"Really?" Scipio raised an eyebrow at Charlotte's sudden statement, "I'm sure we've all moved past that age of arranged marriages... At least, for the muggles." Surely, there was a clear divide between the wizardlings and the muggle's customs. Out in the muggle world, they had the technology to aid them, but out in the wizarding world? They were somehow stuck in a victorian era. Though, he wouldn't complain. The sight was still beautiful even though he had spent 6 years looking at the same old building.

Threlm then stepped onto the carriage and helped Elizabeth onto it and sat down. "Welll as against that as I am whos to say the person is unlikable? Who is it before we start making up stuff about the other person." Threlm said in a light tone of voice trying to ease the mood with a laugh.

Looking to Scipio she sighed. "My father is an purest so he's dead set on me marring a pureblooded wizard, sadly in the magical world arranged marriage is still quite popular," she told him. She then looked to Threlm, "I'm not entirely sure as of yet, father refuses to tell me until year end," she said her voice becoming distant.


Just the thought of her parents planning her life for her almost brought tears to her eyes. She would be of age soon though and then she could make her own way. If she could get out of this marriage proposal that is.

"Should we offer our amazing skills to beat up said person?" Scipio chimed in, "I mean, we are pretty effective as a team." For the entirety of his time spent with Charlotte, he had never once seen her this sad. This was what disturbed him most; the situation was very serious. "Honestly, the entire Quidditch team has your back, just ring us up and we'll send our wands towards the fella," He cracked a grin at Charlotte, trying to lighten up the situation too.

Giving Scipio a smile she pushed the marriage to the back of her mind. "Thank you," she said to her friends. Then she snapped to attention she reached into her robe pocket. "I almost forgot, I got you guys something when I picked up my supplies for this year," she said quickly. She pulled three necklaces out of her pocket. She took a second to untangle them before handing them out. For Elizabeth the charm was a golden quaffle, for Threlm it was a silver beaters bat, and for Scipio it was a silver broom. "I got one for myself too," she told them pulling the chain around her neck to reveal a golden bludger. "I thought it might help boost team morale," she joked her usual smile in place, as the carriage jetted into motion.

"I swear, by our graduation, I will die from niceness," Scipio mumbled under his breath, still not used to nice gestures. "Thank you, Charlie," He offered her a smile as he took his charm and fiddled around with it. "Hey, that means double the training for real now." He stuck out a tongue at his teammates before wearing the necklace, "We're getting that House Cup this year, no Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, nor Ravenclaw will stop us now!"

Threlm laughed and grabbed his with a smile. "Thank you. And I wouldn't mind extra training that sounds like fun." Threlm chuckled sticking his tongue out at Charlie. He put his on and looked at it smiling the carriage would start to move forward at this point. "There is never stopping Slytherin we will beat them into the dust!" Threlm said loudly and full of pride. And laughed after he said it.

Having been days since she first played her Cello and the new arrivals had yet to arrived, She decided to sit and play. Her wand, as usual, had an Amplifying Charm on it as she played allowed the boats and carried both to hear her as she played.

Having to get ready as the students were closing in on the school, He didn't mind in the least. Though it did mean his break was over and he had to once again kick into a teacher mood. He walked through the hallway silently all except for the clicking of his shoes against the stone floor while the cello played peacefully in the background. Making his way into the main hall he sat at the front of the room where the other professors, counselors, and headmasters would be joining him.

Scipio laughed along with Threlm, dispelling the previous solemn mood between the 4 of them. The carriage had moved off long ago without Scipio realising it, he had been too caught up in their conversation to notice their carriage ride was almost over. "Alright, new year, new victims and new trouble await us at the castle so prominently called Hogwarts. Who wants to take a bet on the number of things that's going to go wrong this year?" Most of it was just sarcastic jesting, though true.

Charlie starting bouncing excitedly in her seat excitedly once the lovely castle came into view. Hearing Threlm mention beating the other quidditch teams teams into dust she gave a loud whoop. She was determined to do her best this year as she knew the pro scouts would be looking for the best players.


Scipio's comment of new victims caused a multitude of pranks ran through her mind. This would be the year she would beat the others at the prank war that usually landed one of them in the hospital wing. Laughing at the memory of last year's mishap that had her turning into a walking mood ring for three weeks. She still hadn't figured out who had caused that one. "I bet at least one first year is going to get stuck in the vanishing stair," she said while laughing.

