Zeus was standing outside the main building on the campus. He was tasked with greeting the new student. She was shorter then he was, but then again a lot of people were shorter than him. He listened as she spoke, giving both her name and asking a question. "Yes, miss Whitney. This is godling academy... We know all about you and who your father is. Thantos is a very interesting god to have as a father. A god of death." He said stepping aside and ushering her in.

He followed her inside. "You're a latecomer to this academy... Which isn't bad. I was a latecomer myself." He said with a smile on his face. "Now first we must discuss you're living arrangements." He said sliding a key card to her. "This is your room key, your room with be 341. Your roommate will be Miss Nicole Rosenberg." A picture was also slid to her. It was a picture of Nicole. "You will be attending class. Our students are actually in class now. I shall escort you to class. But before that, we do have some rules." He slid a book full of school rules over to her. The book had a vast amount of knowledge. Along with a map. "Here you shall have the opportunity to grow and eventually come into the godhood that you will inherit. But first, you must be chosen to become your chosen god. Simply coming here doesn't mean that you are automatically chosen to become Thantos. There will be others, so you must do your best to become a god." He said standing up. "Now do you have any question's before I bring you to class?"

Sam nodded to Zeus as she passed him on her way though the doors. He began to speak and as she listened she took in her surroundings. Sam was directed to a desk in which Zeus has walked behind. In turn they both sat down in chairs that were more comfortable than they looked. From behind the desk Zeus pulled up a few items, the first being a key card. 'Room 341, got it.' She thought. The next item was a picture of her roommate, Nicole. Her bright pink hair was unsettling, and the smile on her face was the biggest that Sam had ever seen. Sam shoved both items into her pocket when Zeus then slid a rule book to her. She picked it up and began to flip through the pages. On the inside cover was a map of the school. Sams eyes widened as she looked at the map. 'This place is huge!' She closed the book and put it on her lap.

Sams eyes met Zeus's as he stood. His height intimidated Sam. "Is there much free time in the life of a student here?" She gripped the strap of her backpack. "I've got a few responsibilities I need to uphold." Sam stood up, and stepped away from the desk, pushing in her chair. "Oh! and is there a specific time that I should wake for breakfast?" As the words came out of her mouth, Sams stomach spoke up. "And when is lunch?" She clenched her stomach with her hand and looked up to Zeus with a grin on her face.

Zues smiled as he heard Samantha's stomach growl. She must have been hungry. "We can stop by the cafeteria on our way to the class... as for when you should wake up. Classes start at 8 AM, breakfast start's serving around 6 AM. They do stop at 7:30. Lunch is from 11 to 12. Dinner is served at 6 pm and goes for two hours." He walked to the door. "As far as free time. Any time after classes are let out you may do as you please..." He said as he opened the door. "If you must leave campus then you are to let a facility member know. if you leave the barrier you may never find your way back." He said starting to lead her to the cafeteria.

He led her towards the cafeteria. "While here, you must ingest a drink that has been toned down from what we gods drink. You must drink one bottle of ambrosia a day. This is to help you get accustomed to drinking it. Some student's say it is sweet some say it is bitter. It depends on your taste buds.... Now you have missed a few classes, The staff here will help you along the way, but you will also be required to retake those classes. Weekend's you normally will have off. But until you make up these classes you might be coming in on your saturday's till you are caught up with your classmates. I shall talk to the headmistress." The word headmistress sounds a touch bitter. He was still angry that she was picked over him. "I will get back to you with whatever she has decided."

Sam followed Zeus through the halls. They passed many rooms that seemed to all have a different use. As they entered the cafeteria it smelled as if the greatest meal was being cooked, but as she looked around she saw no sign of any kitchen. Zeus explained the ambrosia to her. It was odd how people could taste one thing so differently. On the edge of the buffet line was a brown paper bag, waiting for her, with 'SAM' written on it with black pen. It reminded her of home when she would wake up in the morning for school. Sams mother would make her a sack lunch at night that would be waiting for her in the morning before she left for the bus.

