Grand Fleet

Acantha quickly turned to gabriel and helpped her from falling onto the floor. "Crap, we waited too long" she used her strings to make a bandage and wrapped all around Gabriels leg. "Just apply pressure right?" She mumbled to herself  reciting what she heard in an old movie on one of the desolate mortal planets she once explored. She tightened up the makeshift bandage.

Gabriel raised her look up towards the stranger, chuckling, not wanting her to cause a commotion. "Hey...", the Officer squints at her name tag "Arietta, it's nothing serious..." she said, insecure in her words herself. She looked miserable, virus spreading to her hip, the young soldier feeling the infection in her veins and feeling sick from it. Knuckles turned white on the hand she threw around  Acantha's neck, holding dearly onto the whitehead's shoulder as the Officer feared that she might break Acantha's bone this way. "Could you escort us to medbay?", Gabriel slightly smiled at the girl.

"Yeah, just don't touch my neck, or face, or else you'll get infected by my virus" Arietta said as she came closer, and helped up Gabriel. Her clothes were normally not infected in the outside until she mass produced her energy, and her neck might as well have virus around it. She helped Gabriel, as she put her arm around her side, and put her left arm on her shoulder, she began to make her way with the injured Officer towards the Med bay after Acantha finished wrapping the bandages.

"Ich..." Jeez shes strong. Acantha tightened her grip on Gabe and nodded at the new Artificial. "Have you been working out lately?" She asked in irritation and slight pain in her cheerful as always manor. Until something came to her mind, "Theon? Have you been feeling unusual lately?" She asked with concern.

Theon had followed the three other soliders, just to get a better idea of this section of the outer rim, in case he ever needed to use the med bay. "Unusual? Apart from being knocked around by a demon? No, not exactly. Seeing as I was knocked unconscious, it gave my soul's aether a chance to reject the virus instantly, all she needs is some rest, and the virus energy will be totally removed." That demon, Nanautzin, he was an intelligent one, deep down. Of course, in their first meeting, he was overwhelmed by the power of darkness, but now that he's out there, free, there's nothing to stop him from becoming more and more powerful.

Gabriel chuckled at that "Another, Virus Immortal, great...", she said under her breath. Having barely moved her legs as they walked she finally gave up, letting the two Artificials drag her towards the medic. The Officer sighed in relief at the news, not being able to imagine Captain falling to a mere disease. "How much time do we have until the first patrol?" She asked no one in particular, hoping that she would have enough time to recover until it.

"Shhhh speak later, you're not in a great condition to speak" Arietta said as she made her way to the med bay. She knew some areas, and the Med Bay was one of them. She always patrolled by the area, and it wasn't hard to recognize what it looked like due to it being an infirmary, and had people checking in. She increased her pace steadily as she made her way with Gabriel towards the Med Bay. She didn't know who Acantha was referring to, but she made her way to the Med bay.

The virus began spreading from her hip into her abdomen as it continued feeding on her soul energy without issue. However the Aether was an issue as Nanautzin hadn't thought of accounting for the unknown for force within the souls of Artificial immortals. As Theon said given enough time the virus would be eradicated from her soul.

Gabriel nodded weakly at Arietta as she held onto both Acantha and her tightly, feeling feverish as the virus continued eating her body and soul. She lowered her head on Arietta's shoulder, sweat dripping from her forehead as she made a mental note to add Nanautzin's name to the list of Immortals she will get back at.  The Officer was now more than annoyed, this definitely wasn't the "good first impression" she wanted to leave on Cynthia, the new leader of the squadron.

After looking at her for a short while, she knew the side effects. When she was a brand new recruit she would often accidentally get other recruits sick by not knowing her power, and this what it would look like. Seeing this, she decided to run towards the Med Bay, rag dolling Gabriel towards it. In no time, they were at the Med Bay. She entered in with Gabriel, and said "This person needs attention, she must have been infected by Virus Energy!" Arietta yelled out. More or later some people came, and arrived to pick up Gabriel, and took care of her.

