Grand Fleet

Vanhishikha Blocked the insignificant arrow with a quick obsidian glass shield before it melted into lava again. She fired off two dozen shards at the immortal as well as twice as many lava globs meant to explode near him. The shards should distract him if not impale and disable him then the lava globs would melt away his avatar. Vani followed close behind her attack ready to slash the immortal to bits with magma claws. Contingency plans weren't her priority but of he attempted to attack her with the same attack from before she'll just erect a glass barrier and discard it.

@Rurnur

Nanautzin followed behind Theon as he was attacked by the lava demon and the new ice demon that seemed to be the only one willing to work with the viral demon. Once Theon was in a more open space Nanautzin made his move. Using his freshly crafted body's enhanced agility and speed to flank the chemical artificial. Keeping his new found speed in mind Nanautzin would be engaging in hit and run tactics inflicting little bits of damage over the battle to infect his target.

@Rurnur

Theon quickly dashed forward and moved around a wall within the ship, escaping the range of the magma demon's miniscule attacks. Upon entering this new area, he was met with Nanautzin, the virus demon he had defeated earlier. "Huh, back for more? A little more brave now that you and your demon pals outnumber me? I'm afraid you'll just be sent running again if you try and fight me." He smirked and unsheathed his blade, slashing at the demon with a wave of chemical energy before ducking below him, dashing away immediately out of his vision. @Petroshka@SleepyBuddha

Moving around various shields and barriers, Theon continued to send out signals, hoping for someone within the military barracks to respond.

Nanautzin was able to dodge Theon's attack without too much issue. His tail was coated with Theon's chemicals, but a swift cut with his claws kept the rest of Nanautzin from feeling the effects of the chemicals. Nanautzin would give that piece of flesh a boost of viral energy to see if it could overcome the chemicals. If it could Nanautzin could use the surviving DNA to help with his defense against that infuriating chemical power. Keeping the piece of flesh in hand Nanautzin sent out spores of viral energy that would search for and attack Theon. At the very least it would give him a location. The artificial was quicker than he looked and Nanautzin wasn't fully accustomed to his new body.

Vanhishikha tracked the two's movement and slammed down onto the ship to intercept the immortal's fleeing Lava spreading out to create a domed arena of sorts. "Thats enough running for you!" Vani appeared at the other end walking on the metal of the ship melting it below with each step. The deep red magma poured out of her arms and into claws. "no more running!"

@Rurnur @SleepyBuddha

Quickly halting his flight upon being met with a barrier of searing magma, Theon turned around to face the magma demon, but still keeping an eye out for Nanautzin. "You really wanna sink your teeth into this soul, don't you?" Theon said to her, backing away slowly. He chuckled quietly. "Mine too, I bet." With that, he pulled out his handgun and held it up against the Immortal soul, pressing the barrel tightly against it's weakened shell. "Then how about this, go fight that Nanautzin, beat him, and I'll hand over the soul. If not, I'll send all these mortal souls back where they came from." He smirked, watching the demon approaching, feeling the heat of the magma all around him. "Sounds good, right? That's.. three souls all to yourself, compared to fighting over me with that other demon." @Petroshka@SleepyBuddha

coollogo_com-260071527 (1).png

Vani frowned at the immortal's gamble. "even if you destroy that soul you will still die." She ran the possibilities of power she would get from all of their souls through her head and stared at the immortal. Then she smiled. Lava aggressively melted bellow and rushed upward toward the immortal. "You bring me a hard bargain immortal" The ship below him started to sink and glow red. "But bets with demons never end well" The dome started to cave in upon itself, and vani lunged at the immortal claws ready to kill.

@Rurnur @SleepyBuddha

Nanautzin hissed at Theon as he put his pistol against the soul threatening to kill it. " That's a terrible bluff especially for you, soldier." Nanautzin wanted to begin dripping viral energy onto the red hot surface of the area. This way he could create a virus that could withstand the extreme temperatures if he ever needed to take the demon down. As his fellow demon lunged at Theon Nanautzin took the opportunity to check on the chemicals soaked flesh he had been incubating another strain on. As expected with an unnatural element such as chemicals his virus was still losing. Though it did appear to be surviving at least. If he waited long enough he would have a weapon to use bobbing of them. After checking the virus head been working on Nanautzin lunged forward, working in tandem with Vani to separate Theon from the soul. Nanautzin would target his hands, trying to cut them from his body.

