  When Caitlyn was younger,she used to be a complete sweetheart when you first met her,someone that used to always bug you when you were upset and always comforted others. She was also always used told that she was a very good friend to others and always good at reading people's body language. That was before her abuse story and her personality took a 180 degree turn.
  
  
  She started being more cold and distant towards her former friends to the point where she became nonexistent in their eyes. She stopped talking to others and she was just there, not putting in an extra effort to become the girl she once was but staying where she is currently. That doesn't mean that her original personality was tossed out of a trashcan to die, it is just buried away from the abuse she endured for six years and it is waiting for someone to help her even though she would protest that she doesn't need help.

  Caitlyn was brought up in a relatively good home with no issues with her family until her younger brother died when he was out with his friends and he drowned in a lake nearby. Her father grew depressed and turned to alcohol and he started physically abusing Caitlyn from when she was ten until she turned sixteen when her mother got a divorce and moved Caitlyn out with her. Caitlyn's mother got full parental rights on her and Caitlyn lives with her mother but she still fears that the abuse might come again from her recent step-dad.

Appearance Description


Jade is a pretty tall person, standing at 5'11" when they're not slouching. Their complexion is an even, dark creamy colour, and the few flaws on their skin are scars and freckles. Their build is lanky, gangly, and slim, with their long arms and legs especially slender. Usually in the way of clothing they'll wear baggy shirts that mask their chest and stomach and slim pants, and the occasional punk vest or jacket. Their hair is long, a warm chocolaty brown that falls in curls to their shoulders, framing an oblong face. Their nose is straight, their eyes round and deep brown, and their eyebrows thick but well groomed.

Personality Description


Even around those that they're not familiar with, Jade can be described as very friendly and open to conversation. As the head of the school's GSA, they find that it's very easy for them to get along with people of all other walks of life. However, in recent years, they have begun to struggle more and more with this as their illnesses have taken a toll on their interactions. Especially during manic episodes, they find it incredibly difficult to differentiate what has been actually said and what they are making up or hallucinating, and their paranoia makes it so that trusting people takes much longer.


Beneath all that, though, is a true, core value of helping others and trying to help themself as well. Their philosophy is that nobody is truly evil or irredeemable, and that some people just may need more support than others. They consider their purpose to be to aid those who need more support.

History

History


Born in Longmont, Colorado to James and Carrie Pine, Jade never really had a particularly easy childhood. Their family often struggled to find enough money to consistently put food on the table and also keep even a one-bedroom apartment. Due to their money struggles, James took to taking whatever money he could scrape together to buy hard alcohol, and would get drunk when things got difficult. Soon enough, he became dependent on the substance, and would lash out with or without it in his system. Jade would often bear the brunt of the outbursts, leading them to run away for a week when they were 12. Their father currently attends AA meetings, but understandably still struggles with his addiction. Their mother is away most of the time working several jobs, so they have the apartment to themself most of the time.

APPEARANCE

Appearance: When fully standing, he peaks at a height of 6'1". Leo weighs around 150 lbs, mainly due to muscle. He's rather skinny, but not very buff-looking. Brown hair that is always cut short and brown eyes.


Leo prefers to wear a lot of sporty clothing, as they're pretty. Adidas sweatpants, jacket, shirts, shoes, whatever.

INSIDE LOOK

Personality: Leong is easily described as a ticking time bomb. His moods are unstable, pretty much anything can trigger a wide range of emotions such as rage or despondency. It just happens; one moment he's exuberant, buoyant. The next he describes himself as "down in the dumps" or just self-loathes.


With such extreme mood swings, his relations with others tend to be very intense and stormy. Called "splitting," or black and white thinking, he tends to view a person in all or nothing terms. Meaning that he would completely adore a person, but the next time he sees them or if that person does something wrong, he will then either ignore them or show his anger in different ways (verbally, physically).


Leong is also impulsive. With what little money he has, he always has the need to buy stuff he doesn't even need. Of course later on he regrets it, just like everything else in his life. Impulsive spending isn't the end of it, however. Leong has also engaged in substance abuse, reckless driving, and binge eating.