The idea of retaking classes sounded annoying and time consuming. After he finished talking Sam walked over to the sack lunch. She grabbed the bag off the counter. "Thank you?" she said awkwardly to nothing. Sam made her way back to Zeus ,who was still waiting in the door to the cafeteria. "Off to class then?"
Dak Dak

Zeus watched as she ran over to grab the bag with her name on it just to run back with a bag lunch. "Yes, now I'll bring you to your class. You and your class is going to be working with the god Aphrodite to craft a potion. I only know of a couple of them that are not there. "Being a god he can easily find a person. It wasn't hard he only had to think of them and he would get an idea of where they are. "I believe that your roommate is there as well." He said as he led her to the class.

It was s short walk but they had gotten near the group of student's standing outside the class. It was rather weird but then he remembered the day. Now Zeus is strong, but on certain days he knows not to screw with Ares on those days. He walked up to the group of students. "Good morning student's. I'm guessing that the headmistress wanted to talk with Aphrodite alone... Poor guy." He said standing aside. "Student's this is Miss Samantha Whitney. She is a new addition to the class. Please guide her around." He said taking a step back. "I must be going. I have some business to attend to." He said walking away.

Nicole had smiled when Samantha had joined their group. Nicole was rather shy, and was standing in the back of the group. This girl was pretty, and she was new. Nicole had known the burden of new. She was still rather new to all these things. She shyly walked up to Samantha. "H~H~Hi.... I'm... Nicole." She said softly. "It's nice to meet you."

As they rounded a corner, Sam saw a small grouping of students outside of a classroom. Zeus introduced Sam to the other students and then headed off. She scanned the faces of the group. Zeus had said her roommate would be here. Nicole was easy to spot with her pink hair. Nicole walked up to Sam and introduced herself. "Hi." Sam said with little care for anything aside from finding somewhere to sit down and eat her food.

"So I guess we are roommates then." This girl looked uncomfortable talking with Sam. "I suppose that means I should get to know you a little better then." Sam gestured for Nicole to follow her as she walked over to the wall. Sam slid down to the ground and sat with her back against the stone. Eagerly, Sam opened up her sack lunch and pulled out its contents. The lunch was comprised of all the things her mother used to pack for her; a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich, a small bag of baby carrots, three Oreo's, and a juice box. The only difference was that the juice box was branded differently, it read 'Ambrosia' in a cartoony font.

Like it was muscle memory, she flattened the paper bag to use as a tray of sorts. Sam picked up her sandwich and looked up to Nicole. Sam gestured to the classroom, "So whats going on in there?" She asked between bites.

"Sure Samantha..." She said following her. She Samantha had sat down against the wall. Nicole had sat next to her. Her overly large sweater which had gone to about her midthigh was now being sat on. She heard Samantha talk. "A... a fight." She had said shyly. She didn't like violence and fighting. she could feel the anger in the air and disliked the feeling. She wanted to be happy and smiling. It was easy to read on her face that she didn't like it. "The teacher, Aphrodite and the headmistress are arguing about something." She said.

Nicole knew that her singing had relaxed people and had stopped fights from happening, but the gods were something different altogether. Some simple singing wouldn't stop them. "I am the chosen of Aiode, the muse of music." She said softly.

Sam froze for a moment when Nicole had said her full name. "Don't," Sam turned to her, "call me Samantha!" With quick movements Sam picked up an Oreo and took a bite out of it. Staring at the remainder of the cookie she said softly, "My name is Sam."

She was sure that her sudden outburst would be unexpected. "Only one person can call me that." Sam thought she remembered the voice of her mother first saying her name when she was a baby. 'Samantha' Her mothers voice was like the smoothest sound you would ever hear. Sam tried to cling to the happy memories of her mom, however most of them were of the many nights Sam heard her crying alone in her room.

Sam ate the rest of the cookie she was holding and then turned back to Nicole as she told her of Aphrodite. "How long have they been in there alone?"