Gruul had been without purpose since escaping with his Master. The Spirder's brood had all but been destroyed with that ship. His biological imperative was to spread the virus and consume souls redeliver to Nanautzin. So going off that Gruul was forced to evolve once more to move more quickly within space and on the ship.

Theon let out a deep breath and began to squeeze down on the trigger. "Very well." He sighed and fired a round straight through the fragile soul, shattering it completely, allowing the millions of mortal souls to dissipate into the universe itself, out of reach of the demons. "Good luck, Mortals." Theon looked all around at the glowing lights, travelling back to their original homes. This was the way it had to be, when faced with the death of all those mortal souls, Theon was able to fight against his newfound compassion and do what had to be done. But seeing those souls, returning to their bodies, returning to life, brought attention to the plans of the Grand Fleet. Those mortals he just saved, they'd be killed eventually. Was he that much of an idiot? No, he just wasn't like the rest of the fleet, constantly making excuses to justify their evil actions. At least, now he wasn't. That Immortal he killed, Reno, he was just trying to protect his home, wasn't he? Just as Theon was now. Although troubled by these thoughts, he once again focused on the battle before him.

His eyes darted back to the magma demon who had begun an assault on him. "Besides, I wouldn't be so sure you can kill me. Don't think for a moment this will be easy for you two." He smirked and drew his sword once again, with bright white chemicals swirling all around it's sharp blade. After evading combat for a while now, Theon had been able regenerate a good amount of his energy, and healed many of his wounds from the battle with Reno. At this point, he was fully capable of surviving a good while against two enemies like this. Immediately after removing his blade from it's sheath, he slashed at both of his enemies, fending off Nanautzin's appendages with a splash of concentrated chemicals, while dashing Vani's magma claws in two, briefly rendering them ineffective at attacking.

After guarding against the enemy attacks, Theon dropped down below the demons, narrowly evading the rush of magma and dashing around until he was behind them, forcing their backs against the magma shell instead of his own. "Hot in here, isn't it? What about you, Nanautzin? Feeling the heat as well?" He leaned back and began firing shots of chemical-infused bullets towards both targets, attempting to keep them at bay while charging up a second attack with his sword. @Petroshka@SleepyBuddha

Alexander sighed and sat down, he was tired. Physically tired. It was so weird. He felt like he'd been here for a very long time. He made a face "This is depressing" he said softly "I thought this was some interesting, inter dimensional space" he grumbled to himself "But there is nothing here, complete and utter emptine-" his words were disturbed by a single touch on his shoulder. He immediately freaked out and dove forwards, quickly trying to figure out if one of his enemies had managed to enter this space as well.

When he turned around however, he was surprised to be looking at a Mortal child, a young girl with dark hair and blue eyes. She looked amused at his actions and smiled at him.

He felt his face heat up in embarrassment as he continued to sit in place "Er...how did you get here?" he asked.

The girl gave him a silent giggle and walked towards him, pressing her hand against his chest. He felt a small sliver of energy flow into his body coupled with a soft warmth. He slowly grasped the girl's hand in confusion before slowly standing up. In front of them, people began to appear. Young, old, sickly, healthy. More and more filled the empty space.

"Oh..." Alex nodded "I get it now" he looked at the girl "You are the people whom my soul is comprised of, this isn't another dimension, it is my soul" he bowed to them "I am sorry for what has been done to you, I am sorry that you are no longer individuals, just a single part of me, but I do thank you for your lives giving birth to mine"

The girl lightly patted his cheek and pointed at the mass of people. They all bowed towards him and he felt a surging warmth slam into his body as one by one, they all turned into a purple energy and flowed into his body.

He didn't know anything about these people, who they were or even the name of the planet he was born on. Armor slowly began to cover his body once more as he thought of this. But they were him and he was them, they were all one person. He was Alex, and he was an Immortal.

Alex looked at the little girl who was smiling at him. Then she brought a fist into her hand with a loud "Smack" before turning into energy as well and forming into his helmet.

"Yeah, lets go kick some butt" he brought his fist into his hand and a wave of energy blasted out of him. The white space around him was quickly pulled towards him. He understood that those people weren't there really, but he felt a strange sense of unity that he'd never felt before.

Outside, the energy instantly and violently exploded out, spikes of gravity energy shooting through ships and expanding out like a porcupine. It quickly began to cover and strike at random places in the battle field.

