Honestly can't decide between Furfrou and Prinplup lol. With Prinplup, I feel like Edward would be more of an 'unaware' spoilt brat that would be extremely snobbish. As a Furfrou, I see him as being less snobbish, but more for lack of a better term 'tsundere' towards the middle and lower class, which imo could be quite fun to explore.
Prinplup: "Oh?.. You don't have a chauffeur? Why don't you just buy one then? Isn't that what everyone else does?"
Furfrou: "Wait... What do you mean you drive your own car?!?! Seriously.. Wow... Thats amaz... *cough cough*.. I mean... that's just ridiculous.. can't you just get someone else to drive it for you? That's what my family does"

Well, as I said, I did have a plan for officially introducing Damien in mind, but I'll start on that once Ms. Webster's class ends. She can notice that Damien isn't in for the day, though, and maybe Alistair can tell her something like 'he has a habit of being sick an awful lot', which is... not exactly a lie, as he does have fits of lycanthropic madness that he's doing his best to hold back. Thank Arceus he has a psychic kitty friend to keep him up-to-date on lessons, though.

It was more of a broad range. Say I don't know how to use headbutt, what is stopping me from just slamming my head against someone else's? It isn't like I don't understand the concept.
If we go lore, we can say that any technique can be used, but only those imbued with some sort of inner energy can actually do damage.
That energy is reserved for specific attacks which is why they can only "know" a specific amount.
Say Max wanted to use vine whip despite not knowing it. He could, in theory, use his vines to slap at someone. Without that energy behind it, that "PP" if you will, it would be as ineffective as if he'd just lightly touched someone.
The opposite could also be true, you could refrain from using PP in your technique, thus you could make an attack perfectly harmless.
I hope I'm making sense.

Ah basically the rules of what you can or cannot do or what's cannon in the rp. Yeah I can try, I'll have to think of something.

Never heard of him, then again I don't watch streamers all that much. Either way, it's a fun game if you don't take it too seriously. There are some flaws that are to be expected from a developing game, but the story and characters are solid.

I’ve played Genshin before, to me it feels like what happens when you take Breath of the Wild and a “Tales of” game and throw ‘em in a blender. The only thing is that it has a Gachapon system when it comes to getting certain weapons and usable characters, which I’m not crazy about, but... other than that it’s fine.
