Grand Fleet

Alex laughed at Theon's words as he moved away from Vani "I'd like to remind you that the Grand Fleet is the intruder here, we are the valiant locals defending our home" he grinned as he created various gravity shields to defend against Vani's lava. The malleability of his gravity had changed to another level and moved around like a liquid. He'd gotten the idea from Vani's lava attacks actually.


Gravity whips formed and struck out at Vani as globs of vibrating gravity appeared around him. Whenever lava got too close to him, his gravity energy would attack and compress the lava, crushing it into a singularity and making it vanish under it's own weight. He couldn't do what she did, taking other sources and turning them into her power, but he could get rid of whatever she threw at him.


It was strange, he felt both free and in control and his energy reflected that, more random but reeled in. He spread out his energy but didn't let it take form until he needed to use it, allowing for more surprise and direct attacks. At times, his swords would appear around Vani and begin to rapidly attack her, even as he continued to move away from her. His energy didn't need him to be in close proximity to her, he didn't even need to physically wield his sword. It was all his energy, all under his command.

Vani struck the shield with her claws sending waves of dark matter explosions throughout her claws "Dont think you're safe in that shield of yours!" Behind her The lava that was the ship came flowing into Vani making her body Extremely hot and dense. She then started to inch through the shield as her dense body of molten metals made it harder for the gravity immortal to manipulate her gravity or the gravity around her. With the dark matter pulsing through her Vani attempted to make him disoriented with the shear output of darkmatter while getting over closer through her own force,

For a second, he found that the force of her gravity was growing stronger before he cocked his head "interesting, using your density to increase your gravity beyond my control" he grinned as his energy flowed out around him "I am the Immortal of Gravtiy remember?" he kicked his shield forward and the side facing Vani pulsed before exploding outwards. As the energy expanded, it gathered the dense gravity energy around Vani and caused more damage.


At the same time, he continued to move further away from her, creating more and more Gravity attacks to bombard her and force her to lose more and more lava. He certainly wasn't going to stay close to her with all of the Dark Matter energy she was releasing.

Deducing his judgement cuts were deflected rather than parried,meaning him & flesh demon had to come up with a new stratagem. As the true purpose of the crystals would show it's deadly bait/trap now. As already in his demon prince form his energy imbued in the constructed labyrinth now,he shatters it with simple subtle release of his energy which as 4% now going to 7%. As they do shatter into tiny senbon crystalline constructs,zoned on the artificial's only. Knowing the puppet master is near his level or close on warfare,so employs the use of the stored energy being released as well. The energy causes a bright flash blinding the targets,as he also form a wall around him & the flesh demon reflecting it twice fold in potent effects wise. Thereby having going a step above atoms,splitting protons which are light particles that make up the universe.So to vibrate these with strings means the artificial & the major need to match said velocity.  As the genjutsu had begun now making this one step closer to consuming a powerful soul. His Tachi is his only blade in hand the Wakashi still there slumbering in the confinements of it's saya,if needed it would be awakened. He then speaks now in his glacial tone as always. " Puppet master your the one is the truly worthy me & my comrade the other one is shackle cut him loose and focus on yourself,if you hope to fight another day. The bonds of humanity is full of holes,you only need yourself. As you're your own worst enemy so again cut the shackle and i'll grant you a true aesthetically death."

Vani flew backward extremely fast as the gravity pulse threw her off the gravity immortal's shield. She flee back at him only be be hit by more gravity strikes but she ignored them lunging once again at the gravity immortal but this time with one claw laced with immense Dark matter. If there was something deadly that can transcend gravity it was dark matter. It was really a one-two much as the dark matter should render the immortal either injured or unconscious then she would finish him off. Vani's entire body flared as bright as a star as she came careening into the gravity immortal.

