Grand Fleet

Hijikata sighs he's not even using a high speed movements as the artificial speed's is laughable. He had barely even used speed level below Shinsoku,as he was playing around. He really is getting bored as he decided to show him the true meaning of high speed movements. In the midst of pointing the artificial pointing his sword's kisaki downward,only to feel  a simple strike of using his tsuka of his Tachi to the back of his head. Hijikata had increased his footwork's pace now to Shinsoku level,vanised in the midst of the artificial's attack. Now for the effects of the flick the force would've applied simple freeze touch so minuscule that most wouldn't notice. Thetre said effects now are slowly freezing his cells in quick span. He would smile softly for he hated the brashness & thus artificial's lack of core knowledge of proper usage of speed moves. " You realize i'm holding back tremendously your speed is a far cry from being on par with mine. Who's yet to show his real speed. Ha Ha!"

@Wickedkent

The explosion of the armoured soldier ripped a massive hole in William's side that slowly began to patch up. More aether fire came at him but most of the damage was negated by his armour or the shield he had created. William snarled as the mingun fired at him again, joined by all the other soldiers. This was demeaning of his greatness, as if puny ants like these could possibly even dream of beating him. He decided to turn on a little speed. For a moment the flesh demon was still, but then there was a blur as he was gone. His sword had returned and it flashed about, dancing in an intricate pattern as it carved up the immortals. Heads rolled and bodies were dismantled as pieces fell to the ground. The gunner's head fell from her body and straight into the mini gun fire, blowing it up. The swords man found both his arms now missing and a large number of the surrounding soldiers lay dead in bits. But there were still more. Shrugging off blaster fire, William still stalked forth like a juggernaut or a tank wading through enemy lines.

@Petroshka

( @Wickedkentif the flesh demon joined you two it'd be unbalanced in our favour. If it were just me and the electric guy, I would still have the advantage simply because I am just more powerful. We both have soul armour sure, but I'm in the verge of getting my mech gear. Which means if a mech is 5 bars of power and soul armour is 2 bars, you would be 2-3 bars and I would be 4-5 bars)

Pieta Clairvaux

Pieta noted how the host for the gathering of demons seemed rather cheerful. She sent back a smile as well. "I see. Nice to meet you then, I am Pieta Clairvaux," the blonde-haired demon said. Rather than saying much more as the view from the outside was shut off.

A proposal to ruling bad town wouldn't have made any difference to her, and thus Pieta said nothing. She was rather curious for the reasons that the other demons were agreeing. Did they have the same intentions as the lava demon. Or...?

...

...

The home of the lava demon had collapsed very soon after there was waves of strong gravitational field forces throughout the space around them. As the demons had separated towards the incoming mortals and other immortals, from the debris Pieta was the last one to emerge from there. There was injury to her as she landed on an abandoned smaller ship, that had large dents on one side. However, as she looked down at her white dress, one could clearly see that the hem had tears and rips already.

"A shame," she said, with a wry smile. "I had been hoping this dress would last longer."

She looked up and around. There were colourful flashes across other areas. The other demons were fighting. "It'd be rude if I intrude now." she said, while flash stepping within minutes towards the centre room of the control ship. Some of the control system had stopped functioning, but the emergency communications device wasn't. There seemed to be more soldiers from the Grand Fleet gathering, Pieta thought to herself while her fingers lightly tapped onto the communicator start-up button.

Major Cyrell Cleford

"This is getting annoying" Cyrell sighed "Enough of this joke" Large electricity aura then came out of his body.  It then begun to circle around him, it was like a pillar. Cyrell was in the middle of it. He then looked at the demon.

"Demon, I had enough of you" He said "I, Major Cyrell Cleford of the grand fleet, hereby bestow the punishment of death upon you." Pillars then begun to appear, similar to the one that surrounded him but much smaller. Electricity was everywhere and if just a single crystal touch them, then it would conduct electricity and damage the demon.

"Do not forget, Crystals Conduct electricity" He said.

