Fantasy Guardayen

Mangetsu was just wandering around the forest. Her last employer had let her go when she had refused to take his assassination mission, she may be ninja but she refused to end the lives of younglings. Old, decrepit men, corrupt leaders, even the occasional greedy merchant she would kill. But not the young. Soft sounds were heard not far away, and she inched towards them cautiously, naked sword in hand. It wasn't the katana she had trained with originally, but as she lacked the money to return to her hometown and forge a new one she used what she held. It was still a good blade, held an edge well and balanced, but it would never be as comfortable as her native weapon. She slowly inched forward, steps near silent, middle-long hair giving streaks of blue to leaves and branches, flashing softly in the light. The sound of an inhabited cave, voices, the broken twig of a human unskilled in movement in the forest, this told her she was not alone. Still, she stood and waited, hidden by the thick foliage, looking on to see what was going on, and if she wanted to become involved.

Dartag smiled, "He doing fine." Approaching the obviously kind elven lady, "Most goblins know not english, I know because I lead." He stood up tall and proud as a sign of that, "Me teach to some though, make good conversation." He smiled crudely.

Sarezar keeps watching her cautiously. "You aren't a fool, like others of your kind." He smirks and visibly relaxes, sitting down. "I like you." He lowers his tail, inviting her over to sit by him if she chooses, as he snorts more smoke from his nostrils. "Consider yourself lucky, human."

Not taken back from the smile Aria giggled at how proud the goblin was about being a leader.

"That is very good, you must be very popular leader teaching your people English."

Smiling at the Goblin happily Aria brought out a drink, "Here drink some of this, it is good for you."

That went better than expected.

Her smile widened as she nodded, thanking the great being in front of her. She slowly made her way towards the dragon, keeping both hands subtly in sight as to reinforce that she was no threat. She found a large, flat rock suitable for sitting and did exactly that, looking more closely at the dragon's detail now that it seemed that the situation had deescalated. Of course, she was not totally at ease. One can never be totally at ease.

Closer now, she noted that the dragon is pitch black, rather than the trio of colors she had originally thought. The fiery colors had simply been from the dragon's snorts, pushing embers into the air along with the dark smoke. It was a great being indeed, standing easily twice, if not three times as high as herself. She decided to acknowledge his words now that she had had some time to relax. "Thank you, dragon. I try not to be like the others of my kind. They can certainly be...foolish." It was a true statement, she and the order of the Magi of the Inferno tried to separate themselves from other common human ideals as much as possible. "Might I ask your name?"

Sarezar looks down at her and thinks for a moment, nodding. "If you had acted in any way that was threatening, I would've killed you, but you didn't do a thing, my name is Sarezar." He proudly says his name, then leaning in, nearly face to face. "And what might yours be?"

"Flying..." He thought to himself. What better to make people think he was powerful than flight. But a thought occurred to him. "How am I supposed to know that what you give me works? And this flight, what is it and how long would it work?" He started to walk casually towards the pile of scales she pointed out, the sword still slung on his shoulder, but his grip not loosening even a bit.

Holding tight to him, she lifted her head as he spoke but she did not know what he said. However, she started to feel this deep empty feeling inside her tummy and it rumbled loudly. Chirping up at him, in an almost insisting tone as if to say, forget that please, I'm hungry. My tummy is loud. As they flew, the sunlight shimmered off her silver scales but there was a light tint of blue so if one turned their head to the side they would see the light blue color.

"Sarezar." She let the name turn over in her mind, such a name fit the great beast behind it well. "I am Incendia Favian, Archmage of Valakut." The title was known across the land, Valakut was the notorious location for the heart of Inferno followers, and while most were human, the area was still well known and avoided by most. She hardly expected the dragon to even acknowledge such a title, despite how much it truly means. "I have no desire to die today, Sarezar." It was a simple and straightforward answer to his comment.

"Silly, I can make you able to fly on your own but why would I do that? I meant I'd take you up to the sky myself!" She tried not to make herself sound too mean, or harsh, but couldn't help but be a tad rude. Make him fly, hah! She wouldn't have that experiment done for another week.

Sarezar thinks her name over in his mind, labeling the title as useless, he nods. "Well met, Incendia." He offers his tail as to shake it, attempting to do the human accustom of shaking hands, not entirely understanding it, but attempting to appeal to her, no matter how much he may hate humans.

Incendia tilted her head slightly, confused for a moment at the notion, but as soon as she recognized the idea she shakes his tail. As awkward as it might have been, it certainly earned the dragon a level of respect. Once the shake has been completed, she goes to inquiring about what he was after earlier. "Originally, it sounded like you were headed away from here, but then you turned and found me. Was it important?"

Enoch

Observing the cave's occupants was doing nothing for her - Enoch dashed away from the cave, turning her back on the group, not bothering to hide herself from them. I needn't bother with these people, Enoch thought. All I need now is money... Also food. And water. And maybe some sleep... OK, so I need a lot. Enoch continued running along until she found herself near a large tree, which she rested under. After a few minutes of sitting, Enoch tried to stand again, but she couldn't - She felt too weak to move. "Not good," Enoch muttered, looking around desperately for someone that could help her.

This is bad. This is very, very bad.