Hijikata simply applying a mental discipline of Moving Zen,in unison with three steps below shukuchi accelerating his footwork once more. Basically going through like a hellish wind blowing through military barracks,honing in on the two faint signatures,using resonance now. Still having his freezing energy around him as it expands it's radius in doing so halting atoms to complete standstill. As the chilling effects would now have helped him determine that he was close towards possible enemies to shatter. That being said stops his position slowing down his footwork now standing before the   the Major & Flesh Demon comrade. As the effects of his chilling winds are now in play halting all atoms to complete standstill now. Meaning this is the perfect lock for this battle. Having now awakening both his slumbering Daisho swords from their saya's. Having the Tachi & Wakashi now in both hands gripping said tsuka's now. Looking upon the prey now as he simply speaks in a friendly but subtle glacial tone. Towards the Flesh Demon." Hmm well again it seem's the seeds of conflict are sown deep,anyways let's just take care of the puddles before advancing towards the vast ocean. Simply put the waters depth varies from said opponents now." He finished his speech as already in his demon prince form.

Vani gave a extra hot burst of heat to her claws enough to stop whatever chemical reaction happened then hissed at the immortal. "keep running and i'll make you come to ME!" The magma dome behind the immortal quickly collapsed inward to make the immortal come toward her and the virus demon. The ground below the immortal didn't just melt it shot up with swearing lava just as the floors near the domes walls. She was getting annoyed at this immortal, and the more angrier she gets the more heat she emits. The rest of the ship outside the dome melted away as well as forming a automated cage to trap and repel any and all things near. The lava near vani started to seep into her causing her skin to shine the yellow glow of the magma, almost making her invisible near the walls. (just pretty hard to see) "Welcome to my hell" She shot out at the immortal dark matter tipped at her claws ready to explode on impact.

coollogo_com-104182654.png

Acantha stared at the demons with careful eyes but a rather non-nonchalant smile, "fancy words, its a shame they were wasted in a tongue like yours." Acantha's strings were all about the demons too small to detect and too small to affect. She looked at the major and the immortal, three against two, and gabes near too. We're at the advantage. She put her hand to her ear and spoke through the (radio/aether line/somehow encrypted way that only artificial can hear.) "Major, The flesh immortal should be the strongest out of the two, if we take care of the other one fast enough the flesh demon should go down easily. Have the immortal distract him." She then looked out sensing Gabriel. "Gabe how close are you? if we get your help we can end this part of the battle quickly Theon has Nanautzin and the lava demon occupied." Acantha was careful to keep an eye out for the demons, although she didnt need it as the strings would easily detect their first attack and blocked it.

@Rurnur (i actually tried to @ theon xD ) @Destructus Kloud @Ruler of Inferno @Gabriel Forfax @SleepyBuddha @Wickedkent @Whale

Hijikata already using the Zanshin state & teachings of the book of the void,simply always is prepared. As it his stratagem had been deployed awhile ago, granted crystals are natural conductors of electricity. Was a disadvantage for the immortals/artificials as always being alert from begin to end of a strike,would've placed his Wakashi back into it's slumbering saya. Now simply placing his Tachi as well into it's saya,placing his hands on the tsuka of the Tachi's placing his left foot forward. As well moving his right foot backwards now had begun to assume the Iai school waza (advanced techniques). So as they were forming a plan,it was already to late for now he awakened his slumbering tachi from it's saya now. Thus drawing the tachi in rapid whip like motion using judgement cuts but instead of the normal nine cuts. He had used his own favored techniques Tsuki no Arashi(Moonlight's Reflection),thus increasing said number of judgement cuts along with sharpness. In total of 27 strikes occurs in s such rapid motion beyond the naked eyesight. Striking from Men to Legs(Head) striking zones,at that point eliminating any unseen variables now. As he looks toward the flesh demon and nods for him to lead. " Your the vanguard i'll be the rearguard again those lacking in the art of blade should never draw it if not willing to embrace all aspects." This now being directed at the artficial." Also these words are not wasted they're graced by someone refine like me on warfare & many things. The unity you have is admirable bond of humanity's desire to belong,but useless before one who's has resigned himself to ending up Shurakai. So there are things that many can't embrace such as true meaning of power & purest forms."

Side note judgement cuts is a high level Iai,Batto,and Iaijutsu technique using the Moving Zen concept.

@Petroshka @Wickedkent and lastly @Destructus Kloud We got this man my tactical knowledge in unison with your power set is a fine Shibumi.

