Hamilton woke on Burr's couch. He groaned, rubbing his eyes. "Shit." He muttered to himself. This is embarrassing. He pulled out a teeshirt from his backpack and changed, trying to act like nothing was wrong. @ChronosCoded

Burr had woken up before Alex. But as he left he saw Alex wake up. "Come on man!" Burr sprinted out of the place, wanting to get to school as fast as possible


When he finally reached the school he saw Thomas waiting by the door. Most likely for him. "Hey man. I think I got Hamilton on your side." Burr said with a smile.

Hamilton sprinted after Burr, but he was kind of half asleep and tripped on the concrete. He gave a long sigh and stood up, walking the rest of the way to school. Hamilton arrived at school soon after burr and raised an eyebrow at Jefferson.

Thomas's eyes widened, "Your kidd-" He cut himself off as he saw Hamilton. "Hey, this for you." He said, and reached out the phone to Hamilton. "It's from Burr, but he wanted me to give it to you."

Thomas one hand in his pocket, the other on his cane. "Guess you got a good friend in Burr." He said, still confused by the whole situation.

Eliza looked around for her sister and saw Hamilton. She smiled and ran up to him, hugging him tightly. "I'm so happy you're okay! I thought you had gotten hurt when you didn't answer any of my calls yesterday." she said, kissing him gently and smiling joyfully.

Hamilton nodded. He didn't understand why Burr would do that. It's the kind of self-sacrificing shit that Hamiltkn would never do. Then Eliza runs up to him and hugs him and Alexander grins, planting a kiss on the tip of her nose. "Hey Eliza!" He greeted her joyfully. @Camilton  @Paint The Wind

Eliza giggled when he kissed her nose. It made her so happy. She kissed him gently. "I missed you." She hugged him tightly and nuzzled his chest. She loved Hamilton with all her heart.

"I missed you too." Hamilton holds her against him as tightly as he can, resting his chin on her forehead. All thoughts of Maria Reynolds were far out of his mind.

She just stayed there in his warm embrace for a while, snuggling close to him. She had been feeling lonely lately so she was a bit clingy. "I love you." she murmured.

"I love you too." Alexander whispered in her ear. He meant it. He made a mistake with Maria, but he still loved Eliza with all his heart. "How'd you sleep?"

"I slept okay. I was lonely without you so I was sad for a bit but I slept well. What about you?"

"I slept on Burr's couch." Hamilton laughed. "I don't really know what happened there."

"Alex why didn't you come stay with us? You know we have a spare room."

Alexander scrambled to find an answer. "I just didn't think of that." He whispered. "And what would your father think?"

"My father likes you, he would have let you stay as long as you weren't in the same room as me." She kissed him. "If you need somewhere to stay just tell me."

"I think I'll be okay now. My parents will be home tonight." Alexander kissed her back, smiling.

Thomas just looked over at Burr, and whispered to him, "Do they always do this..?" He looked back at them, and back at Burr. "I can pay you back for the phone." He whispered.

"Yes. They always do that." Burr replied in a nonchalant tone. "No man, it's okay, I don't need the money. It was only a few hundred bucks anyway." Burr whispered back. "What did you do last night, Thomas?" Burr asked, trying to make conversation.
