Grand Fleet

LT Morgan could feel he was nearing the demon and his comrades aboard the ship, then the ships's breach alarm went off meaning there was a hole in the ship. "Sir we detected something breach one of the sealed hangar doors." an operator reported. Morgan looked back and noticed he couldn't feel dark matter nor Aether which means it must be an Immortal. Well there's an immortal and demon in the same place why not use it to his advantage and make them fight then pick off the winner. The door to hangar containing Acantha and the Demon opened revealing Morgan's form and his sword drawn.

"Next time you decide to infiltrate maybe you should try being more subtle, didn't take long to discover you because of that, Demon." he explained pointed his sword at William. "It's my duty to execute you here an now in the name of the Grand Fleet and for the sake of all the souls you have eaten. Once I am done with you then I am gonna take care of the Immortal that just boarded." Morgan shuffled away from the door in attempt to shuffle towards Acantha exposing the open door. The Demon would be foolish to try and take them both now when he can go snack on a juicy Immortal next door.

Acantha faked a expression of surprise and shock. "You're a demon? I never knew" ending that sentence in a sarcastic tone. She crossed her arms, having fun at thinking about what the Demon would do and what the lieutenant would do, if it was up to her, she would lure this demon toward the immortal that was supposedly 'next door' and have the two fight it out, then kill the victor. It was a more efficient method to her but she had a feeling the Lieutenant wouldn't try something like that. From what she read on him he was a type of warrior with honor and such. Acantha attempted to walk nonchalantly toward the lieutenant eyeing the demon for sudden movements, not like he could get through much with the strings in his way. "So we have aa Immortal next door? I wonder if more will be coming" she glanced at the demon again. "It would be a shame for all those tasty souls to be wasted."

William raised his eyebrows in mild surprise at the sight of a newcomer. They appeared to exude the power he had been searching for, "Oh? Are you an immortal by any chance? You seem to have powerful aura about you." He grinned and bowed again, "William Rundell Haus Code, at your service. Although I'm afraid I'm going to have to take that soul from you, seeing as you know my species now." The grin was still as confident and posh as ever as he spoke with an air about him. Oh yes, he had just thought of a great title for himself. 'The Gentleman'! Perfect! He would use that to instil fear and confusion in others, yes, a perfect pseudonym. He dashed at the immortal, for he didn't know that his prey was artificial, and tried to stick a hand through his throat. Unfortunately, this was when the wires came into play. Through some unknown magics, an invisible line seemed to bisect him in half and he fell, his upper and lower torso sliding to a bloody stop at their feet.

Acantha turned and looked at the demon, her strings soon eviscerating him as he tried to attack. "Figures.." she then turned back to the Lieutenant "Hes not dead, I think you should finish him off" she said with an unwavering smile. She remembered her fight with that plant Demon and she knew that these things were.. tenacious when it comes to killing them. Although her initial plan was to get the demon to attack the other intruder, this works as well and she guessed it was the safest way seeing how an immortal would probably gain soul armor from this fight and this demon would most likely gain some kind of beast form. If she remembered from the reports she read in her datapad for the past week or so.

As the Demon leapt at him he pointed the very tip of his sword at the demon and then it fired off an explosive dust shard that detonated itself between the two halves of the demon while it was still in mid air. The explosion would likely toss the two halves to opposite sides of the room. The explosion bore no effect on Morgan and he made sure to step in front of Acantha to shield her from the explosion. "Honestly we probably taste worse than tough meat, are souls probably are tough meat to these guys. Though I guess he has never sensed aether or he would have knew we weren't immortals." Morgan replied. "His assumptions were wrong to begin with because what would immortals be doing with the Grand Fleet."

Morgan didn't exactly see the flesh dissapate or release the souls it's contains so he would assume the demon was still alive until he sees something that would constitute such an event. "I don't think the Demon is dead."

Acantha nodded to the Lieutenant. "Dead or not, an incapacitated demon is less of a threat than an intruding immortal, we should go intercept it and have Theon and Gabriel handle whats left of the demon. Maybe have them bring backup with them." she knew the risk of leaving an unattended demon but theon should get here soon enough and an Immortal inside the ship depending on the circumstances can be much more devastating than a demon attempting to heal itself back up. Besides, demons were much easier to find.