Margret, as she sat in the moving boat with Pru and Abigail, heard the wonderful cello playing that seemed to come from inside the large castle. "Wow, the cello playing is so pretty!~" she exclaimed as she swayed with the music, but was careful enough to not move the boat side to side, in fear that it would topple over. As the castle grew closer and closer, Margret grew more and more excited. "Oh my gosh, we're almost there! xD "

Just as she managed to play the first Suite she was directed down to the main hall, the students would be arriving any second now. Never had she moved quicker as she first grabbed her wand and canceled the spell before slipping it down her sleeve. Next, was the putting away of her Cello and it's case. After she was done with that, Katherine ran from her common room and into the main hall where she hoped she wasn't late. Upon entering, she made a direct bee-line to the front of her table as she enjoyed watching the first years get sorted into their new homes.

Sat in his black side-throne and waited and watched as the first student entered the main Hall, Katherine Burke. She was indeed a special soul that had yet to find itself in the real world. Always a bit too shy or timid, however, he knew once she set her mind to something she was mentally, emotionally, and physically equipt to do anything. That he'd watched with his own eyes just the year before.

Leo chuckled, "Yeah, not like I don't spend enough time in there already." Not once did Riley speak a word to them, and Leo was tempted to start conversation with her. But, he found it very annoying when someone interrupted him from his studying, and he didn't want to be a hypocrite and so the same thing, so he left the girl alone. The carriages were pulling up to the castle, and Leo could hear soft Cello music being played. "Do you hear that?" But before he could finish his question, the music abruptly stopped. "I wonder how many students are already inside."

Elizabeth smiled when she and Threlm were welcome into the carriage. After she got up into the cart and had sat down, she Noticed that Pantera was rubbing up against her She reached down and pet the cat while she listened to the conversation. THough she Looked up Hearing Charlie mention an arranged marriage.


“ Well that’s rather dumb. An arranged marriage?” SHe muttered in disbelief. She often forgot that many pureblood families were still old fashioned.


“ Who Could he possibly have you marry? Very few pureblood wizards are out there” She said. She was very thankful that her parents were very kind people who don’t care who she marries as long as they were a good person. She came back into focus when Charlie said she wouldn’t know until the end of the year.


“ If you really need to I’m sure that you would be welcome at my house. Pru may be a little weary but my parents would probably be all for it. “ Elizabeth offered.


When Scipio mentioned that the entire Quidditch team had her back she nodded.” We got you. “ She said as Charlie pulled out something from her pocket. She smiled when Charlie gave them necklaces. “ Their Beautiful Charlie. “ She said as she put hers on.


She listened to the Conversation as it turned to pranks. “ One usually does. Typically a muggleborn student is the one to get stuck. “ She said as she saw the castle in sight and smiled, glad to be back. She heard a cello playing.


“That’s pretty. “ She commented.

Henry noticed Norella sitting closer to him, though he didn’t mind. He didn’t even really notice. The place was so pretty that he hadn’t been paying that much attention. When she spoke he looked at her. “ London is pretty. This place is beautiful” He said as she started to apologize for something. “ I’m fine. Just-t calmer. I t-think. “ He said. “ You’re fine. I mean i’m fine. I mean.. Yeah. It’s fine. “ He said stuttering over his words even more. “ I’m just nervous. “ He added. He realized how close she had sat to him, and couldn’t help but smile. Maybe this place wasn’t going to be awful, he thought as the castle appeared in sight and slowly got closer. In the distance he heard a cello playing.

Professor Witten waited by the water for first year to arrive. She saw them in the distance and smiled, glad that they were nearing.


Finally the first boats began to land, and the carriages began to stop.

She looked over at Henry and she smiled a little bit bigger and brighter. "I think that when we leave I will miss being here, it is just so pretty out here but you don't need to be so nervous around me, I'm just like you except I'm a girl." She laughed at what she said and she looked ahead again to see someone waiting on them as their boat came to the shore.

"I'm not sure, I wonder how they got here so early though. It is interesting that the music seems to play at anytime, whether it's the very beginning of school or breaks. It's really pretty though, I love listening to it." Marie got up and muttered a quick spell to levitate Sir Fluffaluff then jumped the short distance from the carriage to the ground. She took a moment to look at the castle, it always was so welcoming to see. Hogwarts was what showed her how different her life could be. A deep need to do great things filled her, as she looked at the place that had saved her from being mundane, she promised herself to make Hogwarts proud. "Gosh, is there anything more beautiful then seeing Hogwarts after the summer?" She turned to grinned at Leo, dispelling her heavier thoughts, and levitated her owl closer to her, but above the crowd so he won't get jostled. She waited for Leo, and Riley, to get off before entering Hogwarts.

Pru smiled and nodded at Margret feeling the same excitement as she did. "The music is so pretty, didn't expect that for a welcome."She commented as the reached the shoreline and were guided to step of. "Well here goes, we are finally here."She added suddenly hit me nerves.