A deep growl emitted from William in his armoured form. It came and rose in volume before ceasing. And then it started again as anger began to dwell within his mind. These worms were in his way. In the way of his food. No one would dare get in the way of William Rundell Haus Code, the immortal flesh demon, the widely feared Gentlemen. This was... This was a travesty! Sacrilege even! What fools believed themselves to be able to stop him, a borderline god?!

Shaking his head from side to side aggressively, he felt that his tentacles had reached far enough. There was a ventilation grill behind him and he had allowed his three tails to trail into them, working their way through the walls of the ship, causing bulges in places. But now was the time to crush these immortal mortals that sought to block him from his meal. With a roar, the thick bone-tipped tentacles rushed out from the ceiling, floor and walls from every direction towards the major and his two companions, whipping and moving crazily and erratically as they raced their way over like the oscillation of a sound wave, for a good metaphor. If that wasn't enough, William himself bounded forward in one leap, swinging his mighty sword in a swift but powerful blow to cut off any escape the artificial major might have. Briefly he had noticed that the other demon was trying to formulate a plan with him, something about him being a rearguard whilst William played the vanguard. If that was the case, his juggernaut-style tactics would have to do. He had had enough of these grand fleet weaklings trying to stop him from feeding. It had been time for his feast years ago!

Theon smirked as his bullets pierced the magma demon's soul. "Don't you think you're underestimating me, demon?" He shouted at her, as the chemicals began to leak from the bullets, fusing with the magma in her soul to slowly weaken it over time. As he felt the heat coming in closer, he dashed upwards and performed a forward flip in the air to avoid splashes of hot magma. Gripping his blade tightly, more and more waves of chemicals began to wrap around it, forming a tight layer of energy ready to burst upon impact. "You must forget where you are, if there is a heaven, then this is it!" He clenched his teeth together and jumped forward towards Vani, slashing downwards with his blade. When the superheated claws and the chemical-infused blade came in contact, the protective shell around his sword burst, causing his chemicals to come rising forth, instantly surrounding the demon's soul, cooling it down and seeping inside it to weaken her even further. In order to keep her in place, Theon forced his blade inbetween her claws, allowing his chemicals to make their way inside her soul. Unfortunately, he was met with a direct strike from her other claw, but he had to sacrifice something in order to gain headway in this battle. He gasped and clutched at the wound in his soul, a searing gash left by an incredible heat.

After the last drop of chemicals had made their way into Vani's soul, Theon pulled his sword from between her claws, hacking them apart in the process. "There we go, now let's see you come back down to my level." He said through heavy gasps, recovering from the immediate results of her attack. If he could avoid any more damage for now, this shouldn't prove problematic, Vani's infection however would take it's toll throughout the battle. @Petroshka

Unfortunately Nanautzin wasn't able to help his comrade immediately as he was acclimating to the heat himself, changing his body on the cellular level to accommodate the extreme temperatures. The good thing however was that he had a strain that would withstand the extreme heats and even his virus' battle against the chemicals was going well. Seeing the weakness Theon had opened up to after his brazen attack Nanautzin lunged forward his claws cloaked his viral energy as he aimed for his opponents back. Was it entirely fair? No but just like any virus Nanautzin was fighting for survival not honor.

With Gruuls new form he made his way into the Grand Fleet going deeper than he had ever managed to before thanks to his creator and the other demons pushing the soldier back even further. Now inside the security corridors Gruul was that much closer to the mortals.

Ducking at the last moment, Theon turned around and avoided Nanautzin's initial attack. "No, I didn't forget about you." He coughed and dashed away to the left, making sure to keep both Nanautzin and Vani in his field of vision. "You think you're stronger than me now, huh? You sure seem a lot more confident now that you have backup, compared to when I scared you off last time." Theon spat at his opponent, finally removing his hand from the wound in order to summon a new pistol, using it to fire a barrage of bullets at Nanautzin. He knew he couldn't defeat them both, but he could certainly tire them out, and definately put up a good fight when he decides to use his syringe. As Theon was shooting at Nanautzin, he kept his blade at the ready, prepared to fend of the other demon if need be. @SleepyBuddha@Petroshka

Vani ignored the creeping chemicals and shot lava geysers at the immortal. "I will never fall to your level!" She shot obsidian shards followed by lava streams at the immortal. "Heaven falls eventually" She lunged t the immortal with similar attacks to her sides.

coollogo_com-104182654.png

"you're fast," She said watching the demon slash the air with his swords. this would work to her advantage seeing how her strings are everywhere to detect any sneaky moves. When the tentacles smashed down from the ceiling Acantha jumped to the majors side to protect him from them with her strings. The tentacles crashed into her strings like a wall that appeared out of no where. "you're getting slow" suddenly strings all around the demons started to form and came slashing at the demons.

