"There are rumors that during the invasion, the kingdom had taken several people from earth back to the kingdom as slaves. If this rumor turns out to be true, then the kingdom will have a lot of things headed their way. Some are very unforgiving you could say." The officer said to Ace.


"My apologies. I should have told you that I followed you here." The officer said after.

Ace clenched his fists. After all, that's happened he didn't want to see anyone except Kayla. "Get out. What are you, a spy?"

Kayla raised her left eyebrow as the officer spoke:


"And who might you be? I don't remember requesting for help or receiving any memo" she then stood up "We we're in the middle of an interesting conversation." then she raised her hand midair signaling Ace to calm down.

"Well, the UN does have their secrets that they hide from even the highest ranking generals. But I am Major Proust of the Canadian UN military." The Major said. "I am suppose to act as a body guard for you two since the people are not too happy with the appearance of kingdom envoys."

Ace relaxed but he mumbled something about the officer's eye sockets and a foot.

Kayla raised herself from the bench and made a sharp salute, the two behind her did the same.


"Captain Kayla Ariel D'Sole,sir.Forgive me but I will require some official verification of those orders..or at least that's protocol..but I think you've already heard enough so I won't bother with that, for now. " She then turned towards Ace.


"Sorry but I guess he 'ill be around for a while... you know how it is ..orders from above. I'm sorry for your sister, but allow me to be frank.. how did you team..Squadron X.. found out the emperor is this Gate Opener? also you plan to kill his daughter..the princess you escorted here?"

Ace looked up at the officer and gave him an icy glare. "I refuse to talk about it here." He put his sword back on its sheath, picked up his shirt and began to walk away in a random direction.

"We already know a lot about your world. Mainly through interrogations and several people who decided to side with us. We don't know who is responsible for making the decision to start the war or who gave authorization to invade Earth. We have a list of people that will be taken into custody but, we need to know who was responsible for the invasion."

"There are also rumors that several people maybe 100 from earth disappeared on the day of the invasion. We don't know what happened but we think the kingdom kidnapped them and took them back as you know. Slaves. To us, that is a crime punishable by death without a fair trial or parole. If this is indeed true, then there will be wide spread riots and protests."


"I don't have authority but, you are a part of the joint special forces platoon so I might as well give you some information about your next objectives."


The Major handed Kayla a small chip. "We want the special forces platoon to make their way to the capital. Only scout for any slaves. We have a list of the people that went missing. You can use their pictures to identify them. We have one embassy being built in a city a kilometer away from the capital. It should serve as a safe house for you guys in case things go wrong. Oh and one more thing. The prince. He is not that popular among the senate. He rules by fear and bribery according to some of them. If you see him, report back to General Moores about it."

Ace stopped in his tracks and waited for Kayla's reply. This would tell him who she really proved loyal to. Ace chuckled and slipped his shirt back on, along with his Squadron X vest. "Dead. The one hundred that went missing are probably dead, but fel free."

"Alright. We will tell the 22 billion people that 100 of our people have been kidnapped and killed by the kingdom. What do you think would happen?" The major questioned.


"A few days after we would begin mobilizing the first space navy fleets into your world, establish orbital and space command. The transfer of 2 million soldiers. We would deploy another round of nuclear weapons, M2 Mines, and Tsar bombs. Along with tactical smart missiles, smart sensors, mechanized APU machines, harvesters, sentinels, and many more. Within a few days, we would have a force capable of launching a continental invasion."


"We would have control of air, ground, sea and space. We value our people's lives. And they are important tor us. 100 people dead. That would be enough for the UN to order a nuclear bombing of the capital to completely wipe out the kingdom's government. Or, we could begin supplying insurgents who want to topple the kingdom. And start fueling a rebellion. Who knows."

Ace chuckled. "You think I care? I'm not scared of anything. Go ahead, I dare you to kill my people. I'd love to see who would be the murderers now."

"So you mean to tell me that you are completely fine with us killing the rest of your special team?" The major asked. "Your so called friends? Anlong with their family? You are fine with them dying?"

Ace's expression darkened. "Our families are already dead." Ace chuckled. "And you haven't gotten all of my special team. I'm not talking about me either. They will never die, I wouldn't let you kill them."

"We know where they are. We interrogated the two out of the 20 that we had to kill. The only problem is, we are not allowed to go after them. We have them held in one of the most fortified military prisons in the solar system. With one command, they can be executed." The major said.

Ace chuckled. "Them. You really are clueless, aren't you? You couldn't get him even if you tried. I'm not joking either." He paused to look at the officer. "I'd like to go with Kayla. On this mission of hers."

Kayla decided that it was time to intervene before those 2 started fighting for real:


"Okay okay that's enough gentlemen."she took the chip from the officer.


"I will present this to General Moores as he is my commanding officer, and if he gives the thumbs up for the operation we will act acordingly." she then turns towars Ace .


"And then you will tell him what you just told us about the gate opener. What you just told me might lead to the end of this war with the least ammount of casualties. Now, how about we go back to your world? I will also ask the general to allow me , to temporarily add you to my team. Then we will have no problems. Do you both agree?" the 2 that were behind her wanted to protest to the last part, but Kayla signaled them to shut it. and so they did.

"There is a room in the aircraft carrier UN North America if you want to talk." The major said wondering if Ace knew what an Aircraft Carrier was.

"Very well then." she said, luckily the Hudson River where the carrier was located, was within walking distance. She turned towards Ace while asking:


"Wanna take a walk around the city? it will be short but you'll get to see a little of this city. As he says, we won't be leaving until tomorrow." and without awaiting his response she started slowly walking towards the river. The 2 members of her team were awaiting for Ace to move, they were to be his shadow.

The other thing was, to kill the Emperor we were expecting for one person to die. To kill the Emperor, I would have to die myself. No one is really sure about his limits and I doubt he is weak."
