Learn something new every day. However, it wasn't exactly my point. Evolution works differently in the Pokemon universe, more akin to transformation. As such Pikachu may very well be the first mouse and thus classified as mouse just because it needed a name and they had nothing to compare it to. Though there are of course a plethora of Pokemon classifications that oppose this.

Would make sense, somewhat, since it'd explain that humans can be electrocuted, burned and hit with all manner of harmful effects without serious injuries for the most part.

Lol well then the Legendaries being sad in this RP wouldn't make sense which actually is a huge chunk of the plot.

No its just a term for something we detected when calculating the total mass of the universe, we saw there was something invisible there effecting it. They refer to this as "dark matter" but it may not be matter at all. This concept is just the inspiration for giratina being a shadow form as well as alternate universes and whatnot in general

I haven't bought a pokemon game for a few years, but it was a tradition in my house growing up that me and all my brothers asked for whatever new one came out that year for Christmas and we'd play through them together. Joined this story at just the right time I think to give me the idea.

• Had to evolve my Kadabra to Alakazam early on because for whatever reasons it can't learn Kinesis and Confusion at the same time (evolved from Abra at level 16).
• Said Alakazam proceeded to steamroll Hala big time.
• Right now doing one last round around Melemele before moving on to Akala.

Awe, thank you for keeping it alive The holidays does take the attention away, especially for me, but now everything is somewhat back to normal since the Weekends are usually busy.

If people are still interested after break, we can do a time skip or just a skip towards coordination class
