"Oh. That's a brilliant idea. Let's go!" He jumped out of his seat and ran into the hallway. He was jittery. He couldn't hold back his excitement.


He ran into the band room, that's where he saw Hamilton last. Sure enough, he was there. "Hello, Alexander." Burr had a giant mischievous grin on his face, it wasn't hard to miss. "Thomas and I have something to tell you. He should be in, any second now." Burr looked out into the hallway, he couldn't tell if Thomas was coming or not. "It's an interesting topic. I think you'll love it!"

"Oh. That's a brilliant idea. Let's go!" He jumped out of his seat and ran into the hallway. He was jittery. He couldn't hold back his excitement.


He ran into the band room, that's where he saw Hamilton last. Sure enough, he was there. "Hello, Alexander." Burr had a giant mischievous grin on his face, it wasn't hard to miss. "Thomas and I have something to tell you. He should be in, any second now." Burr looked out into the hallway, he couldn't tell if Thomas was coming or not. "It's an interesting topic. I think you'll love it!"

"Burr-" Thomas sighed, he wanted to get some little plan formed they just ran off.


Thomas walked in and found Burr, and set the notebook down in front of Hamilton. "I have several check stubs and photos of you and Reynolds meeting." He said simply. "You were paying him. Most likely with money that wasn't yours. The total was at least according to my math, would reach close to a thousand dollars. I hope you saved some money for Eliza and your son, you best go run back where ya come from." He finished and opened the notebook to the pages about his findings, and slammed it.

Alexander laughed at Burr. "Sounds fun." He said emotionlessly. Then Thomas came in, talking about Alexander's paying off Reynolds. Alexander's face paled more than it already had from exhaustion. "Ha!" Alexander finally barked. "You don't even know what you're asking me to confess!" Alexander stood up. "You know nothing! I don't have to tell you anything at all! Unless..." Alexander looked at Burr with pure hatred. "If I can prove that I never broke a law, do you promise not to tell another soul what you saw?!"

Burr smiled. This was all amusing. He wanted Alex to confess to sleeping with Maria, this was a good way to do it. "No one else was in the room where it happened." Burr said.

"I've kept a record of every check in my history, check it again against your list, you'll see consistency. I never spent a cent that wasn't mine." Alexander then looked at Burr with a injury and hatred on his face. "you sent the dogs after my scent? That's FINE!" Alexander slammed his hand on his desk, tears in his eyes. "YES! I have reason for shame! But I haven't done anything illegal! As you can see, I've done nothing to provoke legal action! Are my answers to your satisfaction?" A tear fell down his cheek, as he looked between the two.

Thomas took his notebook and checked the list in the folder, the list was a match with his. "My god.." He muttered and looked back at Hamilton. "Burr.. Let's go." He said and looked over at Burr, before taking his notebook, and waited for Burr's response.