"Well if we're leaving him here, better make sure he doesn't get back up without us knowing, can you place a web of strings around him so I can coat them with explosive powder. that way if he gets up we'll know and he may blow himself apart again. And I mean both halves of him." Morgan said. Morgan then began releasing explosive dust in two clouds within the air. He didn't have to generate explosive powder it's just that much more handy and deceiving as well as good for such a situation.

Acantha winked at the Lieutenant. "Already ahead of you!" she said cheerfully and skipped toward a door but stopped. "um where is this immortal again? and do we know anything about it?"

Morgan coated the wires in his explosion powder if the Demon could somehow get through the razor sharp string he'd likely still disrupt them causing the fibers to rub against each other giving enough friction and a spark to ignite the powder. Even if he could get away the explosion would reveal that he's escaped. He then turned to Acantha who wanted to know where that Immortal was. Morgan put a hand to his comm unit "The second intruder breached through the hangar I arrived in, correct?"

The operator replied "Yes sir." Morgan turned to Acantha and relayed the detail that the intruder busted through the shutters over the neighboring hangars so they should start there.

Acantha nodded and jogged off to the hangars, her strings in front making any surprise attack a fruitless endeavor. She didn't like that she didn't know where this immortal is, she didn't like that she didn't know what this immortal could do. She was a fighter that used information to her advantage, any information is good for her, which is probably why these powers came to her. They were perfect for information gathering and control. "don't need to me alert of any surprise attacks" she looked back with a smile to her lieutenant trying to make him less tense looking.

The Virus Immortal

The Virus Immortal was waiting at the Hangar with a simple, calm smile adorning his face. Though it still had that one ship the demon used to get in, that wasn't the kind of ship he was looking for. He spread opened his arms in a flourish as a gritty purple fumes began to spread away from him, similarly to how some Gas Immortals would spread their energies. It was only a 'disguise' for his ability, but it has worked often enough in the past.

William waited until the two had left before reforming his body. The two pieces sprouted small tentacles that stabbed into the other body piece, aggressively pulling the two together. Still laying on the floor, a bone-like material began to grow on his form, encasing him. A sharp piece of bone then protruded from the top and cut a wire, causing it to explode. After the blast had subsided, the bone structure receded and the demon stood up, grinning, "Well weren't they unfriendly." He then ran off, tracing the trail the immortal man had come from. He soon found himself facing a larger set of doors. Smiling, he waltzed into a small control room within the hangar bay, and executed a grandiose bow, "Hello there! I am William Rundell Haus Code, better known as your primary consumer in this food chain!" He laughed as one panicked, "LT Morgan, this is second in command, we are under attack! Repeat, the de-" He was abruptly cut off as his head rolled across the floor, William's arm having cut it off with serrated bone blade on its side. The rest of the humans panicked as the radio was filled with their screaming and then a blood curdling silence. And then the radio shorted out with a loud static sound as all the equipment was subsequently smashed. William then swiftly left in the direction of where he could smell the most humans. The ones in the control room had been good, but he wanted at least a large crowd to satisfy his hunger. His eyes gleamed as he found a large group of what looked like army officials doing drills in an artificial indoor field. More slaughter occurred soon after.

@Raikou Kaminari (it was all a ploy! xD  Ahahaha demons are so sneaky)

Theon had suddenly halted his movement, upon hearing some disturbing communications from the radio. Maybe things aren't under control, I guess I should contact them, after all. "Accessing communications channel, primary security personnel." He stated clearly, putting him on the line with every other member of the team. "It's Otrov, i'm hearing some chaos over the radio broadcasts, do we have the situation under control? How many members of the team are in close proximity to the security breach?" He questioned the other members, hoping that at least someone was taking control of the situation, if not the captain herself.

Alex had left the others to get prepared. They'd been training while he'd been out strengthening his own power. However, his power was highly destructive, especially when he went all out. He needed the strength to fight against even stronger opponents. He spent a majority of his time in his armored form, swinging stars around each other as a way of training.

At the same time, he was expanding his Soul's defenses and also trying to expand control over his soul onto other things that weren't his energy. It was difficult though, his soul didn't respond well to other sources of energy and eventually he abandoned the idea. His own energy was more important to focus on. He'd felt that he could reach new heights, but no matter how often he exhausted both his soul and energy, he couldn't reach the thresh hold of his energy.

Now, he was nearing the Grand Fleet in his armored form. Behind him, floated several black holes. He'd gathered them up and sealed their energy with his own. He still believed in a diplomatic approach, however, one couldn't reach a diplomatic resolution without power. He had to make sure that they wouldn't just try to kill him. The second he died, his control over the black holes would be released. Their combined energy would cause a lot of problems for the Grand Fleet.

