Nicole smiled as she stopped at her door. It was no longer hers alone. She was going to be sharing it. "Yeah. It's our room!" She said smiling, even letting out a little squeal. She couldn't believe that she was going to be getting a roommate. Were they going to spend all night talking about boys? Were they going to do all the things that she had heard about? She could only wonder. Or would her roommate be a loner type? She didn't seem that sociable when they were talking earlier.

She opened the door to reveal their room. She had taken the left side as hers. It wasn't that spectacular. She was had lived a very minimalist lifestyle. Her bed was pure white, with her pillows matching except for one. It had a cross on it. Her desk had a few books on it with a bible being one of them. The room was rather neat as well, and it seemed like everything had a place.

"I took the left side. Sorry, but I sleep towards the right so I thought that it would be alright if I took the left side." She said walking in and taking a seat on her bed. "So, do you want to some help?" She asked as she looked at Sam.

Nicole pushed the door open and the first thing Sam noticed was the smell. It smelled clean and girly, two things that werent the highest on Sams list of priorites. As Sam looked at Nicoles things everything seemed intential.

At the end of Sams bed were two suitcases, she had sent them to GA prior to her arival, she was glad to see them there. Sam walked over to her bed and placed down the rulebook. "Its fine, I don't mind the right side." Sam mimicked Nicole and sat on the edge of her own bed. "I wont need help, Ill be fine on my own." Sam picked up her legs and laid down on the bed.

The look of the celing was nothing to marvel at, 'Ill have to put something up there.' Sam turned her head towards Nicole. "Although maybe you could give me some information?" She looked excited about something, but within the same thought she felt something like fear or anxeity. For a moment Sam went over the conversation she had with Zeus earlier, he had said something about retaking classes. "What classes have I already missed? Including this last one?"

Nicole thought for a second. "Hmmmm." She hummed. "There was the first class where we all walked into the forest... We were given our weapons but forced to face our fears. The second class we were put into pods. The third class we were put into a mock world where we were our chosen deities. The class before this we were given our beastly companions." As she said this Hemming the Hummingbird flew over to Nicole. "That's where I got Hemming. And this last class was a potion class. We've even played capture the flag, but that ended when a chosen of Ares broke the teams.... Ares's was very angry from what I'd heard, and trust me it was known that they were angry.... Oh we also went to the beach. But some Norse rebels ended a party that was going on. I wasn't there. I don't really do those kinds of parties. I'm kinda shy when it comes to those types of things." She said with a smile. She was a quite girl for the most part.

"So your dad is thantos.... That's pretty cool." She said following Sam's lead and laid back on her own bed. "I don't know how I was picked for Aoeid. I didn't believe in the greek gods. But after coming here it's eye-opening to say the least." She said sighing. "Guess things are a lot different then what they seem." She said with a light chuckle.

Alaric Swift
"No." Alaric shouted resolutely. "She has missed our deadline and therefore forfeited the mission. We go on without her." With his statement made he turned away and headed for a portal to Rome. “I hope you can do your diplomacy on your own, as I will be of no help.” He added in passing. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to help, diplomacy was just a foreign concept to him. He doubted he would be any good at it, best to stick to what he knew in his strange new environment. What he could count on.

Tera had rushed back to Ivan a short while later. She had feed Jeff with some of the food that she was given. After she was done feeding him, she packed a bag with some simple supplies. They weren't going to be gone long but it was all thing's that she thought that she would need. As she walked up she would smell like lilacs and gooseberries. She had also changed into all black. It was nothing crazy, a black shirt that had an ac/dc logo and a pair of black short shorts. "Yeah, I'm ready." She said smiling at Ivan.

She started to walk with him. "So if we're going to Olympus then we should honestly be close. Wasn't it Ares who said that we were close to the mountain.... But if we leave campus we won't be able to get back. We should talk to a teacher. They should be able to get us to where we need to go..." She said offering up the idea of talking to a teacher.
St. Boethius St. Boethius
“ I think I can manage.” Argus said as he loaded up the bronze and followed behind Alaric. Once through the portal to Rome Argus whispered to his teammate, “ Remember that for now we’re in the mortal world. Keep your abilities under wraps at least until we find the camp.” Argus could tell that Alaric wasn’t much for subtlety so he needed to make sure before they went any further. Now the hard part would be finding their Roman equivalents in the city. If he had to guess a good place to start... “ Why don’t we try the Coliseum first.”
Ivan smiled and nodded, “ Sounds like a great idea to me. Why don’t we go talk to our quest giver himself?” Ivan suggested. Though it was a suggestion he was already starting to head out. After all he didn’t know many teachers so it just made common sense to him.

