As the witch placed the vial back on her belt she began taking all off her sterile equipment off and putting them away, "Oh, no no no no no!" She replied to a curious and inquiring Saoirse who seemed to question her practices, "Dragon fire doesn't simply burn things, you see when the fire is spat it mixes with a sort of flammable liquid from two large glands in it's neck, sort of like a venom spitting snake!" She placed her hands in her hips as she continued, "The liquid leaves a sort of residue and after it finishes burning whatever its been fired at any excess is left behind!" Chuckling she continued, "So, even a speck of this ash can be dissolved and put through various alchemical apparatus to refine it and create key ingredients to all manner of potions or rituals to obtain various spells!" Then a sudden saddened look came over her, "Unfortunately, I haven't been back to school so I still have much to learn before I can tell you what sort of wonderful results could be obtained." Happily again, "BUT! We must all start somewhere!" She said giving the slave owner a wink.
It was then she noticed her Almanac being written in from behind the grave. The writing was a dark glowing green, and the text seemed to give off a misty glow. "Oh! Oh! Oh!" She exclaimed, "Interesting, yes, yes.." she repeated as she consumed the writings before her. "Your excellency!" She gasped referring to Saoirse, "It very well seems this place was thoroughly terrorized! I have a spirit here that's eager to tell me all about it! Unfortunately he was bit in half when he died.." she said with a saddened groan, "..but he's reminiscing about his village life, and how he would partake in the village festivities which curiously included the public..c- hmm.. " she shuddered, "..well, cooking and eating humans as a sort of celebration?" Closing her book she put it away and shook her head silently in sadness. "May you poor souls find a warm good place in the hellish planes." She muttered out loud.
It was then that Baharius would call out, quite disturbed and seemingly ready for battle. "W-what is it?! Oooooh.." she noticed a flying growing ball of fire approaching them, what was it? Could it be some sort of living fire elemental guardian of some sort? It was hard to tell, but, for the sake of the safety of the party she figured to start a spell. But quickly decided against it and retreated, standing behind Saoirse. "Oh please, don't let that thing burn me madam!" She said whilst looking at the incoming fire over her shoulder. Surely she was capable but, it was her way of waiting to find out more about this new threat.
