Alexander wrote for hours on end. He had so much to write down. One thought blurred into the next. When he stopped, Eliza was fast asleep. He smiled, standing up. She looked dos peaceful. "Hey..." He whispered, stroking her hair lightly. Hamilton sat in the edge of the bed, looking down at her affectionately. "What did I do to deserve you? I don't have a dollar to my name, a house of my own, a future to foresee, a dollop of shame.... All I have's my honor; a tolerance for pain, a couple of high school credits, and a top notch brain." Alexander laughed bitterly, tears in his eyes. "Insane! You bring out a different side of me... You confide in me... My love for you is never in doubt. I'll get us a little place in the city and we'll figure it out. I've been living without a family since I was a child. My father left. My mother died. I swear to god you'll never be helpless."

Eliza slept soundly while her boyfriend spoke to her. She opened her eyes and saw him. She kissed him gently and smiled. "You finished writing?"

Alexander smiled gently. "Never, my love. But for now, I suppose I am." He climbed into bed next to her and kissed her cheek. "Good night, Eliza."

She kissed his forehead. "I love you Alexander Hamilton." She snuggled with him and fell asleep. She had nightmares about her dad's yelling.

Alexander couldn't sleep. His stomach was in knots over Maria Reynolds. She ruined him. He was being blackmailed. He had a child on the way and he was being blackmailed. He held Eliza close to his heart, scared to death that he'd lose her in this ideal.

Angelica was finally home. She was exhausted. She spent the day with John Church, which inevitably ended in a fight. He could just be so dense sometimes. He refused to acknowledge band was equally important as mathematics and it infuriated her. She came through the front door to see her father in his office with his head in his hands. She approached cautiously. "Is something wrong father?" She asked, sliding her backpack off her shoulder.

Phillip Schuyler looked up at Angelica. "wrong? That half-breed lowlife Eliza insists on dating has gotten my daughter pregnant! Then he has the gall to threaten me!" Phillip Schuyler slammed his fist on his desk. "That girl... She's one hell of a pain in my ass." @Dont hate me

Angelica was speechless. ELIZA IS PREGNANT?!?? She didn't know what to say. Her face was white with fear, not only for her fathers well being but Eliza's as well. "Um- uh-" Angelica stuttered "I'll go talk to her..." She bolted up the stairs to find Eliza and barged into her room. She saw Eliza and Alex in the room together. Kissing. Anger boiled in her chest. She wanted so badly to go in and scream at them and their stupidity, but she knew it would do no good. She needed to take a break from it all. She closed the door and went to Peggy's room, looking for a drama free zone where she can just vent about Church, Eliza, and Alex. She knocked on the door hesitantly, hoping Lafayette wasn't in there. @Paint The Wind@Alexander Hamilton

Peggy sat up on her bed. She was in the process of making a chainmail vest out of paper clips. "Who's there?" She asked.

Angelica ignored her younger sister, she just didn't want to have to deal with a pregnant sister right now. She needed some normalcy. She knocked harder on Peggy's door praying she would open up and save her from Eliza's excuses.
"It's Angelica. Lafayette isn't in there is he?"
