Professor Witten raised an Eyebrow as one of the first years came up to her and started to ramble. “ Professor Witten. Headmistress here at Hogwarts. “ She said with a smile as she watched the kids come on to the shore. She watched as one of the other first years came up and fainted. “ Thank you. We will get her to the infirmary as soon as we can. Would you like to go with her? I do warn you may miss the feast and have to be sorted later. “ She said as one of the other teachers, who had been at the door came down and picked up Abigail, and started the castle, waiting for the girl’s response.

"Of course! A friend in need is a friend indeed! It was a pleasure to meet you!" she said as she headed towards the castle entrance with the teacher that was holding Abigail. "I hope Abigail's okay. I wouldn't want her to keep doing that, since there's bound to be a bunch more new stuff coming her way." she wondered out loud to Pru as they went towards the infirmary.

Madison entered the building, her robes covered the scars on her arms but not the ones on her face. She knew she couldn't be friends with them, they were first years, they wouldn't understand and she could seriously hurt them. She decided that she would have to avoid them, it is for the best, she thought with a sad sigh as she followed the crowd.

Rosetta walked along with everyone else, she didn't really have anyone to talk too. She sighed simply changing her hair color, from its natural red to a chocolate brown, purple then black, blonde, pink, blue, and back to red.

Olivia walked ahead, she saw one of them faint and she knew the professors would take care of that. She had her nose in a book as she followed the crowd.

Dawn was so excited, she couldn't wait. She walked with the crowd and as she smiled and looked around she realized that she didn't have any friends yet. I hope I make some friends, or else I'll be alone like at home, she thought, remembering her old school where she had no friends.

Astra walked ahead of everyone, once she made it to the Main hall and she sat down at the Slytherin table, and waited for the feast and sorting to start.

Astra stood tall above the first years, as the head girl she knew she was to help guide the first years into the main hall, "Come on, First years. Follow me" she said sweetly, signaling to the Main hall as she walked to it.

(First years are just now coming out of the boats and are about to be lead to the great hall by Professor Witten. Everyone else is heading towards the great hall if not already there. )

Marie gave Riley a bright smile and waved as they went their separate ways. As entered the Hogwarts Marie couldn't help but feel a little nostalgic, Hogwarts being such a big part of her life. Marie laughed at Leo's joke, "Of course, the two great beauties in my life: Hogwarts and you." She nodded as he mentioned the new Gryffindors, she had the same hope for her Hufflepuffs. "I hope so too, the sorting is always nerve wracking, but they'll quickly get over their nerves." She smiled as they entered the Great Hall, it always felt great to see it again.

Charlie smiled at her friends as the carriage finally rolled to as stop. Elizabeth was the first one off. "I'm glad to be back," she said as she too jumped out, Pantera following close behind. "I'll see you guys inside," she called back to the boys before taking off into the castle. Upon entering the castle Pantera took off towards the dungeons while Charlie made her way into the great hall. Seeing her head of house already present she straightened her back as she made her way to the Slytherin house table and sat.

Katherine sat at her own table quietly by herself while reading a book quietly as she \had been waiting awhile for everyone to show up. Once the main doors opened she smiled and looked up to see the large crowd of first-year students. Closing her book she smiled and waved welcoming her fellow HufflePuff members to their house table as well as any students who found interest in sitting at their table. As she stood, her fire-bellied toad sat on top of her head and croaked in excitement as well!

He quietly sat on his throat where the rest of the staff would soon be accompanying him in the annual sorting tradition. However, he sat quietly as he watched the new students begin to enter as well as the older students. Despite having only been working at Hogwarts, students had managed to find him almost as a threat, however, there were some students who understood his attitude and seemed to enjoy his company as they felt safe knowing that their professor wouldn't let anything hurt any of them. As he continued to sit there, the four ghosts floated from the walls and roof and did their typical stunts to attempt to amuse and impress the new students. That always somehow managed to find a new and even more impressive stunt than the year before and it was never the same stunt done twice.

As the first years were getting escorted from their boats, everyone else was made their way to the Great Hall. Leo followed Marie and the rest of the crowd while his luggage was being put up. They entered room, and it was decorated just as beautifully as it'd been the previous years. Leo took a second to take in the awe of it all. He was back, he was officially back. Marie agreed with him about the Gryffindors, mentioning the same about Hufflepuffs. He smiled when she also mentioned his beauty. "True, I am beautiful." He joked again. "This talk was fun, thanks for letting me tag along with you, but I'm going to go sit at the Gryffindor table. Hopefully I'll see you after sorting and everything's over with." Leo added. He looked over to the other Gryffindors and could see their table filling up already with 2nd-7th years. Now, they just had to wait for the first years to arrive so they could be sorted.

Professor Witten watched them as they walked away. “ For those of you remaining, let’s begin shall we. “ She said as she lead the way into the hall. Once there, she looked at them. “ I will lead you into the hall. Once there you will be sorted into your house. Your house is your family. You will sleep, study, and have classes with these people. They will be your team. Once your house is called out than please go to that table and enjoy the feast. “ She said before leading the way into the hall.

