Alexander only nodded, picking up his bag and walking out of the room. He felt his stomach in knots, tears still in his eyes. What the hell is he going to do? In the eye of the hurricane. He thought, his eyes glued on the ground.

If it did go as expected, things were only going to get more exciting. This would destroy Hamilton! "We just have to watch him leave the eye of the hurricane." He grinned.

I'll write my way out... Hamilton decided. Overwhelm them with honesty... Hamilton walked out of the school, his feet carrying him back to his foster home. He went up to his room and shut the door. He sat at his desk and started writing down everything. Every detail, every word, every moment of the hours he'd spent working his ass off to pay Reynolds. Everything.

"I didn't expect him to admit it though." He whispered back. Thomas smiled, "We did it Burr! Hamilton doesn't stand a chance!" he said, and smiled. To be honest, Thomas wasn't sure if Hamilton was ruined yet. "Burr, as long as Hamilton can hold a pen, he's a threat." He said, and sighed. There was no way Hamilton could come back from this, no way! Right..? RIGHT?!?

"I didn't expect him to admit it though." He whispered back. Thomas smiled, "We did it Burr! Hamilton doesn't stand a chance!" he said, and smiled. To be honest, Thomas wasn't sure if Hamilton was ruined yet. "Burr, as long as Hamilton can hold a pen, he's a threat." He said, and sighed. There was no way Hamilton could come back from this, no way! Right..? RIGHT?!? 

"You're right. He is a threat." Burr paused. "Oh God, what if he tries apologizing?! That's going to ruin everything. He knows how to write. He can charm anyone with a pen." Burr muttered. "Eliza will still be pissed though. It won't be a total loss, right?"

Burr took the tissues and put one up to his nose. "Thank you." Burr paused. "Yea, he got a good hit. But it was really the only hit he got on me. I got way more. I just hope I win when we continue the fight..." Burr muttered. "Hamilton was fucking frightening though. Every single time I hit him, he fucking smiled. It was creepy." Burr laughed.

"Maybe he enjoyed it. Hell, it's Hamilton, you never know." He joked. "Where did you hit him?" Thomas asked. He really wanted to hit Hamilton himself, but with the cane and his foot, there's no way, at least to him that he could do it himself, so hearing Burr do it was the next best thing.

"Punched him in the chest a couple of times and then I pushed him against a wall. That was when he punched me." Burr laughed. "Unimpressed? Don't worry, the real fights going to happen soon. Hamilton has a lot coming to him"

His face became dead serious a few moments later. "Thomas. I don't know what the hell Hamilton has up his sleeve. I just want you to promise me one thing." He began. "If anything happens to me. Anything at all. I went you to tell Theodosia..." He paused. "I want you to tell her, that I said she is great. Tell her I said that she is the most amazing person I've ever met. Can you do that for me, Thomas?" He asked, his serious tone getting stronger with every word.

Thomas turned to face Burr, and nodded when he mentioned Theodosia. "Burr, of course." He said, and patted him on the back. "That won't happen though, At least.. It better not happen." He sighed, He really didn't want Burr to talk like that even if it was precautionary, not now. "Let's not talk about that... But, I will tell Theodosia IF anything were to happen." He mumbled.

Not so much because he didn't want to hurt Hamilton, but because he didn't want to leave Theododia behind. Although he was frightened, he wasn't going to back down. He was going to do whatever it took to stay with Theodosia. "Hamilton freaks me out. He faces a constant uphill climb. He has something to prove and he has nothing to lose. He'll do whatever it takes to stay alive. He won't stop the fight until I injure him badly." Burr muttered.

"He's an interesting figure alright.." Thomas mumbled. "Burr, don't get scared now." He joked, "You can beat Hamilton, I told you could so its true." Thomas was trying to reassure Burr.  He wasn't sure what sure what to say, not because he didn't know the situation, he just never experienced it. "Don't think about that, think about Theodosia and the fight at hand, not to mention your presidential campaign." Thomas joked.

Eliza was having an awful day so she went home. "Hey dad." she said despondently, running up to her bedroom so she wouldn't have to talk to him. Her relationship with her father had changed drastically.