Acantha had half a mind to knock gabe out and use her strings to carry her. She has the grip of king kong. She then amused herself of the thought of gabe being a orangutan. Now being glad she took the job of being a scout instead of a low level commander or something of the like. I was qualified after all. She thought to herself

After the subordinates had left to go wherever for now, Cynthia had to go check which patrols were free for them to be assigned to. Striding the control section a long way away, the captain took note of the amount of mechanics scurrying around to make sure the vanguard was in top shape. When Cynthia will have reached the control section, she will go over to check the security map for any areas that require more guards. They will most likely be placed in either the security halls or the residential area, although it will take some time for the newest members to be sent to the residential area if they do need more guards over there. After Cynthia has found a suitable area for the members to guard she will look for them and tell them their positions for now.

LT Morgan was on guard duty in the Security Halls watching over his ship alongside his unit's captain. He would periodically leave his position behind his captain to go check on the rest of the unit make sure they were performing their job correctly. He walked with his finger on the trigger of Hazard's sheath, he was always itching for a fight when on boring guard duty. He would often making his way out to the Bridge to peer at the outer rim ships making sure the shield was there or that there wasn't one missing or oddly inactive. Nothing out of the ordinary at least at the moment. The ship was now on high alert after that last announcement, there's clearly a reason for it.

A few hours later, Theon was off exploring the outer rim section of the Grand Fleet, on patrol, and also getting his bearings on this new location. He wasn't used to spending a lot of time within the Grand Fleet, and this was the closest to the center he'd ever had a job. Maybe he'd meet up with some of the other members of the security team, he thought, wondering how strong they'd be. After walking a while, he thought back to the encounter in the Red Zone, how many Immortals were there really? and exactly how many demons had travelled outside of Bad Town? Holding this position, he may have to be one of the few who needed to protect the Grand Fleet, during it's mining operation. That'd certainly be interesting, maybe even a chance to get back at Nanautzin, if he was still around. He had failed Gabriel, and came close to the dark events of his past repeating themselves. Theon wouldn't let his team down this time.

After few  hours Gabriel woke up, covering her face with her hand as the blinding light was too impossible to bear, even trough closed eyelids. Quickly enough she groaned at the constant beeping sound coming from the heart monitor, reminding herself how much she hated being strapped to a hospital bed. Officer sat up, puling out the small suction pieces that were attached to her chest, causing the machine to emit static sound, no longer able to receive her pulse as she threw her legs over to the side of bed, standing up.
"Officer, you should return to bed...", said the nurse that ran in after hearing the device going off, standing at the door frame as she looked at Officer.
"I need to receive further instructions from Captain Sheridan, do you know where she is?", asked Forfax, only to earn a deep sigh from the nurse.
"...she told me where you can find her in case you wake up. Your clothes are in that closet over there."
Officer nodded with appreciation, quickly getting ready. She stepped out in the hallway and made her way towards the Captain, looking around for any familiar face.

Acantha, was, of course walking around the ship and going through a datapad of information while at the same time gathering information on everyone in the ship with her strings. She wasn't paying attention to anything but the pad sifting through information on the operatives and officers aswell as adding information on the immortals she encountered. She would use this information on her fellow 'teammates' to find out their strengths and how to used them on the battlefield, as well as finsing any information on how to blackmail them. Same with the immotrtals from the red zone, how to counter them and who would be best to fight them.

Cynthia had arrived at the control section and was in the security office, thoroughly checking the monitors for any suspicious action going on. So far the residential area was stocked up on guards and there have been no deaths or crimes since the last time she checked the panels, which pleased Cynthia to know that none of them are betraying their own crew. First off it would be a moronic idea to try to do crimes in such a high security area, and secondly everyone knew that there was no point in killing each other or stealing supplies. They already have enough enemies with the Immortals and Demons, they don't need any more with themselves.

The security halls however, have lost some members due to multiple reasons. The most vulnerable places according to the monitors are the halls towards the north of the Grand Fleet, near the main gunships. The gunships themselves were fine for security, but there were very few guards in the starships next to the military barracks, basically allowing any demon or immortal to wipe out those guards. Plus it was a couple minutes walk to reach those starships from the nearest ships as well, giving good time for anyone to take over those few ships.

It was a good thing Cynthia was given new members, she would put them there as soon as possible. It has been some time since she had last seen them, so they were probably rested enough to start their first shift. She had sent off numerous messages to the guards that were nearby the new subordinates, hoping that they will receive the messages rather quickly. The message was that they were to come to the security office in the control section ASAP to receive their routes and instructions. They will be escorted by the guards if they didn't know the way to the control section, but that's unlikely seeing as they were experienced members that have recently been promoted.