Margret, at finally being on the shore and finally at Hogwarts, squealed with delight as she quickly got off the boat and helped Pru and Abigail out. She then happened on Professor Witten and practically skipped with excitement towards the teacher. "Hi! Uh, *ahem* sorry, I just got a little too excited there. Anyways, I'm Margret. What's your name, Mrs....?" she asked, wanting to know all of the teachers at the school in case she had any of their classes. She also knew that, since the teacher was out here with all of the other first years, that she would probably be the one to give them the tour of the school and to teach them about the building and classes and whatnot, and she would have to learn her name anyways, so why not now?

Abigail trailed nervously behind Margret. The brunette was close to a break down with all the new sights. Her breathing became labored and she broke out in a nervous sweat. Everything seemed to be a blur now. Through her hyperventilating, she had one thought. Friend. In her panic, she clung to Margret's arm and then passed out. Brilliant.

As Margret was talking to the professor, Abigail clung onto her arm, then passed out. "Woah there!" she exclaimed as she caught Abigail before her friend could fall to the ground. "Oh my gosh, are you okay?!" she asked the now unconscious girl as Margret placed her index and middle finger on Abigail's neck to try to feel for a pulse, then she hovered her hand over Abigail's mouth and nose, and found that she was still breathing. "Good, she's still breathing, and her breath's steady. She must have just been overstimulated with all of the new things." she then looked over to the professor. "Excuse me, can you show me to the infirmary? I need to take Abigail there, just to make sure she's fine."

The carriage came to a stop, and Leo took a good look at Hogwarts. Ahh, his home for the next year, it was truly magical. He lifted the cat cage from the carriage and hopped down, not even bothering with a levitation spell. Slivings let out a purr but didn't do much else other than that. "Anything more beautiful than Hogwarts? Well me of course." He joked as he followed Marie inside. The inside looked even better every year that he attended Hogwarts. All the first years looked so excited to be there, and Leo took a second to remember his first year there. It was filled with excitement mixed with anxiety and a small dosage of fear, the was quickly overcome with more excitement. Of course, now Leo was used to this all, so the anxious feeling wasn't there anymore, but he definitely felt excited. "Hopefully the new Gryffindors aren't too nervous to be here." He mentioned.

Henry looked at Norella as she spoke about the cello. “I wish i could play an instrument. “ He said as she smiled at him. He couldn’t help but smile back. Her smile was rather contagious. “ I already miss the place and the year hasn’t started. “ he said, trying to make a joke as he saw the teacher standing there. “ I k-know that. I’m just nervous about the sorting and the well everything else. “ He said as their boat landed with a soft thud against the shore.

Professor Witten raised an Eyebrow as one of the first years came up to her and started to ramble. “ Professor Witten. Headmistress here at Hogwarts. “ She said with a smile as she watched the kids come on to the shore. She watched as one of the other first years came up and fainted. “ Thank you. We will get her to the infirmary as soon as we can. Would you like to go with her? I do warn you may miss the feast and have to be sorted later. “ She said as one of the other teachers, who had been at the door came down and picked up Abigail, and started the castle, waiting for the girl’s response.


Professor Witten looked at the other first years. “ Welcome to Hogwarts. “ SHe said. “ Once we are all sorted out i shall lead you to the great hall and properly welcome you to the school. “ SHe added.

Daniel climbed out if his carriage and started towards the castle, smiling the whole way, glad to be back. He had missed the crisp clean air that came with the grounds, as well as the students. He had missed it all.

Riley looked up realizing they had stopped. She quickly gathered her stuff, before looking at the two who had ridden with her. “ Thank you for allowing me to read in peace. “ She said to them before nodding and starting to make the trek up towards the castle.

Pru couldn't help chuckle at Margarets over excitement, she almost wished that herself was confident enough to let loose like that. She went to greet the doctor as well before noticing Abigail fall unconscious."Hey... Is she alright?"She asked with concern as Margaret leaned down to check on it and breathed out a sigh of relief that Abigail seemed OK. "Let me help take her..."She went to offer but the teachers got to her first. "Well... I will come with."

Norella climbed out of the boat when it landed and she stepped on door only to be met with her stomach turning in nervousness. She looked headmistress that was adding all of the first years and she payed attention to what she was saying. The girl that had passed out didn't go unnoticed but she was trying not to throw up what she had for breakfast but her stomach was staying to turn less now that she was calling down a little. I wonder what house me and Henry will be sorted into, I'm hoping it's the same one but if not then we'll stay friends and she each other throughout the school year.

"And we'll be ready to laugh at them when it comes," Scipio added to Charlotte's point with a chuckle. He was so immersed in their little conversation that he failed to notice their carriages slowing down to a halt until Elizabeth had thanked them for letting her join. "No problem," Scipio shrugged before he disembarked from the carriage and waited patiently for the others to do so.