@God Of War

Hjikata would just shrug as now it appear he's trapped,this matter not in the slightest factor for a cage meant his prey would fall in his own tomb. He spoke coldly. " The joke's on your actually this is a cosmic tragedy,for you just sealed your own fate. I'm going to devour your soul now steel yourself for you will be disposed by my daisho pair swords. No need for my powers as if your brave,like that uniform implies Major  you'll fight just swordsmanship. The duel standard's of honor bound warriors. Now Major remember who's going to consume you now."

Just relying on his swordsmanship would begin to assume the Chudan no Kamae posture. As he would return to his wakashi to it's slumbering confinement in it's azure saya. Now only left with his Tachi.

In chūdan-no-kamae, the left foot is slightly behind the right with the left heel slightly raised, both feet are parallel, the hips are straight forward, shoulders are relaxed, spine is perpendicular to the floor at all times. The center of gravity should be centered between both feet.

The Tachi is held with the hands in front of the waist, with the tip of the weapon pointed at the opponent's throat. Hijikata would take off in accelerated dash going forward slashing in a vertical stroke intending to connect from Men to Do. All in one fell swoop. As he's employing the swordsmanship attuidude of  Existing-Non Existing from the Book of Water,in the book of five rings. A swordsmanship text written by Musashi Miyamoto.

Daisho- are a pair of swords usually being a wakashi(short sword) & tachi (long sword)

Chudan no Kamae- The middle posture in kendo as well called the water posture.

Saya: Proper name for sheathe

@Wickedkent

Major Cyrell Clefors

"The demon sense that he is trapped and now decided to manfight me" He said with a smile as he descend to the ground "Pathetic, but if that is what you want, then I shall grant it." He then reverted to his normal form as using his armoured form against this demon would be useless. He then unsheathed his sword. He then pointed it at the demon.

"Come" He said with a smirk.

@God Of War

Hijikata would merely speak firmly." No don't misunderstand my actions I prefer to consume souls after besting them with my swordsmanship. It's a sign of respect I'm showing you Major,as remember my name is Hijikata Now the time for words is finished. Also your cage doesn't scare me at all,I would've found a  way to find it's weak point enough words."   As he had already begun his attack from earlier being stated,so with being ignored his Descending Heaven stroke would've gone through on said strike zones Men to Do drawing a deep wound from said striking zones. Thus having breached the Major's zone,not finished there slashes in rising stroke striking from Legs to Men in one fell swoop. As this stroke occurred while Descending Heaven stroke,is finished he would've proceeded to follow-up. The stroke being called Rising Hell as the beauty of this two way stroke is a bait/trap tactic. The results would've been causing two deep wound from said striking zones resulting in this exchange gong to Hijikata. Now the principal reasons being zone being breached.

Striking Zones Men (Head) Do(Chest) Kote( arms) Throat,and Legs

Descending Heaven: A rapdin vertical stroke

Rising Hell: A rising follow up slash

Zone; Your defensive area in swordsmanship being vital to winning.

@Wickedkent

Major Cyrell Cleford

He dodged the attacks like he was paper. He just smirked as he kept dodging the attacks. Swordsmanship was the field he was one of the best at in the grand fleet. No one has ever hit him with a sword yet, much more injured him. He was and if not one of the fastest man in the fleet.

"Your swordsmanship is pretty fine" He said as he kept dodging the attacks "but, not good enough to defeat me" He then stopped dodging the attack and clashed his sword with the enemy's. The demon's sword then was released from the grip of it's owner and got flung away. He then pointed his sword at him.

"Move or surrender" He said "you have no souls to consume here"

@God Of War

Hijikata would certainly entertain the Major as he dodges the Bait/trap kata. Dodging only to find in the midst of dodging that his intervals of evasions had a pattern,going off that concept now had using the zoning now. The zoning stated now studied in the motions executed a horizontal stroke,the timing precise now as strikes the Major's Do causing a shallow wound. The zoning being breached once more thus previously breached,preventing the intended tsubusa-seirei. As that gamble now seemed unfavorable due to the shallow wound,enough to make one proceed with caution. Still as the Major & Hijikata eyes gaze upon one another. Ensuing a standstill now for the moment now he would speak sternly. " Yours is lacking in the fundamentals still not bad." Hijikata would've contemplated if this battle is worth it now.