It never seemed like the words would stop coming from Nicole's lips. 'I've miss so many classes!' A blank look fell across Sams face. Every Saturday spent retaking only a single class sounded awful. But if Sam wanted to graduate from this school she would have to put up with it.

Sam had a difficult time relating to Nicole. She was born into the world from a God. She didn't exactly get a choice what she wanted to believe in. In some ways Sam was jealous or mortals. "Things have seemed this way my whole life." Sam stared intensely at her hands. The memories of everything that died near her were creeping up again. Every flower she wanted to smell, wilted. Every cute little hamster or mouse that she wanted to pet, fell ill. Sam began to feel her eyes well up.

Sam quickly got off of the bed and grabbed her backpack. "I'm gonna go for a walk," She slung one strap over her shoulder. "don't follow me!" Sam kept her focus away from Nicole's eyes as she made way for the door. The best way for Sam to clear her head is to walk. Most of the time she doesn't have anywhere specific in mind, but this time was different.
Dak Dak

Tracing her steps back through the school was quite easy for Sam. Not once did Sam even need to look at the map to find herself at the front door of the school. She pushed open the great heavy door and felt the sun shine its warm light on Sams exposed arms. She raised one arm to block the light from her eyes, and walked down the steps. About half way she stopped and sat. The courtyard was being maintained by a few wood nymphs who glanced up for a moment and then continued to work. Sam turned so her legs were parallel with the stairs, she leaned her head back and began to doze off, but not falling completely to sleep.

Nia was currently in a tree, laying back on one of the large branches softly humming to the tune of 'The Parting Glass'. The humming soon developed into full singing. Her voice was soft and light as a feather.
"Oh all the comrades that e'er I've had
Are sorry for my going away
And all the sweethearts that e'er I've had
Would wish me one more day to stay"

She opened her mouth to finish the song but noticed that someone was laying on the nearby steps. Nia rolled out of the tree, which wasn't that tall and landed on her feet with a thud. Taking a moment shake off the impact she casually walked towards the unknown girl. She waved. "Hey. I don't think I've seen you around before. What's your name?" She said extending a hand out towards the girl.

The peacefulness of the outdoors was a wonderful refresher for Sams mood. That was, until she began to hear some sort of singing. She hadn't noticed anything before now. As for her mood... The singing stopped, and replacing the sound was the ruffling of leaves from a nearby tree followed by the thud of feet hitting the ground. Sam looked up to see a girl, roughly her height, waving at her.

"Hey. I don't think I've seen you around before. What's your name?" The look on Sams face clearly read curiosity as she raised her hand slowly with a tilt, like a half wave. Sam shifted her body towards the girl and put her feet one step lower then the one she was sitting on. "Um, my name is Sam" The girl extended her arm. Sam stood up to shake her hand but as their hands almost touched Sam hesitated. 'Please don't get hurt!' She gripped the hand and shook it. Quickly letting go she shoved her hand under her armpit as if to restrain any power that may have escaped. Sam was gritting her teeth as she looked at the girls perfectly healthy hand. An audible sigh of relief escaped from Sam.

"And your name is?"
Sam bent over to pick up her backpack, but it seemed heavier then it was when she had set it down. Eagerly Sam untied the bow keeping the pack closed and looked inside. A round object with a rather rough surface filled up nearly the entire bag. Sam quickly closed up the bag and walked down the steps without looking back to the school or to the girl. Not a word poured out of Sams mouth as she made for the main gate. 'What have you brought to me Father?'

"My name's Nia." She answered, watching the girl look into her back with a curious head tilt. When she began to walk towards the exit Nia quickly reached out a hand and grabbed Sam's wrist. "You can't leave or you get memory wiped, remember?" She let go and brought her hand to her side. "We need a teachers permission to leave."

Sam's momentum was brought to a halt as the girl, Nia, grabbed her wrist. At first Sam was furious 'Don't touch me!' She thought. But then the reasoning came from Nia and Sam felt thankful. Sam yanked her arm away from Nia's grip and stood still for a moment contemplating what to do. Sam didn't want to lose her memory. Nia was right, the only way to leave campus safely was with teachers permission.