@Basically everyone here in the Grand Fleet that don't have a patrol for guard duty

Many hours passed, with Theon patrolling further and further across the outer rim, the scale of the hallways always surprised him. It was very difficult to find another soul in such an enourmous place, making things much more daunting for guards and intruders alike. Until, eventually he detected another soul, one more powerful than his, perhaps it was a security patrol who had already been part of the team? He decided he would try to get in contact with him, as he was always used to getting to know his comrades before working alongside him. Moving through some smaller corridors, and taking a couple elevators, he came across the Artificial Immortal. "Ah, another patrol. Were you already here before the Recon squadron's dismissal? I don't recall meeting you before."

@Raikou Kaminari

LT Morgan was still pacing and checking up on his men every now and then. He would often take a hard look at the outer rim ships and the force field visually searching for an anomally. All it would take is one hole and everything would got to hell. He had heard tales of demoms that entire squads have been wiped out in the blink of an eye by them. When someone approached him out of the blue his hand instantly went to his sword ans he was about to draw it before seeing the other individual was a member of the Grand Fleet's millitary. He released his grip on the blade's handle and eyed the person. The individual asked him about his post and after giving a quizzical look. "Yeah I was already on security detail when the Recon Squads were dissolved. I was not apart of them. Judging by your wording I guess that means you were and now you are posted to guard duty." he replied.

@Rurnur

This seemed like a very intense soldier, which was a relief to him. It was a nice insurance to have reliable soldiers on the team, to make up for certain others. "That's right, I was always on recon duty. I look forward to working with you, you seem like a powerful soldier, it's good to know the other Immortals on security duty around here." He was slightly intimidated in this situation, he always felt somewhat detached from the attitudes of soldiers like this. Well, that feeling wouldn't last too long, up until he used the promotional Aether.

"If you were on Recon duty does that mean you have seen and fought a demon before?" Morgan asked. Morgan figured he would likely die at the hands of a demon so he wanted to know as much as possible about them. His hand that was holding Hazard tightened on the sheath at the thought not out of fear or rage but excitement. Many would claim his attitude is on the suicidal side but he sees it as living his life to the fullest. Normal life wasn't for him, this is what he chose a life of constant threat of death. All beings die and his death is going to mean something.

@Rurnur

A demon? It never occured to Theon that he was one of the few who had actually come in contact with one. "That's true, early in my career, a team I was in was assaulted by a demon. All I remember was it's speed, it's dark shape, and relentless style of combat. It's definately a different feeling to that of an Immortal, it just feels.. wrong. If you know what I mean." He didn't exactly wish to mention his recent defeat at the hands of a demon, although, Nanautzin wasn't a true demon just yet. "All you'd have to do is take advantage of their recklessness, and they shouldn't be a problem to any of us."

@Raikou Kaminari

after a while of aimless 'patroling' Acantha stumbled upon theon and another artificial, this one seemed stronger than him. she walked toward them with a "ooohhh theon!" waving and such. Acantha took notice of the other Artifical's sword and internally frowned. we have spaceships and guns and immoral people and some still cling to swords. she gave the other artificial a smile and a slight bow. "Acantha at your service." she then turned to Theon. "what a coincidence running into you."

Theon raised his eyebrows, looking over at Acantha, who he had sensed earlier, but chose to ignore. "Acantha, yes, this is another soldier who was with me when we stumbled across the Red Zone. She was.. helpful, in her own way." He nodded at Acantha, giving a polite smile. "By the way.." He cleared his throat, looking back at the newly met Immortal. "How shall we address you? You can call me Otrov."

@Petroshka@Raikou Kaminari

He listened to Theon's words about demons, apparently they are just a savage as the rumors say. But before he could say something about it another Artificial named Acantha arrived and introduced herself. Something Theon said before his introduction caught his attention. Morgan said  "I am LT. Morgan, pleased to meet your acquaintance. What do you know about this Red Zone? It is where you encountered that demon you were talking about." At this point he took another hard sweeping glance at the force field making all the ships were still in place and that there no wholes he could observe from here.