Tsubusa Seirei: Blade lock of both blades at the tsubusa's

Tsubusa: guard/hilt

@Wickedkent

I'm being very understanding but zoing should not be ignored is all i'm saying.

Alex frowned and spun his body quickly, releasing a pulse of gravity energy that forced the shards towards him away. He frowned and created several balls of gravity around the magma ball, using their gravity to pull and yank at the magma in an attempt to remove it from it's creator. When the pieces of magma were pulled off, several balls circled around them, the gravity undulating at rapid frequencies to keep it from reforming into a single whole.

He looked thoughtful and looked at Gabriel "Change the type of stones you use to far more denser, pressurized types, the higher their boiling point, the harder it becomes to melt them"

@Petroshka @Gabriel Forfax

coollogo_com-260071527 (1).png

Vani ignored the gravity immortals attempt to slow down her melting process as it was too faint and weak to hinder anything. Soon enough they melted and Vani emerged from it, "You two are quite troublesome." Vani then fired a two lava globs each at the immortals set to explode when near them.

Concerningly, Theon began to feel his enemy's energy growing hotter, intensifying as he came closer. Despite the threat of a counterattack, this wouldn't stop him from his assault. When the time came for Theon to slash at his enemy, he was met with an incredible inferno, the flames immediately entered his mouth and overwhelmed his senses for a brief moment, causing his attacks to falter. The chemicals he had sent towards his enemy dissipated within the immense heat, to his dismay. His soul had caught fire and started to burn, the outer shell softening and melting from the enemy's strength. Though there was nothing to be done now, Theon didn't know if he could resist the flames, but there was nothing else to do but try.

He grit his teeth and closed his eyes, slowly pushing himself past the flames and emerged right before the Immortal, as the flames died down. Breathing heavily, Theon stood before his opponent with a horribly charred, yet still perfectly functioning soul. "Lethal Dose." He uttered through a sinister smile. Before the Immortal could recover, Theon thrust his blade into his core, taking the opponent into his arms and not letting go, while Theon began to pump gallons of concentrated chemicals into the Immortal's soul. "Now.. you're mine." He said in a coarse tone, while using his slender blade as the needle for his deadly drug. This time, Theon was going all-out, filling this Immortal's soul with every basic chemical he could manufacture, slowing his movements, draining his stamina, even reducing the potency of his energy. Now, the only question is can he hold him off for a long enough time for the Lethal Dose to fully take effect? He would just have to see.

Upon injecting an acceptable amount of energy into the enemy, Theon released him to avoid being caught so close to him. "Now, let's see if you can pull off an attack like that again, Immortal." He wiped some ash from his chin and prepared for his enemy's next move. @Embaga Elder

As the flames died down, there was Theon, standing in front of Reno breathing heavily, and horribly charred. He heard his opponent utter some words, but before he could register what he said, Theon thrust his sword into Reno's core.  Theon held him not letting go, forcing Reno to take every ounce of concentrated chemicals he pumped into his body. Reno felt as the chemical's entered his body. He tried hitting his opponent with his fist, but he could barely move his hand. He wanted it to move so bad, but it just wouldn't move. After Theon removed the blade and backed up; Reno stood there breathing slowly, with his vision half dazed. He tried flying towards Theon at full speed swinging his sword, but he moved as if he was walking, and he could barely hold the sword up. He stopped in his path still looking at Theon. He banished his sword and held his hand out towards Theon and tried to fire a blast, but Reno couldn't render up enough energy to create a suitable flame, and using his soul armor is out of the question. The full set that is. Reno used almost whats left of his energy, to create the chest piece of his soul armor. Reno lifted his fist up, getting into a fighting stance. Come on Theon...fist fight. He said as if he was tired. Reno knew that he couldn't do much, but he had to try. He couldn't give up. @Rurnur

Theon smirked as Reno attempted to attack, allowing his weapons to dissipate and instead, folded his arms across his chest. "Oh? Is that all it took? Where's your last-minute miracle, Immortal?" He spat the words at his opponent, filled with disdain. He chuckled and began to stretch his arms, watching the Immortal enter a fighting stance. "Very well, I'll entertain you." He floated towards the Immortal slowly and carefully, trying to avoid showing too much weakness. After all, Theon had used a lot of energy recently, with his "Lethal Dose" attack, and his chemical spear against the magma demon. The massive energy expendature began to take it's toll, so he was relieved that things could end this way.