Sam walked up to Nia and got into her face, Nia was just barely taller than her but Sam radiated nothing but ferocity. "Don't grab me like that again." At heart Sam was grateful for Nia's warning, but Sam knew what happened to people that she opened up to. Sam rammed her shoulder into Nia's as she walked back to the school's front door. "Well are you coming with me or not?" Sam looked over her shoulder to Nia. "I might need help with this mission."

Nia was expecting her to jerk away. Sam getting to her face and ramming into her shoulder though wasn't what she would have expected. Nia, let out a sigh as Sam walked past her. 'This is one of those people, isn't it? I love one-sided relationships. They're so fun when they hurt you for being nice and treating them like a normal person.' She had a small rant in her head before turning and following Sam, keeping her distance though. "I'll go... If you thank me for not letting your brain get turned to goo." She paused, her eyes looking around the area. "Also if you'd tell me what we are doing and why that'd be good too." The red-head added as an afterthought.

Sam stopped walking and shoved her hands in her pockets. She turned halfway around and looked Nia in the eyes. Sam squinted and in a very smooth tone said "Thanks" She turned back to her path and continued walking. "I've got a promise to my father to uphold!" Sam pictured the day in her head that Thanatos had visited her. 'I promise, father, that I will uphold your request, to return lost items to their rightful homes and deliver a peaceful death to those who appear on my list.' A grin appeared on Sams face from the memory of her father. "For now that's all you need to know"
Duke of Doge Duke of Doge

Nia squinted following Sam's begrudgingly given thanks. "I guess that will do..." A promise to her father was the reason given after that. 'Mysterious and vague answer. I guess that will do!' Nia thought as she followed Sam through the halls, eventually finding Erebus. Who was standing over a boy. Nia waved again, with a bright smile across her face. "Hello! We wish to leave school grounds if that would be okay?" She asked him simply. SuperiorOnion SuperiorOnion

As the two girls came around a corner Sam noticed what seemed to be a teacher looking after a sleeping boy. 'Why not just wake him up?' Nia, however, took it upon herself to ask permission to leave. Sam couldn't help but raise her palm to her face because of how little detail she had given the teacher. "I have received an item in my magic bag that I need to deliver to a location off campus."

Sam was trying as hard as possible to be polite to this god for she didn't recognize him. "It has recently come to my attention that I need permission before I do." Sam shifted the bag on her back and gripped both straps. "Would it be alright if Nia and I went on this minor quest?" She gave the most convincing smile she could as she asked.

Erebus looked up unamused from staring at Kyle. "A quest you say?" he said. Erebus studied them, the child of Thanatos and the chosen of Eirene , they didn't seem like they wanted to get into any trouble. He took a glance at her bag, was their a note about this student. He honestly didn't care, he could use this situation to his advantage. "You need four people to go." he said and picked up Kyle from under his arm. Kyle imediately woke up and let out a sound. "Take this kid as your third." he said and pressed the Hypnos child's cheek.

Kyle looked at the two and smiled. "Hi! I'm Kyle. Chosen of Hypnos. What's the quest?" he asked. He literally became fully awake that fast. It was like he wasn't even sleeping to begin with. It was true, he was nearly in a trance.

Katara growls lowly, pacing her room like a tiger. Damn it, she needs a fight. It used to be that when she got like this, her father would take her to the gym for some stress relief. There was a lot of protective gear for him though, Katara has the capacity to do a lot of damage.

She stops, thinking about it. She could always talk to Ares about it… no, she doesn’t want to distract her from her duties. Another student would probably be her best bet. Someone who she’s confident will be able to put up a fight without Katara potentially maiming them in a rage.

There’s a Nike kid around her, right? Goddess of… victory. Chances of Katara’s raw physical being able to trump that kind of magic are slim. She doesn’t need to win, she just needs to fight, and that matchup sounds like it would be in the other student’s odds.

It takes a bit of asking around, before she finds herself in the garden, strolling toward another young woman. She waves, making herself smile in a friendly manner. “Hey, have you got a moment?” She asks, hoping for this to work.

Nika looked up at the unfamiliar voice, standing up from her kneeling position in front of the flowers. She saw a red haired girl there, reminding her a bit of Tera, though this girl's irises were black and not that mystifying crimson red... She really needed to figure out how she felt about her dorm mate.

Brushing that aside, she wondered what this new girl needed with her. Actually, she wondered who she even was since she hadn't seen her before. "Sure, I don't mind. What is it?" She would be glad to have something to do, and she would be even happier to be of help. With her major losing streak mostly involving a certain witch, she had felt kind of useless the past few days. It would be great if she could do something other than the lifting up Tera bit near the beginning of school that had potentially ruined all of her chances with Tera... She really needed to stop thinking about that girl, it was a never ending pit.