Again Ivan had gotten close to her, whispering in her ear. She could feel his breath in her ear. Almost like they were whispering sweet nothings to each other. It had made Tera nervous. She was always the one to take the reigns. She was always the one taking the first step in anything, but Ivan was doing that. What was Tera thinking? She liked Lena, but Ivan was so bold. He was getting so close to Tera. Her face was starting to blush. What was she feeling? What was happening? This was just a class, but she started to feel something. No, she liked Lena. She cared for Lena. But Lena, rejected her. She wanted to be friends. Tera had said that she was fine with that. But she wasn't. She wanted Lena. She wanted to be with Lena. It had pained her when Lena said that she wanted to be just friends. Tera's heartfelt a tinge of pain.

She snapped back to reality. "Well then. It looks like we're going to be visiting Demeter." She said standing up quickly. "Looks like we're going to be visiting Mount Olympus." She said walking towards the door. She didn't know where she was going, but she knew that they were going to need to go outside first. Besides the fresh air might help Tera think.

When Samantha had lashed out at Nicole it had scared Nicole. She had covered her face with her hands which were engulfed in her sweater. She didn't mean to make Samantha angry. "I'-I-I-I I'm... ... ... sorry." She said softly. She had gotten so scared that she softly hummed to herself to calm her down. It was loud enough for the both of them to hear. She was humming "Somewhere over the rainbow". It was a song that her mother would sing to her when she was sad.

After a couple of moments, Nicole moved her hands away from her face. "They've only been at it for a few minutes. I don't know what's going on,but I don't like the feeling in the air."

At first hearing Nicole sing, Sam was none too pleased. But as the notes kept coming, she began to feel more at ease. Sam picked up a the bag of carrots and held one up. With the soothing song from Nicole, Sam was so relaxed that she seemed to partially lose control over her powers. The carrot that she was about to eat, quickly began to rot in her hand. This snapped Sam out of the trance. The look on her face was disgust as she flicked the now rotted carrot away. Sam was hoping that no one had seen what happened so she wouldn't have to explain, but she wasn't exactly discrete about it either.

"So Aiode huh? Well I don't think your singing works on me." Sam wasn't about to admit how well Nicole's singing calmed her.

Ivan had made it a point to watch Tera’s face as she very quickly separated herself from Ivan and made what was almost a dash for the door. Ivan wasn’t sure what was going on with her, but Ivan couldn’t help but find it adorable. The Tera he had seen charging through the battlefield during both the hotel incident and the capture the flag was now meek got some reason. The only thing he could think of was his proximity to her, but was that really it? She had to be used to rubbing shoulders with guys when sparring or battling so what was so different? Was it Ivan himself? Going from what the wind spirit had seen he was the only think that had caused this change... it was at times like these he wished he could be like his father. Boreas simply took what he wanted as wild and fierce as a blizzard. However in comparison Ivan felt as if he was but a meager cold breeze. Fit only to carry snow and herald his father. Ivan shook his head as he gathered himself. If he was going to succeed his father he would have to break out his shell, out of his own head if he was going to do his dad proud. Ivan looked up, finally free from his own thoughts, only to find Tera had disappeared. Ivan’s heart sank, he had spent too much time in his own head again! Ivan, as politely as he could, rushed out of the library and looked around for Tera. Thankfully Ivan caught a glimpse of her rounding a corner and turned to wind so that he could quickly catch back up to her. When he did catch up to her a moment later he placed his hand on her shoulder as he turned back to flesh. “ My goodness your fast. I get distracted for a second and you wander off.” Ivan said jokingly as he mustered a smile. “ Anyway where are you heading? Getting some supplies before our trip to Olympus? “

"I can control it when I'm not singing, but... When I do sing... I can't control it. Music soothes the wicked soul." She said sitting back. Nicole's voice was her only true power. She could calm down even the most dangerous of beasts. She had done it before too. One of her strongest songs was a lullaby. With that song, she could put anyone to sleep with it. She looked at Samantha. "Well if we're going to be roommates then maybe I should work on it..." She said smiling.

"Hopefully we can be friends." She said not knowing the true power, and value of a friend. She lived a sheltered life with her parents. They hid her inside away from people. So she had never really had a friend before. In a life with two other people, she was very, very alone. She was a very timid girl because of this upbringing.

