He glanced in the direction of Alexander's house. "AND ANYHOW, WHY DONT YOU LIKE THOMAS? YOU ALWAYS START THE FIGHTS!" He breathed. "AGAIN, I SLAPPED YOU BECAUSE I CARE IF YOURE WORKING YOURSELF TOO HARD." He stopped, realizing the points he was making were all jumbled up. That didn't matter though, he was pissed. Nevertheless he calmed down. "Can you please just answer the damn question? Or would you like me to go straight to Eliza and tell her my suspicions?" He asked.

Burr stared for a long moment. "How do you know that's not the seduction talking? Think about it. You didn't want to sleep with her. There must've been a way she pulled you into it." He backed away, ready for another wave of anger. Hopefully, Alexander would see sense in this situation and not flip out like he always did.

Alexander could relate to the abuse she was going through. Lots of foster homes had taught him that it's better to punch first than be punched first. "She said she needed me... that she was all alone..."
