Christian and screamed, "Hey look its Freak-o! And he brought my loser sister!"

"That's not nice." His eyes narrowed at the rude boy. "I'm watching you kid." He said to himself cracking his fingers with one hand. "Let's go not that way." He pushed Dakota and her friend another way.

Christian sighed, and pointed to the guy that he had tormented before. "I can make you like him..." He said. "You can say whatever you want about me... But to talk to your own flesh and blood..."

Dakota felt the slight push from Felix. Xerxes saw Felix get in his face, "What you want loser? It's not my fault you hang out with loser sister and freak show over there!"

One of Xerxes friend's stood up, "Hey everyone! Look who thinks they can threaten me!" He laughed in Christian's face. Dakota walked up to the gang, "Your a bunch of jerks. Mostly you," she pointed to the one that said that.

"I don't ever threaten..." He put his hand on Xerxes head. "I...have more power than you can imagine..." He went into his mind, ripping and breaking some memories, and replaced them with pain. The man was powerless, and unable to scream...