Nanautzin had to spend most of his time dodging the well aimed bullets of the infuriating Artificial and was therefore unable to attack. That was however until the gravity immortal.... Alex came to the fight. Nanautzin had the slightest idea that he was an ally of this immortal, but that didn't make sense... why would a demon be an ally to its prey? Nanautzin skulked around the edges of the fight merely watching... thinking on this. His instincts told him not to fight this immortal. It would only lead to a quick death, but he could also feel the vestiges of memories within the back of his mind. This immortal was had helped him and he had helped Alex. And so Nanautzin refocused on Theon. Nanautzin's hatred of this man seemed to have been programmed on a biological level. He must have done something to Nanautzin, or to the Parn! He must be allowed to live! Nanautzin then silent lunged at Theon already preparing at dodge from a frontal attack.

Sighing angrily, Nova decided it was now or never. Turning on her heel, she went to the back of the ship where the escape pods were located, and launched herself out of the ship, heading towards the grand fleet. She didn't want to involve the mortals in this conflict, and a smaller vessel would be less noticeable. Crashing her pod into the nearest Grand Fleet ship, she entered the halls and drew her flaming sword. Time to get to work. She headed down the hallway, eyes and ears tuned to pick up the heat signature of anyone coming her way. 


She stumbled, greatly effected by the intense heat signature radiating from what Nova could only infer as another immortal... perhaps one of a fire influence like herself, or one of magma? Hanging a sharp left, she sprinted down the hallways, sword clenched tightly at her side. Whoever was putting out that much heat was probably of interest to Nova, given it was probably an immortal. Regardless of who it was, they were going to get a walloping for making her wait all this time.

Theon just laughed, these Immortals were something, and really not that different from himself, now that he had spent some time around them. Alex was right, Theon always knew this, but he learned to just brush off these feelings as a soldier. Could he even live with himself after being part of a military that kills off innocents like its nothing? He wanted to work for the Fleet, but it was getting harder and harder to justify some of it's policies. For now, he'd be satisfied with ridding the world of these demons, that nobody could argue are a positive influence. @Seraph Darkfire


After watching Nanautzin swiftly avoid his bullets, he began moving backwards as the powerful demon charged towards him. He was definitely stronger than before, looks like he'd have to get stronger too in order to ever finish this battle. But for now, he'd test the waters, bait the demon and see how much energy he can get him to use up. "Too far gone to even think, are you?" Theon swung his blade out to his right side and dashed past Nanautzin as he entered his range, attempting to strike the demon across his left side as he sped past. "It's not hard to outsmart a beast like you. This world has no place for monsters." @SleepyBuddha


In the back of his mind, Theon noticed a new energy signature approaching them. Another intruder, huh? Theon hoped it to be an ally of Alex, instead of yet another rabid demon. @Noivian
 
"Your Dark Matter vs my Soul, lets see which is stronger" Alex filled his attacks with his soul energy, using it to fend against her Dark Matter. Around his hands formed large black claws, formed out of dense gravity energy. Each swipe of his hands created vibrating fissures through space. Anything that they touched was severed cleanly. The Dark Matter of a Demon was like the rotted remains of the souls they absorbed, a complete contrast to the thriving, pulsing life that was the Immortal Soul. 


Ironically, Vani and Alex contrasted their souls well. While she burned like a bright star, his armor and attacks absorbed the light around him, making him appear black as the void.

Nova halted, watching the battle. What.. the... heck... is going on? She looked over the three she was aware of currently fighting. Vani was simply overwhelming with her thermal vision, so Nova returned to normal vision. From what she gained, it was a two on one fight, or perhaps a one on one on one? Wait no there was four? Nova gritted her teeth and charged the nearest person, beyond trying to think things over. That nearest person just so happened to be Vani, the source of the immense heat. Sword aflame, she swung hard.