Alaric gave Argus a curt nod as he turned from the punching bag and began equipping his gear. “We should meet up with Blake so we can continue the mission.” He said without turning away from his work. He didn’t plan to wear any armor on this mission as he wasn’t familiar with armor yet and didn’t want to be disadvantaged because of his lack of familiarity. With a plain xiphos on his hip and his pistol holstered beside it he turned his attention to back to Argus, “do you know where we might meet up with Blake?” He questioned blankly.

After a lot of trying to figure out where Apollo is, Katara gets up, grinning. “Alright, let’s do this.” She says, adjusting the baby harness she’s currently carrying Machus in. “Shouldn’t be too hard to get there, right?”

With that, she runs out of the classroom, hoping to find some kind of portal, since Katara herself can’t do that, and they’re getting low on time.

"Right! Let's move!" Lena ordered as she quickly caught up to Katara and the two found the portal to Apollo's realm. She entered the portal with her rifle raised. She was expecting the worst. Her barrel of her rifle quickly did a sweep around the area.

Kartara runs through the portal, and hisses, having to shield her eyes. This place is ridiculously sunny, as she now realizes should have occurred to her before. When her eyes adjust, she sees a blond man in a fairly casual white t-shirt, black dress pants, and black sneakers. He chuckles softly, raising a hand palm out towards Lena. “Oh, please. At least give me a chance to explain the rules, hm?” He says, not looking remotely threatened by the firearm.

Apollo waves his hand around, gesturing to the stone walls around them, showing the bright blue sky above. “I would hate to have gone to all this effort for nothing.” Katara narrows her eyes, tensing, and Apollo glances over at her. “Don’t. I understand that violence is in your natuere, and trust me, you’ll have it, but I’m not the one you should be worried about~”

As if on cue, a bellowing roar resounds from somewhere in the maze, echoing off of the walls. Apollo laughs. “It seems like your playmate has heard us, so I’ll be brief. Find your way to me, and my blood is yours. You can fight our friend, or evade him, the choice is yours. All that matters is that both of you make it to me.” With that, his form disappears in a flash of light. Katara looks around warily, baring her teeth. Machus, on the other hand, is more excited than anything.

Tera was leaning against a wall when Ivan had rushed over. "Just give me... a minute." She said panting rather hard. She was a bit flustered still but she was calming down. Her breathing slowed and got less deep. After a few seconds, she was back to normal. If could think of Tera as normal. "Alright... Now I'm ready." She said standing back up. "Well if we're going to do this, then we're going to get some stuff, plus I should probably feed Jeff before we head out... I don't want him eating my pillow." She said lightly chuckling as she ran her right hand through her hair.

In all actuality, the fresh air helped her. She was finally able to think straight. She knew without a doubt she was ready to go out and get what they were tasked to get.

Argus scratched his head and gave a sheepish smile, “ I was honestly hoping he would be here by the time I returned. As it stands I don’t have a clue where he would be... I suppose we’ll have to go look for him... though I would hate to just leave the bronze unattended... ah! There’s an idea.” Argus wrote down a not and stuck it to the bronze. It essentially said that by moving the bronze from its current spot they agreed to be cursed by Argus. This would let him know if anyone took the bronze after taking a moment to enchant the bronze with his power he turned to Alaric. “Alright let’s go see if we can’t find our friend then.”

Ivan watched as Tera left to go feed her pet and prepare for the journey. As it stood he was ready to go, but he was more than happy to see that Tera was back to her usual self. Though he was a bit curious as to what was going on with her. Perhaps he would ask her about it when she returned. Now all that remained was for her to return.

Tera had rushed back to Ivan a short while later. She had feed Jeff with some of the food that she was given. After she was done feeding him, she packed a bag with some simple supplies. They weren't going to be gone long but it was all thing's that she thought that she would need. As she walked up she would smell like lilacs and gooseberries. She had also changed into all black. It was nothing crazy, a black shirt that had an ac/dc logo and a pair of black short shorts. "Yeah, I'm ready." She said smiling at Ivan.