BACKGROUND

History: Born to a Malaysian mother and a German father, Leong lived a surprisingly decent life. That is, if you call constant name-calling, esteem crushing, and verbal abuse decent. He never came out of the house with a bruise or red marks from his family, besides from himself. Leong is an only child, and is practically spoiled. Despite the verbal harassment, he continued to live his life rather peacefully until the age of 12 where he began to suffer bouts of depression and many other problems rather suddenly.


The root of his problems could be traced back to when he had a group of people he once considered friends. Leong had been friends with them since grade school, and recalled many happy memories with them. Until one by one, they all had picked up and left the group chats, the games, social media, just everything. He had been left all alone, by "friends" whom he trusted everything to. Some would have considered his actions prior to this incident "harsh" and "unneeded," but Leong had imprinted and was dependent on them, they were his whole life.


Flash forward many years later, and he never saw them again. Leong swears he would never crawl back or care about what happens to them. His many relationships he created over the years continued to fail and crash, all because of his paranoia and fears of being left and hated.

Before High School :


Was a part-time model still, but wasn't in many shoots. When she was younger, she had a brother, and his name was Ryan. Ryan was her light of the day. He was older than her by four years and he inspired her to do so much. Here she was now. When she was 12, he had got hit by a car. He was put in the hospital for two weeks. He was put in a coma and what was two weeks became three months. After one year and a half of waiting for Ryan to wake up, he didn't. He died which had let Mia to become very sad. She wanted to pursue her dreams and goals because that was what Ryan would want her to do. During her last year of middle school, her father had left her and her mother.


During High School :


She was the type that was crazy about her grades and one day, she got one grade below ace, but got it turned into an ace. Ever since that day, people thought of her as a girl who slacked off and not that smart, straight ace girl she was. She became having a very severe yet not that deep social anxiety.

He has stayed away from her and her mother because Ryan, Mia's sister was his favorite of the two. He thought that since she was the last one seen with him, she had murdered him. He had been depressed since that day that he passed away in his coma. He had been depressed and he soon became mental. He had called Mia and her mother "monsters." He soon had to go to mental rehabilitation and had to miss Ryan's funeral.

Mia's mother had been saddened by the event, but Mia was still her favorite. She had been sad ever since. She had become more strict and has had a harsher tone ever since. She had only talked to Mia about doing the chores and her grades. Other than that, she stopped talking about Mia's personal life and hardly even asked about her career. She hadn't bothered and decided after what had happened to her husband, she was not to be getting another one soon. Her mother had also decided to stay with just her and her daughter. If anything, her husband could come back after rehabilitation.

Mia's brother's name was Ryan. Ryan Grand. He was the father's favorite. He was very mature, but very fun to hang around with. Mia loved hanging out with him, but one day, he got hit by a car. He was put to a coma and never woke up. He had died and his father had gone mental. Mia decided to pursue her dreams because she thought Ryan would want her to.

She walked into the forest that she never knew was there. She kept on walking and walking until she saw a whole field of grass. She laid down on the lovely, soft grass and put her arms on top of her head. She sighed and said slowly "How come I've never been to this place?" She looked up to be greeted by so many stars that she hadn't seen when she was at her house. Probably it was because of all the street lights. She gazed at them for a moment, she then saw constellations. She remembered learning about them and pointed at the ones she had seen. She pointed at three of them and said " Big Dipper, Erza Minor, and Erza Major." She put a delighted smile on her face and closed her eyes. She stayed there for 30 minutes. She then woke up and said "Woah, I fell asleep." She looked at her watch and her eyes widened. She had seen the time and said "I need to get to my bed or else mum is going to get worried sick!" She ran quickly back the way she came from and said quietly "My secret hideaway." She smiled, walked into the house quietly, and heard yelling from the dining room. She made sure to not make a peep because she didn't want to disturb her parents. When they fought, a interference would make the whole thing worse. She quietly walked into her room, closed the door, changed into her pajamas, and closed her eyes dreamily.