This was one of the many plans he'd come up with. Another one had been to create a minefield across the edges of the Red Zone, but it wasn't very practical, the required energy would be too much for him. He'd have to be an actual God to do something like that.

He stopped, floating in the middle of space, broadcasting his energy out to the ships of the Grand Fleet. He was unaware of their current situation.

"Roger." Morgan replied his sword in hand the handle gripped with his enhanced strength. As they entered the hangar he could see the ship and a purplish cloud began to spread from someone standing within the Hangar. Morgan didn't bother announcing the Immortal's presence as he is sure Acantha already knew. But then he sensed the explosion of the wires and turned around. "I have to go stop him, knew we should have killed him." Morgan said turning around and racing out of the Hangar and towards the room they had just left. Then he received a transmission from this ship's bridge, the demon was there.

Morgan came busting into the Bridge just after the Demon finished off the last member of the crew. His eyes narrowed and he didn't even speak. He lobbed an explosive energy ball at the demon which exploded just before reaching the demon in an attempt to fake him out just like he faked out Morgan.

Despite knowing that Theon couldn't see the gesture, Gabriel nodded out of habit, quickly heading to her left towards the barely sensible immortal despite the brief orders given. Unless she was with them, the Officer couldn't trust other teams and with a wave of her scythe a stone serpent rose up from her feet, carrying her down lengths of the hallway way faster than she could cross by foot. Snake followed the trace of immortal as it became more and more detectable to Gabriel, monster's eyes glowing yellow  under dim light as it quickly approached their target with the artificial standing on the serpent's forehead. Her ear piece made a sound and she touched it, listening to what Theon had to say before replying with "Gabriel here, I'm close to the immortal, apparently one of the intruders is located in the hangar, I'm on my way to-". the Officer made an abrupt stop as she felt a wave of energy, an echo coming from a powerful being located somewhere outside of the Grand Fleet. It took her a bare moment to recognize the energy of the immortal that killed her Captain, and the serpent kept still and curled up as its creator took a moment to think straight again as the wave of anger washed over her. Does this outbreak have something to do with him? Are they working together?, Gabriel thought, and at such troubling thoughts snake uncurled, hurling forward towards the virus immortal down the various hallways as the Officer silently commanded it to.

The ball exploded in front of William and when it cleared, it was plain to see that the demon had been heavily damaged by the blast. Flesh had come away and skin was burnt, yet the demon just grinned, "How rude. Is that how you greet all your intruders?" His body immediately mended itself, sinewy tentacles stretching across the wounds and melting to reform the lost flesh, "I find it amusing that you think you can beat me, a demon, immortal. The Gentleman will show you what true immortality is!" And with that he rushed forward, his fingers seeming to have sharp bones sticking out of the front as he slashed at him, the sharp bone blades attempting to rake his front.

Fleet Admiral Faust

The Grand Fleet, the great leviathan of this universe, a beast capable of destroying all others. Demons and soldiers squabbled along the very edges of this creature, attempting to pierce it's thick hide. But deep within it's core, lay the heart of the beast, a molten soul, granting immense power to these powerful machines. It's owner was none other than the Fleet Admiral, Azal Faust, who sat upon his mechanical throne, silver hair flowing down his long coat. His eyes, raised to the cieling while he carefully analyzed the energy levels of the sudden influx of intruders he had suddenly recieved. He knew the plans of these Immortals, to protect their home that had recently been uncovered. Azal was amused by the attempt, and would certainly enjoy watching his Immortal's effort at stopping them. However, one energy in particular was interesting to him, from outside the Fleet, he detected an Immortal who seemed to be trying to communicate. He recognized the energy, the one who killed Salegg upon gaining Soul Armour, very impressive, he thought to himself. "Their leader, perhaps?" He spoke to himself, quietly. He appeared to be using gravity to attract attention towards himself, maybe he'd be happy if Azal were to communicate with him. A smile slowly grew across his face.

Azal brought a finger to his throat and allowed his eyes to close. Using the power of Aether to broadcast the sound of his voice towards the soul of this Immortal. "Greetings, Immortal. Do you wish to speak with us?" He stated softly and calmly.

