"Done," Em said as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

"Yeah, for both of us," Em said, sounding rather bored.

"I'm one of the wealthiest men on this side of Trulane, you must not ever get paid then." Callum noted.

Em smirked and leaned in close, just to play along.

Callum closed the gap between them and pressed his lips to hers for a deep kiss, but pulled away after a few seconds. "Something like that."

Em smiled softly and leaned in to kiss his cheek. "Oh, I like that."

Callum smiled at the kiss. "I'm glad you do. I'll just make that our personal currency then."

Callum returned the kiss to her cheek, "You're too adorable Em."

"Well I'm glad you like it," Em said softly. "How much longer til you're done?"

"Not too much longer love." Callum told Emmalia, finishing up on a few papers. eventually he set the stack aside with a sigh. "There, that should keep everyone happy until I return."

"You never told me dear, where are we going?" An was curious, though she would understand if he wanted to keep it a surprise.

"Well, obviously there was a reason I haven't told you." Callum stood with a smile plastered on his face, kissing her head. "Let's get going so you can find out."

"Alright then, my dear," Em said. They took their bags to the carriage, and for most of the ride, Em laid with her head in Callum's lap, relaxing.

Callum tried to keep from moving too much as to not disturb Emmalia. Eventually, they arrived at their destination, with Callum stepping out and helping Emmalia out as well. They were in the center of a crowd migrating into a central large building, a theater.

Emmalia held Callum's hand as they walked to the theatre. Suddenly, she grinned and said, "I know, we're going to watch the Ballad of Leo, aren't we?" It has been a long time since she had agreed it would be nice to go to see it with him.