He pulled his leg back and slammed it into the Immortal's chest, applying the pressure of his soul onto his opponent's chestplate. "What is this? A fragment of what any decent Immortal should have acquired?" He looked down upon Reno, pushing his boot harder into the armour plating. "Where's the rest? If you people are so much better than us, then show it!" He shouted and pushed his leg down all the way, sending Reno spinning out into space with a flash of bright light. While Reno's momentum slowed, Theon pulled out his handgun and cocked it, aimed straight at the dazed Immortal. "Did you just come out here to die?" He shook his head dissapointingly. "This is why we exist, you know. Because.. you're just.. not good enough." Theon spoke solemnly, slowly easing his finger down on the trigger. @Embaga Elder

The other two clones began moving to assist the main body. With the combined strength of two clones it was easy for them to throw the mechanism off of Nanautzin. Hearing that the ship way about to self destruct Nanautzin had the Main Gruul start moving out while the smaller Gruul creatures as well as the spiders all began swarming on the soldiers to cover for the main body's escape along with Gruul. Even the viral membrane which covered the room began anchoring itself to the soldiers so that they couldn't escape: viral spikes pierce themselves through armor, but not shields as Nanautzin didn't really care if the soldiers escaped.

So long a single cell survived Nanautzin would be fine. The virus demon punched a hole in the side of the ship escaped with Gruul.

The Asunderer Exploded into a firey ball of plasma and fire engulfing everyone within the vicinity near it. Zukov and his squad were warped out just in time and helena and gemini took cover. The reinforcements tried their hardest to keep the demons within blast radius for they did not care if they survived or not. "focus on the escaping ones!" they fired at any fleeing the ship not caring if they were consumed by the spiders and ignoring the membrane.

Reno held Theon's foot as he planted it into hi chest. The more Theon talked the angrier Reno became. Once he recovered from spinning through space, there was Theon pointing a gun at him, talking again. Reno clenched his fist. I came out here prepared to die, but I won't be going along if I can help it. Reno slowly floated closer to Theon, with the anger inside of him boiling. You want to see the rest of my armor, fine I'll show you. He flew towards Theon, with a red glow coming from him. His armor slowly formed on him, starting with the legs, then the arms, and finishing off with the helmet. Reno covered his face with his forearms protecting himself from a direct hit from the gun. Approaching Theon, he could see heat waves coming off of Reno. Reno attempted to front kick him in the chest, with all the strength he could muster up. Theon asked for a last minute miracle and that's what he got.

@Rurnur

Theon smirked as the Immortal revealed his armour. "Hm, well then, lets see if it'll make a difference." He squeezed the trigger and began firing shots into Reno's armour, aiming for his chest instead when the first few bullets were deflected away from his face. As Reno grew closer, Theon frowned and holstered his gun, looking his opponent in the eyes as his foot slammed into his chest, causing small cracks to begin forming on his soul's shell. "This should be easy for you now, right Immortal? You're the one with the armour, after all." He coughed and spluttered as the pressure on his soul increased, but he perservered and continued with his plan. Through gritted teeth, Theon gripped Reno's leg, his palm firmly planted where his blade once pierced. With the last ounces of his energy, Theon began to weaken the enemy's attack by pouring chemicals through the cracks, slowly reducing the Immortal's damage output, faster than he could destroy his soul considering how much power had already been drained from him. "You think this is enough to kill me? You're.. finished.." He muttered tiredly, exhausted from having most of his remaining energy purged from his soul.

