Callum embraced Emmalia tightly, holding onto her with a newfound love burning bright. He then pulled away and smiled down at his wife, and kissed her head gently. "And you're mine, my love." He stepped back a bit and reached into his pocket, pulling out the ring he had bought for her at the fair. He held it out to Emmalia with a smile. "For my wife."

Emmalia looked at the ring with wide eyes, then almost laughed out of pure excitement and overwhelming emotion. "Callum, it's beautiful! Oh gods, I didn't think you'd bring a ring!" She held her hand out to him so he could put the ring on her finger , as was traditional.

Callum smiled softly at her reaction, glad to see she was so excited for his present. Slowly, he held her hand and gently placed the ring onto her finger. He let go, and admired his wife. "Look at us Em, Lord and Queen, huntress and swordsman, man and wife. There is nothing greater I could ask for."

Em looked down at the ring on her finger, then back up to Callum. "There's nothing else worth asking for. This is just perfect," she said quietly, then hugged him again.

Callum smiled down at Emmalia and kissed her again, not willing to leave the altar for eternity, until a guest spoke up. "Alright, you've had your kisses, now come on." Aman said with a hearty chuckle. Camilla then spoke up. "There's plenty of time for kissing after this, so let's celebrate now!" She cheered.

Emmalia blushed and pulled away, saying to Camilla, "Yes, on to the reception! We have only some of the finest musicians here, excellent food, and, of course, fantastic alcohol." She took Callum's hand and held it tight as they walked back to the castle, to the small ballroom they had set up with everything promised, and then some - at the last minute, they had hired some entertainers: acrobats and a comedic acting troupe.

Callum had walked close by Emmalia's side the entire way back, and sat at the head table with her when they arrived. He watched as the guests enjoyed the food, alcohol and entertainment, all the while he was enjoying the company of Emmalia.

Emmalia made sure not to have more than a bit of wine, just enough to have some fun but no more. She savored being able to partake in the food, even if she couldn't have too much of it. With had her hand laid over his as they sat next to each other, she quietly said, "Thi shas been an amazing day... husband."

Callum smirked when she called him husband. It was the greatest thing he ever heard, or could ever hear. "I agree, my wife. We have an eternity together - we can simply enjoy it as it comes."

"Indeed we can. But this has been a beautiful day." She smiled softly and leaned her head in on his shoulder. "This is one we'll remember for all the years."

Callum rested his head atop hers, with his arm around her waist. "But of course my love. There will be songs and paintings and stories of this day. The day we became one."

Callum chuckled lightly and kissed her head. "You know what I meant. And I presume that'll happen many more as the years go on."

"As the years go on? That's disappointing, I was planning 'many more' for our honey moon. We need a much bigger adjective for how these years will go." Emmalia smirked and lightly kissed his neck.

Callum chuckled more as he returned the kiss to her lips, then poked her side. "Calm down you, we're still at the party, in front of our... 'family', so to say."

"That we wrap this up, say it's later than it is, and start the honey moon a little early." She smiled and took a long drink of wine, no longer caring if she gets a bit tipsy.

Callum watched as she sipped her wine, before grabbing hid own glass and downing it. "I like the way you think, Lily Pad. You want to make the announcement or shall I?"

"I shall," Emmalia said with a giggle, then said loudly as she looked down the table at everyone, "Honored Guests! We thank you for being here on such a momentous occasion, but it is becoming quite late! You are welcome to stay the night in one of the spare rooms of the castle, or our servants can escort you to your carriages."

Most of the guests wondered a bit, drinking up the last of their wine before eventually heading off to either their rooms or their carriages, while Camilla simply called back, "Enjoy the honeymoon!"

Emmalia smirked at Camilla's comment, then drank a little more wine and said to Callum, "Well, to the master suite then, shall we, my husband?"

"We shall." Callum stood up and offered his hand to her, guiding Em back to their bedroom and shutting the door behind them.

A week later, their honeymoon was officially over, and it was back to business, which didn't mean much for Em. However, she did receive a letter of congratulations from her parents, who also wanted to meet to discuss the terms of her becoming the owner of the West. She ignored the letter. One afternoon, she walked into the library where Callum was reading and sat on the arm of his chair, leaning her head in to kiss him. "Cal, I'm going to go for a hunt, will you please accompany me, dearest husband?"

Callum looked up from his book and smiled up at Emmalia. "Of course my dearest. Will I be needing my armor or no?" Usually Emmalia hunted small game, but the forest held many creatures and monsters. He wasn't sure where she'd be going hunting at, so he figured he'd ask.