Vani Watched as both of each others powers seemingly cancelled each other out, but she smiled. as vibrations came from him. As atoms move the hotter they get, the hotter things get the fast she becomes! Vani jolted away from the gravity immortal and turned her hand into a ultra dense magma lance then charged at the gravity immortal. "The more things you absorb that hotter you get! lets see how long until you over heat!" Vani exploded in intense heat and light to disorientate everyone around her like a flash bang combined with a microwave burst Her Dark matter tipped magma lance pierced and destroyed the gravity shield her other hand ready to counter any parry the gravity immortal might try. @Noivian @SleepyBuddha @Rurnur @Seraph Darkfire
 
"I've been thinking backwards" Alex grinned as he began to vibrate his gravity even more "You can turn the rock into lava when it is compressed, but how about I add more and more energy?" he closed his eyes, but used the constant gravity flux around him to follow the movements of the Demon. He grinned "Black Holes are ultimately colder than the Universe, only their surfaces ever get hot"


"However, you only control lava, by using vibrations I can rapidly heat up your lava to the point that it's atoms are stripped of their electrons" Lava was ultimately a liquid, which could become a gas, and then Plasma, which left her control and moved into the realm of another Immortal. He would use science to strip her of her only strength. No matter how dense she made herself, she couldn't stop vibrations reaching deeper into her body.


The closer she got to him, the more intense the vibrations became. With a quick movement, he turned his body, slamming his fist into the shaft of her lance, avoiding the far hotter tip knocking it aside as he shifted towards her undefended back. His sword quickly formed into his hand, vibrations coating it's edge as he shoved it towards her back.

As vani was struct with the vibrating sword she grabbed onto it and used it as a way to get to the gravity immortal faster "Demons have far greater control over their abilities than you immortals boy" She twisted around but using her body to shift while still holding onto the vibrating sword and slashed her magma-darkmatter claw at the gravity immortal's chest and lunged the rest of her body at him. @Seraph Darkfire
 
Alex grinned as he was struck, his soul shuddered but didn't break "I will admit, your control over your abilities is certainly good, however, what the Demons possess in ability, they lack in the Soul" he returned her attack by shoving his hand into her chest. Around the wrist of his hand was immediately separated from the rest of his body as the back of his armor split apart. In an instant, his soul shout out of his armor as it began to fall apart and chase after him, reforming piece by piece as he retreated from Vani.


It was similar to the attack he'd used against Gabriel when she'd petrified his head. Inside of Vani, his hand pulsed and began to bubble and expand, like it was melting. If she didn't react quickly, the hand would explode inside of her. He'd made sure to supply his hand with plenty of energy from his soul before detaching it.

Vani watched as The gravity immortal left his armor and felt the pulse of energy in his hand however, instead of attempting to flee or escape. She gathered her energy and lava and started eating the soul armor before it exploded. "What a tasty morsel you gave me!" She laughed as she felt a small amount of power rush through her, it wasn't exactly a soul but it was at least something. Vani's body grew both hotter and brighter. She flew at the retreating immortal "dont run away from me!"

Acantha saw the labyrinth shatter into pieces but already confirming his power was that of crystal the strings around her formed a tightly knit string ball, Acantha saw a bright flash of light on the other side of the ball "curious" the strings vibrating to add more defense. Outside the ball strings formed drills to dig into and crack the the crystal wall. "you have many fancy words i hope you have the smarts to back them up" The drills then exploded in string causing the crystal wall to crumble to the ground, strings then flew at the two demons ready to slice them apart,

As the crystals are cracking thus alerting Hijikata via resonance factor,also  a user of Zanshin & Moving Zen states of mind. So that being said as the pierce through only to be met by  another onslaught of 27 judgement cuts. As Hijikata had once again awakened his sleeping Wakashi,and drew in the Iai arts famous draw technique,as the rapid whip like motion combined with his speed of two steps below Shukuchi. With that being said all occurred in one moment,now the 27 judgement cuts now the speed factor parried the said wires,as the broken wall again had created senbon . That rains down as well long with other created crystal senbon,increasing the number tenfold. Now the officers are now impaled from Men - Legs. Thus effects are now if struck taking place,the crystals would grow inside the targets body,expanding to the point where it causes internal conflict now. Thus relieving them of mortal bodies leaving now two bare souls. He simply sighs." Again as i'm refined on many aspects of warfare/martial arts/spiritual matters. You have escaped the confinement of mortality so now tread carefully on the six paths of transmigration. I'll see you in Shurakai."