Buras could barelly hear Coriana's stomach rumbling over the noise of the wind. But his own stomach did, and rumbled back. His hunger reasserting itself, Buras sees a spot just barely big enough for him to land in, resulting in a rather harsh landing. Making sure that Coriana was nearby if not still on his back and headed off on a hunt, for meat or edible roots.

Sarezar shakes his head, remembering the orc's roar, looking back the way he was headed, figuring its not really important, he had seem to have found a human that he didn't want to kill. "No, just an annoying roar from an orc, I'm sure its either dead or gone by now." He growls slightly at the thought of prey escaping.

Awakening

Although Tempus' hearing wasn't as well as the next dragon's or elemental's, he felt movement in this certain forest space. Especially in some sort of cave. A lot of movement. As the dragon was about to stand up and shake off the leaves covering it's star-speckled body, a strange being collapsed near the tree Tempus was lying from. His electric-blue eyes narrowed as he sunk back to the forest ground.

The leaves rustling and trying to cover the rest of the dragon's body.

Mangetsu, startled by the large sounds of one running, decided to follow the source. She silently moved across the ground, steps rustling only enough to sound like the wind. She paused as a flash of red was seen, red and pink. Moving closer she realized that it was another human, she wore clothing that reminded her of her home, but the style suggested that it was an export. No human from Edonia would wear such revealing clothing. However, the way she lay there, posture suggesting utter exhaustion, caused her to speak from her hidden position. "Hail, human. Is there a reason you sit there?" Her soft, alto-like voice clears the distance, though she hoped it would not cause the stranger to start and draw her blade.

Enoch

Enoch heard leaves rustling and out of the corner of her eye she could see something moving. In fear of what it was, she didn't want to look at it... But her curiosity got the best of her after a few seconds. She looked in the direction the movement she saw came from, and she saw a large and scaly body of some kind covered in leaves. Something tells me that thing's not nearby to say hello, Enoch thought, and was answered by her stomach growling loudly. Enoch clutched her stomach with both hands and shut her eyes tightly - It was getting harder and harder to handle, and soon she would need to try and find food for herself, though she had no idea where she would find it. Enoch's stomach growled once again, this time rather painfully - Enoch gasped and swallowed hard.

How much longer am I going to last?

"Hail, human. Is there a reason you sit there?" A figure stood over her, looking at her curiously. She wanted to speak, but she couldn't seem to muster words. It hurt to try and speak, and she was putting all of her strength into holding off her hunger. Luckily her stomach answered for her with a nice, loud growl.

'The being is in pain. What is causing this?' Tempus thought, slowly raising it's head from cover. He heard some sort of growl and took it as warning from the being. He stood up on all fours, spread his wings and roared back. Another being was approaching them, and he reared back, his mouth readying a Tempus Roar.

Mangetsu frowned, the stranger was hungry. "Promise you-" The dragon's roar was enough to freeze her, and she slowly inched out into view next to the stranger. "Hail, great dragon!" Her voice, no longer quiet, but instead loud and clear, rang out at the end of the roar. She slowly placed her sword down on the floor. "I apologize for startling you, great one. I was not intending to intrude, merely wishing to offer assistance to this stranger." She began inching backwards, waving at the pink-haired stranger to do the same. This dragon seemed angry, and she did not want to further antagonize it.

Enoch

Enoch gasped as the roar knocked her over on her side. Enoch struggled to her feet, her knees shaking from exhaustion. She walked over to the creature she assumed was a dragon - She tried as hard as she could to keep her head high and look as strong as she could, though she couldn't keep her knees from shaking. "I mean you no harm, I promise you. However, if you wish for me to leave, I will try." Enoch bit her lip - Standing was getting harder and harder by the second.

The mage nodded. She wondered what dragons do all day, but resolved that they most likely had to hunt for the better part of the day. After all, it wasn't as easy as simply going to the marketplace for these beasts. Still, she didn't want to part ways with Sarezar. She wanted to observe the dragon more, learn of its movements, habits, everything. She had always been fascinated by these creatures, and as now that she was with one she would like to make the most of it. "What have you to do now, Sarezar?" She hoped it was something she could perhaps trail him and maybe even assist with.

Raiko, hearing the roar of a dragon, sprinted to where it came from. While dodging trees he remembered to cover up his tracks with his ability to control the earth. He unsheathed his zweihander from his back and spotted two humans but didn't see the dragon. More humans? Why are they invading our territory?! Raiko thought to himself. He hid behind a tree, stealthing himself. He almost laughed out loud when he saw one of the humans fall on her side. At least I know the elf is safe with those goblins.

Sarezar shrugs, not having much to do in his life, other than hunt and be hunted, he thinks for a moment. "I haven't anything to do, other than hunt, and keep myself safe, yourself?" He looks back at the trail of fallen trees and chuckles, thinking of how fragile things are to him. "Its so easy to break things, especially fragile bones." The dragon smirks.

Coriana clenched her eyes shut, tight as they landed, crouching low against the big dragon's back. She had felt the deep rumble his own large stomach had made and she warbled her agreement at the idea. Standing on his shoulder, her back paws finding his shoulder and her forepaws braced against his neck as she looked on ahead of them. She looked around, full of curiosity as she chirrupped at him
