After what Isabelle has seen of Ryder she realized maybe he isnt so scary after all. She was never scared of the hades thing, more of the 'He keeps to himself and seems like he would kill you if you tried to change that' vibe she used to get from him. He is actually kind of cool, she realized after spending some time in a motel with him, and he seems to be taking his leadership role very well. He was also cute. She started picking at her lip. she has never thought of a guy as cute before. she always saw kids kissing and stuff, but never considered boys herself. she thought about girls, but nothing came out of that either. but....Ryder was cute?

Izzy has a little crush. Another wink wink nudge nudge for Ryder. Although he has the emotional capacity of a teaspoon, so he wouldn't catch on unless she told him straight out.

With the death-power thing, Nico can't just save everyone's life when they're dying. It'd remove all the suspense. I'd rather if he could just ease their pain as they passed, make it less self-sacrificial.