@Rurnur @Destructus Kloud @Whale @SleepyBuddha @Ruler of Inferno

"What, you think strings of steel can fend me off? Pathetic." The tentacles suddenly grew in size as they bunched up with more muscle for more power and the bone tips grew larger, longer and sharper. They stabbed back down onto the shield again this time piercing it slightly, but only enough for the tips to slide in partially. They would stop fully almost mere inches away from the artificial's bodies, straining further to penetrate the string shield more. And then William came right at it, swinging his massive flesh and bone sword into the shield, tearing a massive hole in the front before stabbing forward at the cause for the string barrier, the artificial he had fought back when he hadn't had his armoured form.

@Petroshka @Ruler of Inferno @Wickedkent

A crisscrossing pattern of gravity energy shot around, spreading out from the initial attack and appearing above the fight between the Artificial Immortals and the Demons. With a shattering energy, Alex appeared, small dagger like blades made out of his gravity energy as he dropped towards Vani, aiming to strike her quickly and effectively before she realized that he was there.

In truth, his choice of enemy was well planned out as the Lava Demon was the only one he really had any pre-existing problems with. The Artificial Immortals could wait and given the amount of damage this area of the Grand Fleet had received, it was looking more and more plausible that they'd be willing to actually back down after the demon's were dealt with.

Nanautzin couldn't be attacked because he and Alex had some previous history, Alex owed the Demon a few things for services past rendered.

@Petroshka

On a ship just outside, a fire immortal waited. The ship, salvaged from the Grand Fleet and run by mortals from Nova's current planet of residence, drifted slightly, suspended in the vastness of space. She had her arms crossed, monitoring a few screens. Something was going to go wrong, she could just feel it. But for now she waited. Waited and watched. Backup, they called her. Nova blew a strand of hair out of her eyes and tapped her foot. Backup, her arse. The minute she could slip in undetected, she was going to do so. They liked to think they didn't need her, did they? They were wrong.

As the strings form Hiijkata demon prince form enhanced his crystal energy as wall of crystals form around him & Flesh Demon. Forming a labyrinth around the four combatants. Along with a wall around Hijikata,the density being crystalline it's sturdy. As now Hijikata would then slash once more in vertical stroke sending forth judgement strikes, thus being the standard nine cuts as they phantom strikes now. Honing towards the Artificials striking silently making the his judgement cuts something else to sever the barrier's at it's weakest points now. As Flesh Demon attacks synched with his judgement cuts should shatter the string barrier.  Speaking coldly." I know i'm fast my Iai arts exceed anyone's."

Acantha smirked as they seemed confident in their attack to pierce Acantha's string barrier. As the Tentacles were dug in Acantha quickly closed the string barrier cutting the tentacle with her ultra sharp strings. "nice try!" When the other demon attempted to slash at her string barrier the invisible strings that were already on and around him detected his movements before he even slashed. The string barrier created a Kevlar/steel like plate to simply defect the slashes as her strings were already there to counter his slashes, they didn't have to move, they just had to act. The strings that were around the Crystalline structure protecting him and William slowly but surely started to break it. The strings were vibrating causing the stiff structure to crack,

@Ruler of Inferno @Destructus Kloud @Wickedkent

"You'll have try much harder than that." Theon laughed softly and dashed left to right, swiftly evading the demon's low-effort attacks. He then extended his leg and pushed himself off from the top of her head, escaping her range. While he was in the air above Vani, he was shocked to see Alex suddenly drop in to attack her. It was a relief, this Immortal seemed to want the demons gone as well. "I guess I'll leave that one to you, Immortal. Don't think this gets you off the hook, you're still an intruder." He said to the man going after Vani. He had lost a lot of drive to go after these Immortals, a small part of him just wanted to see how far they'd get. For now, Theon needed to watch out for Nanautzin, his old rival. "It's you and me then. Or are you gonna run off again, now that it's a fair fight?" He smirked at the demon, before firing a burst of shots towards him. @SleepyBuddha@Seraph Darkfire@Petroshka

as Vani was struck by the gravity daggers she let out a small gasp, not because of the pain but from the surprise. She quickly turned to the Gravity immortal with Livid eyes, "YOU!" Five explosive streaks of lava fired at the gravity immortal, She didn't care about the other one anymore. She then lunged at the gravity immortal with full speed not caring for any of his counter attacks.