She started to walk with him. "So if we're going to Olympus then we should honestly be close. Wasn't it Ares who said that we were close to the mountain.... But if we leave campus we won't be able to get back. We should talk to a teacher. They should be able to get us to where we need to go..." She said offering up the idea of talking to a teacher.

"No." Alaric shouted resolutely. "She has missed our deadline and therefore forfeited the mission. We go on without her." With his statement made he turned away and headed for a portal to Rome. “I hope you can do your diplomacy on your own, as I will be of no help.” He added in passing. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to help, diplomacy was just a foreign concept to him. He doubted he would be any good at it, best to stick to what he knew in his strange new environment. What he could count on.

Klaus was amazed at Camrons daring dive into the deep lavas of the Volcano. His heart jumped a little as he felt himself falling for this boy. “What A man” he whispered as he anxiously waited for Cameron to resurface. Waiting....waiting... and more waiting finally Cameron surfaced and Klaus sighed a huge breath of relief.

“Oh thank god” he breathed scooping Cameron up in his arms in a hug. He looked completely beaten up and pretty close to death. “You won’t make it by yourself, hop onto my back.” Ignoring Cameron’s protests Klaus pulled Cameron into his back and began sprinting down the mountain. Dodging lava and burning rocks the partners finally made it down to the base of the volcano where Klaus’ team was waiting for them. “Hurry, hospital now” he wheezed. Dak Dak

As Sam finished up her early lunch, she neatly folded the paper bag into a small square. She looked at Nicole as she spoke. Sam nodded in agreement. "Maybe you should..." Sam whispered. Sam stood up and shoved the bag into the pocket of her hoodie. Sam heard Nicole mention something about friends and Sam froze. 'Friends' she thought. As she looked blankly across the room everything seemed silent. Sam glanced back to Nicole. The way this girl seemed happy all the time, there was just something off about it. 'There is no way'.

"Well it seems like class isn't making any progress at the moment huh?" Sam looked back at the closed door and swore she could hear some yelling from the other side. "So Nicole, would you mind showing me where our room is?" Sam's body was exhausted from her journey to the school. "I've got a few things I wanna drop off there." Sam gestured to the rule book she was holing to her side.

Camron was fading in and out as Klaus ran down the side of the volcano. He was fully passed out when they got to the helicopter. He was still breathing and was brought to the actual hospital. He was burning up, but in the end was saved from total heat stroke. He would need some time to recover but he was going to pull through.

Cam was laying in his hospital bed when he slowly started to open his eyes. "How did I know that I was going to end up in here at the end of the day?" He asked jokingly. "I guess I do like taking risks." He said jesting to himself. "I wonder if this is where death comes out talking about the life that I had, and where I beg for my life." Cam said talking to himself.

Nicole heard Sam talk about dropping some stuff off in the room. She looked at Sam for a second. "Yeah sure. We completed our task so I have nothing really happening right now." She said smiling before she started walking down the hallway to the exit. "To be honest I should probably feed hemming anyway." She said happily leading Sam to their room. "So Sam, Who's your godly chosen to be? You look rather scary.. Are you a hades? Oh I am scared of him. So dark and dungy." She said continuing.

As Sam looked around at the tall walls lined with godly decorations a feeling that she was now a part of something big began to sink in. 'What have I gotten myself into?'.

Nicole spoke up with a question that Sam had been anticipating for quite a while. "It would be a true honor to be a chosen of Hades, but no. My chosen is the god of death, Thanatos, my father." She gripped the left strap of her backpack. Sam admired her father and his work, she would make sure to uphold her promise to him.

They turned a corner and to Sam it felt like she had walked right into a hotel. The hallway got more narrow and the doors got closer to one another. The numbers next to the first door in the hall read 300. Next to that door was room 301. They kept going down the hall passed every room. 314, 320, 336, 339, 340 and then Nicole stopped. Sam nearly ran into her as she kept walking but she stopped in time. Sam looked up to the room number they had stopped in front of and remembered what Zeus had told her, 341. "This is it?" She looked to Nicole