After having his attack negated, Reno fell back, armour shattering into shining fragments of Aether, rendered immobile by Theon's chemical attack. "Hah.. finished now, are we?" Theon frowned, clutching his own soul, feeling the various cracks caused by his enemy's attacks. While observing the Immortal's soul at the same time, it was only a fragment of what it once was at the beginning of the fight. He then aimed his gun at it, preparing to deliver the final, decisive blow. "This is the way it's gotta be, Immortal. You're better off being set free at my hand, than being completely consumed by these beasts." He looked around briefly, feeling dark matter approaching all around him, he had to be quick, or else the demons would surely get to him. He began to squeeze the trigger, charging this one last bullet full of enough energy to completely shatter Reno's soul.

But, he hesitated.

Why? Theon thought to himself, he had spent his life doing work for the Grand Fleet, yet when it finally comes time to kill another Immortal, he can't do it? Was it all talk? No, that can't be it. Theon would never hesitate to kill a demon, but, something about this was different. They were both the enemies of the Fleet, correct? Then why was this so difficult? Theon's hand shook, slowly loosening his grip on the trigger as Reno's soul floated away. That soul, it was familiar, after all. He looked down, holding his hand gently against his chest, feeling the similar energy pulsating forth. Aether. Both he and Reno, made from the same building blocks. They're both Immortals, both with souls made from Aether. Was that all it came down to in the end? He knew it, deep down. Deep down, the drive he had to fight for the Fleet was never about fighting Immortals, it was about exterminating demons, that alien energy.

Dark Matter.

That vile substance, he felt the difference, and he knew everyone else did as well, even the Immortals like Reno, or Alex. This energy meant the difference between two sides, there was just an instinct in Theon, a feeling buried deep inside that made him feel this way. He couldn't hide this feeling, yet at the same time, he knew what his duty was. He could see the benefits, the logic, everything. Looking behind him, Theon noticed the magma demon approaching, looking to feast on the Immortal's soul, he assumed. "Dammit." He cursed his sudden change of heart, knowing that if he failed his duty, allowing the demon to eat that soul, that all the mortal lives buried within would be lost, and only serve to increase the power of those demons. Nevertheless, Theon continued to hesitate, and instead pointing his gun at Vanhishikha, the magma demon.

"Back off.. you didn't earn this, bottom feeder." He slurred his words, still attempting to slowly repair his soul, trying to allow enough of his energy to renegerate, just enough to defend himself a bit longer. @Petroshka

Alvis Bo

The sudden diversion that ripped the artificial immortal's attention from Alvis made her tense, strings emerged in her winds, attempting to tighten around the immortal. With a taut expression Alvis was propelled towards her Gravity Immortal counterpart. A huff of indignation came from the Air Immortal, as her winds took a pause in the incoordination and strained against the strings, while Alvis herself was thrown out of the strings grasp.

"You judge me easy?" A vein of amusement was apparent in her voice as she observed the Artificial Immortal with fortified eyes. "You judge wrong. While I may not be as quick to advance to battle. I am not one to be taken lightly."

Her winds returned to her, once again enveloping her with chaos. ALthough she was not attacking, she was ready for another attempt to silence her.

great shes still alive. Acantha sent out strings all around the immortal getting a sense of what she is going to do and use. Acantha put her palm on her face. "aren't you the one judging me thinking im judging you?" if she wasn't going to fight her physically might as well fight mentally "speaking of which" Acantha looked at the immortal once again. "what are you going to do once those demons eat more souls and get more powerful? you might flee but they'll follow you, they have quite the sense of smell for immortals you know." Acantha's usual smile offering no emotion for the immortal to read. "and when they follow you they'll find more souls that you lead them towards, Just like now," might as well grab a temporary ally as well as possibly killing her throwing her at the demons.