The thought of taking four people wasn't pleasing to Sam. A quest like this probably didn't even need more than two, however this was the teachers words. "Much appreciated." The boy who had just been asleep introduced himself as Kyle. "Hey, I'm Sam" She pointed towards Nia, "and this is Nia."

Sam slung her bag in front of her and pulled out the object. The surface felt of stone that had been warmed by the sun. "I've made a promise to my father to deliver anything that appears in this bag to its rightful home." Sam avoided telling them about the second half of her promise in case they didn't approve of it. She examined the object she held in her hands. "This egg happens to be what showed up. And it will be our job to return it."

Katara chuckles nervously. “You’re Nika, right? I’m Katara.” She starts, groaning internally at how awkward she’s being. “I was just wondering if you’d be willing to spar with me for a few rounds. I’m the chosen of Enyo, and… I kind of need to fight. All the time. Or I just get randomly pissy and not a fun person to be around. Would you mind?” She asks.

She tilts her head, unable to help the urge to size the girl up a little bit. Nika looks about the same age as Katara, but that’s about where the similarities end. Nika has a much different way of holding herself, and while Katara prefers a bold, in-your-face style, Nika’s seems a bit more graceful, with lighter tones. It’s interesting, and Katara really hopes she’ll get the chance to take Nika on.
That Lass Over There That Lass Over There

Nika didn't think Katara was being awkward at all, though she did find her request a little weird. Actually, it was a lot weird, and fighting was definitely not Nika's thing since she can't help but flinch every time she's in danger of getting hurt, but it was one of the things she was going to preside over in the future so it was a little difficult to fully walk away from it. It took a moment of thinking before she nodded her head yes, looking over to the dorms. "I hope you don't mind, I left my weapons in my dorm room..." She didn't like the close-quarters all offense claws that she had been given at the beginning of the year, but they were better than nothing. Then she remembered that those things were sharp and cut basically everything. "Actually, on second thought, do you happen to know where some practice weapons might be?"
Eliasdagood Eliasdagood

Katara considers the questions. “I mean, they’ve gotta have some around here somewhere. They can’t expect us to start off training with lethal weapons. Maybe we should ask one of the teachers? Or we could go hand to hand, but I warn you, I’m trained in that.” She suggests, tilting her head.
That Lass Over There That Lass Over There

Nika had no shame as she admitted the reason why she would never accept hand to hand. "I'm a coward so the longer the weapon the better." If it were just about training, that would be fine; apparently the little godly power she has right now has made her good at basically everything, near mastered even. But, her base flaw was that she was a coward, and the first test meant to help them get over their fears had done nothing for her completely sane desire to keep herself alive. If anything, that test and the times a certain witch has barbecued her has done nothing but strengthen those tendencies. "I guess we should go ask, then."
Eliasdagood Eliasdagood

Katara laughs softly, though there’s no meanness to the tone. “Ah, gotcha. Any idea where a teacher might be? I mean, I’m sure if we wander around, we’ll find one eventually. And it would be a good idea for them to be present in case one of us gets hurt.” Nika. Katara can take a hit, and she’s trained to fight. Nika seems like she could get seriously hurt if Katara let’s loose, and despite Enyo’s territory being brutality and essentially war crimes, Katara really doesn’t want to harm another student.

Nia stared at the egg with sparkles in her eyes and a gasp. (Kinda like my profile pic.) "Oooohh~ I wonder what kind of egg it is?" She was thoroughly interested in this quest now. A magic bag that gives stuff that needs deliverin? Sounds like a cool, more magic version of a courier. "How about we go ask a teacher? Or maybe do a bit of research in the library... or the Greek god version of the internet. Maybe a chef of some kind. What we need is an eggs-pert!" She smiled wide and looked to the people in front of her to gauge their reaction to the pun. Nico Nico SuperiorOnion SuperiorOnion

Torri stood in front of the schools main building, sniffing the air and blushing at the mix of smells. "I'm so hungry! He could have at least sent me with a snack!" She howled, whimpering as she started blindly following her nose. "I need something to eat...it took me forever to walk here!" Holding her bag to her chest Torri tried to stay focused, she knew that a teacher or staff member was supposed to meet her but she didn't know who they were or where she was supposed to go.