Looking at the Flesh Demon,as he  says calmly." Here's your feast enjoy now my comrade I'll be on the way to show refined battle to the next officers."

He then appeared infront of the crystal demon and lightning tails came out of his back. Lightning pillars appeared aroumd the crystal and electric demon making sure Nobody could enter and get out without getting shocked by 10 million volts.  His sword then appeared in his hands and his tails extended. He was now in his offensive stance.


"It's you and me, nobody else" He smirked "Your speed is out of the option here, in this enclosed space. Now, come or shall I?" He then run towards the crystal demon with his tails and sword on ready.

Hijikata wouldn't even look as this was already done now. The lighting pillars present no trouble at all,as the senbon are raining down still,at speeds of two steps below Shukchi. As the targets are now impaled as stated before now,the cause & effects taking place now. The massive expansion of crystals expansion in the targets body seeped with his own energy,thus stripping them of the mortal confinement. He merely walks still his prince form sighs as this was done for one these targets already. The crystals are reflecting light or photons back,thereby now ensuring the coup de grace. The Genrou Maoken illusion had already seeped into the targets mind,eroding at it's will,thereby closing the books now as they say in accounting. Adding further reasons why the resonance factor would hone on any fleeing due to the energy signature being,as Zanshin & The Moving Zen always has him prepared for any battle. He then proceeds to look at the Flesh Demon." Nice working with you your name dear comrade."

He then chuckled. The crystals didnt reach him earlier as they were melter before they hit him. This was due to the electrical heating he emits around his body when he is on his armoured form. The tails would continue deflecting the crystals that is raining upon him. He then jabbed at the heart as the demon as he made no reaction to his attack and openly allowed himself to be jabbed.

Acantha watched the two fight it what seemed like seconds but fortunately for her and the major her strings make speeds of an enemy irrelevant due to all the moving about the crystal immortal was completely tangled in her strings. With one wave of motion they all activated showing the absolute cocoon he was in. "speed only gets you so far," Acantha's strings then imploded the demons legs blood shooting into his torso. "frankly you're getting annoying" The strings then slammed the crystal demon onto the floor holding him down for the major. Meanwhile Acantha used strings inside her blood to push the crystals out, although they expanded they were too slow as Acantha's strings were instant.

Hijikata already using Zanshin now always is prepared to countered during-mid-and end of strike. The strings now fast sadly not enough to stop both the daisho swords from executing , judgement cuts from both Tachi & Wakashi. Meaning 54 cut as uses it sixfold thus the strings were countered once more,along the major & Acantha struck in a instant at naked eyesight. That being said the judgement cuts now,struck from Men- Legs in one feel swoop. As thus delivering a crippling blow to both Artificials. As death doorsteps are approaching closely now." I'd would say the same but as my refinement is something I've to point of on par with legendary  Kusanagi regalia treasure."


Again I'm always prepared to counter at all times.

Unfortunately for the crystal demon her strings were instant therefore offering no reaction time as he was wrapped in a cocoon and slammed onto the floor causing the metal to dent. "Major! strike him now!" the cocoon slowly turned red as the strings further tightened. @Wickedkent She looked for the flesh demon but he seemed to have retreated somewhere that her strings couldnt find. she felt relieved as it was a two on one. @Destructus Kloud
 
Missing entirely, Nova broke off from combat. She had to regain her senses... rushing blindly into the thick of things wasn't going to help anyone. No, everyone seemed too preoccupied to notice her blunder, nor did they seem to notice her presence much. Slipping back, Nova dipped into the hallways once again, turning to a spout of fire to make her way around everyone, burning along the top of the corridor before landing and shifting back to a more substantial form - her armored form. Sword hilt grasped in both hands, she took of down the hall, towards where she could sense the second largest source of heat. They'd naturally have more security near the controls, right?

Nanautzin knew that an attack was coming from his old enemy and was able to for the most part as he got further accustomed to his rather alien form. Managing to get behind Theon Nanautzin then attempted to slash and his back, but Nanautzins priority was to keep moving.