Henry looked at Norella as the headmaster spoke. He reached for her hand this time, gently squeezing her seeing the look in her eye. It was the look he always got when he felt like he was going to be sick. He noticed the girl pass out and two students go up to the castle with her. He than saw professor Witten lead them towards the castle. “ Ready?” He asked Norella as he followed the other first years to the castle. They stopped right outside of what seemed to be the great hall as Professor Witten gave instructions.

Riley nodded as she entered the great hall and sat at the Ravenclaw table near the back, just wanting to get to the dorms so she could start classes quicker.

Elizabeth smiled as Charlie started off. She looked at Threlm with a smile. “ Come on. We’ll be late if we don’t hurry, and mind you i’m not missing my sisters sorting, “ She said as she picked up her stuff, looking at him.

Norella gripped Henry's hand back and she nodded before walking beside him. "Yeah,my nervousness just caught up with me but I'm okay now." She listened to the headmistress as she explained what would happen as instructions were given but she just stared straight ahead at the doors that would lead them to a new life and new friends. "Are you ready to be sorted into the houses?" She wasn't really sure if she was but there was no turning back now,well there probably was but she didn't want to be kicked out or anything and disappoint her mother.

"See you around." Marie said with a wave at Leo. She then slipped into a spot at the rapidly filling Hufflepuff table. She was excited for the sorting, like every year. Marie remembered her own sorting with a fond smile, she had been terrified. Hufflepuff was a great house and quickly welcomed her. The house sometimes was looked down upon, but she was always proud of her house. She would quickly assure all the first years that being a Hufflepuff was a great thing. With a small sigh, she looked down at her prefect's badge, she had some doubts about her ability to be a prefect. Shaking her head to shake the thoughts away she focused on the situation around her. Dwelling on her doubts won't do her any good, besides, she would do her best.

She continued to sit at her table and hummed softly as she watched all of the other students who had managed to make it thus far. Not that it was a challenge, though rumor has it not every witch or wizard who is invited shows up from the anxiety of being invited to one of the best and most well-known schools in the world. Though, that was just a rumor.


As she continued to sit at her table she smiled brightly as their house table began to fill so quickly. It was good to have all her fellow house members back from their winter break. It was usually so lonely during that time since she typically stayed at Hogwarts since she didn't have a home to return to and all. However, eventually she'd have to go out and find a home for herself unless Hogwarts would allow her to live there for the rest of her life while she took care of the school as much as she could while the other staff and students had left. It wouldn't be an easy job, but it would be worth it. After all, Katherine, like all purebloods, doesn't fit in the muggle world; not because of the common hatred purebloods tend to show towards muggles, Hell, she could care less. A person was a person and everyone deserves a chance to show if their loyal and trustworthy as a friend.


When she managed to come back to reality she looked around for someone to talk to or interact with. She wasn't popular, however, her house always made her feel comfortable and accepted the most.

For all three of you, @ThatGuyWithSouvlaki and @Greekgeek1213 ,I will be the nurse tho there's not much for them to reply to until Abigail replies. I mena they could send you guys to the sorting but that's about it. ))


Professor Witten Smiled. “ I shall go get the hat. When i call you Name, come forward and be sorted. Than go sit at your house table. “ She said before leading them into the Great Hall where older students where.

Henry looked at Norella and smiled as said she was okay. He was glad. He looked forward at the Headmaster as she spoke. When she asked if he was ready to be sorted he shook his head. “ Not one bit. “ He said. He knew that they could end up in different houses. If they did, he wasn’t sure what he was going to do. He looked up as Proffessor Witten lead them into the Great Hall. He felt his stomach turn as the eyes of the older students came down upon him.

Elizabeth Dragged Threlm into the Great hall just as the First years came into the hall. She frowned as she didn’t see Pru there. Where the hell is my sister? She thought.

Daniel came in and sat at the Gryffindor table waiting for the sorting to begin.


Riley heard the doors open, and Professor Witten’s voice as she looked up at the front, as Professor Witten went to go get the hat. She remembered her own sorting, and couldn’t help but smile.

Professor Witten placed the old hat on the stool. After a few moments, the hat began to speak. Well, Sing was the correct term.

The hat paused for a moment before continuing.

Sorted so many that i’ve lost count

Even Professor Witten’s worn the hood”


The Headmaster looked at THe hat, though the had didn’t care as it continued.


“ So put me on


Don’t be shy


Don’t try to hide any thoughts from me


For i can see everything inside your mind


I’ll sort you to your home to be


Where you can make friends


Enemies too


Fill your brains to the brim with knowledge


So put me on


And let me sort


For i am the Sorting hat!!!!”


The hat finished it’s last lines bellowing the last three syllables.

Keir was to the back of the students, grabbing at his school robes and fidgeting with the wand in his pocket, it was the only thing he could do to keep how excited he was in check so he didn't start bouncing of the walls. He looked around at the other students and wondered how many of them he would get to know closely over the next few years.

Norella smiled and she looked up at Henry before looking ahead again. "I'm not either." She saw Professor Witten open the doors and she squeezed Henry's hand before following the Headmistress. She noticed Henry get nervous and she squeezed his hand again but looked at him out of the corner of her eye. "It's okay, just focus on me until they call your name." Norella then smiled and properly looked up at Henry before looking ahead add the Sorting Hat finished its song.