@Seraph Darkfire

Alex was surprised, however, he didn't let it show on his face. He'd never tried broadcasting his voice before. It was a strange ability "Yes, I was hoping to convince this Grand Fleet to leave the Red Zone alone" he said calmly "The Red Zone is a place of Freedom, and yet we were attacked and forced to defend ourselves, simply because we are Immortals"

"Not only that, but innocent Mortals were placed in danger" had the Grand Fleet personnel not attacked, the Immortals could have easily dealt with the Demons attacking the Mortals. He ended up having to spend his time fighting off their Captain.

"We simply want to be left in peace, but if you and your people insist on attacking and destroying our homes, then we will not hesitate in defending ourselves!" his eyes flashed with a determined energy.

"I am no Immortal." Morgan replied swinging his blade at the Demon like an attempt to parry with the blade. But then a bright flash and another point blank explosion was unleashed from his sword. He didn't parry with the blade but an explosion. He followed up by stomping the deck, pressurizing its internal energy, turning it into a bomb which then exploded on the floor. Morgan dropped down to the lower level because the floor wasn't exactly together anymore. He seemed to have fallen through to a hallway. A nice narrow space if that demon survived which he likely did, he must be some sort of shapeshifting or something with regen and the ability to change his body like that.

Acantha walked into the Hangers, looking at the immortal. He wasn't trying to hide himself so she didn't see why having a good conversation with him would hurt. So, she walked near him. "Nice day isn't it?" She waved at him in a friendly manner, strings flooding the entire hanger creating traps and points of movement everywhere. "So it seems that a large battle is going to happen soon." She looked out at the hole of the hanger with a sad but still smiling expression. "I don't like fighting as you can tell." She shrugged "But it seems that we have to soon." giving him a sinister look she straightened herself. "my name is Acantha, yours?" She bowed toward her eventual opponent

The floor exploded as the two fell through into a lower level. William landed lightly and sighed, "Enough of this. Surrender your soul to me!" He commanded as he shot forth a tentacle tipped with very sharp bone from his forearm. The explosions seemed to damage his body, but it had little overall effect as the body regenerated at a surprisingly fast rate. Of course William just laughed, of course the immortal would never beat him, his vessel couldn't die, so then how would they ever get to his soul? He laughed again, shooting another fleshy tentacle at him from across the space. This immortal had no chance, he was going to rip him apart and feast on his body and soul. Just like a true demon, he aimed to consume others and grow stronger. He'd already started with a few thousand people, a couple more wouldn't hurt.

@Raikou Kaminari

A grin slowly formed across Azal's face, as he listened in to the Immortal's plea, using Aether to transport the sound. Of course, it was a reasonable request, in the eyes of an Immortal. But, the Fleet could not be halted for a reason such as this. It was the way of the world, the strong crush the weak, in order to gain power. Besides, Azal wouldn't want to miss the grand show these beings could put on for him.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible, for you see, it is the simple structure of this universe. We protect our own, Immortal. But worry not, the resources you provide us with, will help to develop a truly sustainable society." Azal sighed deeply, wondering how far these Immortals would truly go.

As he admired the being's determination, Azal grinned wider, raising his voice somewhat. "But.. we won't stop you from doing your very best. Fight, and perhaps you'll prove to me, the Immortals aren't as useless as before." with that, the Fleet admiral ceased communications with the Immortal, lowering his hands onto his lap. Time will tell, whether they'll put up a fight or not.

In his unconscious state within his cocoon the hunger still festered. Unfortunately for Nanautzin his idea of suspending himself would end up turning himself into the monster he had been trying to seal away. In his unconscious state the virus reacted to its creator's subconscious desire to feed, causing the cocoon that houses Nanautzin to first sprout legs which carried him out of his temple. Once out of his temple the cocoon then amassed a good bit of energy at the bottom on it, which when released launched the ancient immortal from his planet towards the mass of souls that was just at the edge of bad town. As the cocoon floated close to the fleet it was drawn into Alex's gravity and stopped beside him.

"Then the Grand Fleet will be crushed" Alex said a little sadly. He would force them to retreat or die trying. He paused when a strange Cocoon appeared next to him "Nanautzin" he said softly. He could feel the Dark Matter within it and frowned slightly. For now, Demons and Immortals needed to work together to deal with this threat. However, he wasn't going to attack just yet. Since negotiations had failed, then he was going to wait for the others to arrive.

While he was waiting, he spread his senses over the ships he could see, searching for the weak points Nanautzin's people had been able to point out to the rest of them. They were certainly an interesting race. He couldn't let them get devoured by this beast. He was quickly planning. They needed to eventually get to the central ships, they controlled the fleet.
