She kissed his cheek and hummed softly to try and soothe him.
Alexander kissed her lips almost fiercely, feeling the compulsive need to shower her in love.
She was surprised but kissed back just as passionately, holding his hand.
Alexander broke the kiss when the need for air set in. Tears streamed down his cheeks. "I love you. I'll always love you."
"I love you too Alexander. If you do move away promise me you'll move on. I don't want you to be unhappy."
"I won't move on. I love you. Only you. For the rest of my life." Alexander said this softly, vulnerably.
"Shh. I want you to move on Alexander. I love you so much, but you can't spend your life thinking about me. I'm not worth it. You deserve happiness and to find someone who will love you as much as I do."
"I want you. I don't want to lose you. You are everything to me." Alexander whimpered.
Eliza kissed his hand. "I love you so much Alexander. I just want you to be happy, and I don't know if that can happen if you are with me."
"It can! I know it can!" Alexander cried.
She held his hand tightly. She began to cry. She didn't know if it really could.
Alexander sobbed hopelessly. He knew what was coming and he despised the that.
She held him gently. "You'll have to move on from me Alexander. I don't want you to be alone."
"I don't want to move on. I want you. I want to stay with you." he cried.
She kissed him gently and held him close, crying as well.
Alexander was shaking and sobbing as he held Eliza as tightly as he could. He didn't want to leave her but he didn't have a choice.
Eliza hugged him gently and cried softly.
Alexander kissed her forehead. He had started shaking, his skin had gone pale, his eyes were darting around frantically.
She could see his panic setting in and called a nurse.
The nurse came in and tried to calm Alexander down but he couldn't calm down. He was shaking and gasping for air, tears leaking out of his eyes. Over and over he mumbled Eliza's name. The nurse was at a loss.
"Alexander! I'm right here, please just focus on breathing."
Alexander was getting paler by the second. His eyes darted about hopelessly, searching for something, anything to help him make sense of the hurricane his life was in. "Eliza, I love you, I can't do this anymore." He whispered before losing his consciousness completely.
"Alexander!" she cried. "Someone help him, please!"
The nurse caught Alexander before he fell to the floor and laid him down. She took his temperature to find that he had a slight fever and sighed. "Eliza, he's okay, he's just stressed." The nurse said gently, helping Alexander's limp body back into the chair. "I'm going to get him some medicine." She left then to get him fever reducer.
Eliza held his hand tightly and sobbed softly.