Hijikata would've grown tired of the Major's present battle level,as it was child's play. Basically a puddle compared to his own being a vast ocean. As decided to fin a more worthy meal. Still having his tachi in his right palm,smiling as he accelerates his footwork to that of two steps below Shukuchi (Reduced Earth). Vanishing entirely as this was simply beyond Shinsoku. He would've sensed a soul on the way towards the border of the netherworld,honed in on it. Appears a mere fifteen inches from the downed immortal. His cold smile present as he says in icy voice." Well i'll taking your soul now,the last one is a disgrace to that uniform he wore. Maybe your soul could quell my anger for such a disgrace."  Hijikata would then look upon his fellow demon Vanishikha. And speak coldly as ." You can find a meal with toy I was playing with,this one is mine."  As applying some of his freezing energy in the area enough to freeze the atoms in the area,making his intentions clear now.

The membrane and spiders worked even harder to protect their side phobias jumped into the deep void of space. The membrane began stabbing soldiers making a sort of soldier kebab out of quite a few of them. The spiders reacted quickly either moving to take bullets for their side or quickly attack the soldiers. They would continue slaughtering the soldiers until the ship exploded.

Nanautzin while still taking a few bullets was none the worse for ware. The bullet wounds here already healing and he already began disregarding the soldiers as they didn't deal any real damage. As Nanautzin began looking for a new target he noticed a familiar energy. Theon, and his energy was weakening. Licking his lips Nanautzin flapped his wings as quickly as he could, coming from behind for the flank. For some reason Nanautzin hated this Theon. Did he do something to the Parn? Or the old immortal Nanautzin? Well for whatever reason Nanautzin wanted his soul.

William appeared on the other side of the downed immortal, peering into the frost demon's face a mere few centimetres away. He looked down at the dead man beneath them with a grunt, "I am the lion in this food chain. Therefore I get the lion's share." He stated, his voice low and slightly echoed given that he was in his larger armoured form: his Nightmare Mantle. Almost twice the size of his demonic counterpart, William had moved disproportionately faster than his body seemed to allow, faster still than that irritating electric immortal had moved. Of course William didn't have electricity or frost powers to depend on, so he prided himself on greater speed and strength than most others. A gash on his chest closed up, one of the few remaining wounds he had sustained from fighting the soldiers. Thankfully they were too weak to actually damage him, so he wasn't bothered. He glanced at the tired chemical fake immortal that he had fought earlier. He still had yet to finish that battle. However he was eager to unlock his next form and he felt that eating one more immortal soul would push him over the edge. His hunger exuded off him like a dark matter reactor, a black and red aura emanating from him with carnivorous intent. William hungered, and he was past the point of negotiating. Soon he would be eating someone's soul, and he didn't mind who's it was.

Vanishikha watched as two other demons appeared near the downed immortal and was angered "Hes mine!" Two oversizied obsidian glass shurikens fired out from her lava stream at the two, if they blocked it or tried to defect it the shurikens would shatter and glass is much much sharper than steel isnt it? As soon as she fired them Vani came rushing at the downed immortal with full eyes on the prize. firing off globs of lava set to explode near them as well. "I was here first You insolent brats!" She completely ignored the immortal who tried to threaten her.

@Rurnur @Destructus Kloud @Ruler of Inferno

A thick muscled arm bashed aside the obsidian shard and the glass bits that came to scratch him just bounced harmlessly off his harder-than-steel bone armour. (as already stated) As the demon came down to steal the body, William put up a wall of flesh with which the side facing he magma demon turned into thick bone armour. William glanced hungrily back at the ice being, "Well? Will you fight for this meal?" His muscles flexed almost of their own violation and the dark aura continued to give off it's ominous feeling. Soon after several tentacles with bone tips shot from the flesh wall, aiming to stab the magma demon in a flurry of spears.

coollogo_com-260071527 (1).png

Vani almost laughed at the flesh demons attempt to stop her and flew directly at the tentacles slashing her molten hot claws at them and melting them on the way, fueling her power more and more. She then slammed into the flesh wall suprised at how hard it was at first but quickly melted it away as her lava stream catched up. she peered through the lava hole that was quickly melting away the flesh wall and looked at 'The Gentleman' "You're going to have to try harder than that!" Her body flared up and she reached her hands out towards the two as a waterfall of lava followed her hand movements aiming to smash into the two. "i dont mind a side of demons with my immortal dish."
