Fandom Hamilton AU - Additional IC

"I love you more." Alexander said to her as they walked to class. He suppressed the thought of Maria, of his betrayal.

"Not possible!" Eliza sat down and patted the seat next to her, which also happened to be next to Maria. There were no other seats nearby.

 

[Mad_Hatter]

Alexander let out a small sigh. Of course this had to be the only seat near Eliza. Alexander sat and made sure to turn his back to Maria. "I will never find anyone as trusting or as kind." Alexander said softly, pecking Eliza's cheek.

"Burr, if you're sure, then okay." Thomas was out of it a bit, "What did I do..? I looked over some of the pages James wrote.. and barely slept." He answered and then yawned, "What about you?"

Eliza smiled and kissed him passionately, throwing her arms around him in a tight hug.


Maria looked Hamilton up and down.

Alexander laughed and kissed her back, just as passionately. "We should probably finish this after school." He whispered against her lips.

Eliza giggled and nodded. She went back to work on her paper. 


Maria looked at Hamilton out of the corner of her eye and wrote on a slip of paper "Why didn't you come back last night?"

Alexander looked at the note and ripped it in half, pocketing it and sending her a glare. He'd give her a piece of his mind later. He looked over at Eliza and smiled. "What's your paper on?"

She saw his glare and frowned. She looked down and blinked away tears. He hated her and she knew it. She wouldn't have anywhere to go after her brother hurt her.


"I couldn't tell you if I tried. I wish I had your writing skills."

Alexander smiled. "I could help you?" He offered, looking over her writing quickly.

Eliza nodded. "I'm gonna go pee first." She got up and went to the bathroom.


Maria looked at him. "Alex why are you so mad at me?" she said sadly.

Alexander took a deep breath. "Because you manipulated me into sleeping with you with a sob story. You knew I had a girlfriend." Alexander hissed.

"You started it! You saw the bruises! You were the one who kissed my neck. You started it." she said. "I was telling the truth."

 

[Mad_Hatter]

"You knew I was vulnerable. You took advantage of that!" Alexander hissed. "I don't believe you."

 

[Paint The Wind]

"You saw the bruises! My brother beats me and raped me and you don't believe me!?" she hissed, tears falling down her face.

 

[Mad_Hatter]

"And why haven't you told any authorities about it, huh?" Alexander pointed out. "If he's doing this to you, why haven't you said something?"

 

[Paint The Wind]

"Because he moniters my phone. If I send a text he knows what it said and who it was to. If I make a call he knows who it was to. He threatened my life. If I tell the police he'll shoot me." She buried her face in her hands and sobbed. Her shirt rode up and some of her bruises were visible.

Alexander groaned and held his head in his hands. "Tell the police he said that. They'll protect you." he muttered. "Use someone else's phone. Hell, use a pay phone. Or walk down to the police department."

"I'm scared…" she whispered. She got up and left, knowing she had lost her only friend. She passed Jefferson on the way out.

Thomas watched Maria go by, he knew he shouldn't follow after her, he knew it would only lead to trouble, but he was curious.. "Maria?" He asked, What are you doing Thomas! He thought to himself.

Maria wiped her tears away. "What do you want?" Normally she would have been more defensive but she had given up.

"You walked past me crying, I thought I should at least check on you." He replied, Thomas, don't forget this is the girl that manipulated Hamilton.. He shook his head. "What happened?"

She looked down and off to the side. "You wouldn't believe me even if I did tell you. You'd call me a whore, or say I was manipulative and lied. You don't really care if I'm okay anyway, neither does anyone else." Tears streamed down her face and she sobbed softly. She felt so alone.

Thomas sighed, "You can't assume I just won't believe you. Trust me, I've heard crazy things and lived through them. You can tell me." Thomas said, he still thought he was walking into a trap, but he could atleast see the trap if he was careful, he just had to listen.
