"Really?" The soldier tapped a screen inside the apc.
He flicked it until he came to a news channel and stopped. "UN authorized massive nuclear, m2 mine, and tsar bombing campaign."
It showed the ruins of Nava. The second largest city in the kingdom. There was a massive crater at the centre and most of the buildings were decimated into rubble.
"Hundreds of thousands estimated to be dead." The soldier looked back at ace with a smile. "Dream on. What will a nation that uses swords, spears, and arrows that can barely feed their own people do against a civilization that has already conquered their solar system and are colonizing other worlds. We are not afraid to use weapons of mass murder against your people."
The soldier left the apc leaving the screen on.

Ace laughed. "They have no idea.." He leaned back casually and flicked his wrists. His fingertips lit up in a black smoke, then disappeared. At least I still have that. I'll save it for the gate.

"I would like to hear more about what the kingdom can do!" said Kayla entering the apc and shutting the monitor . She then sat next to Ellen on a seat in front of him, while Alex sat at his right. Then she continued: "Until now I decided to ignore all your talk about ending the war and Gate Openers, but it seems serious enough that you would risk an escape like that. So Ace... you now got my undivided attention as we still have some time until we reach HQ, tell me what you know about this gates and if you convince me that what you say its true, I'm willing to help you to your journey to kill who you want to kill. As long as you don't to take hostile actions against the UN. This isn't a order from my superiors, just my own interest and curiosity." she showed a grin as she said that, then continued."Oh and if you pull another stunt like that again I will personally behead you. But before that, I will let this lovely lady over here *she tilts her head towards Ellen* handle you first. You can say she is my team's interrogator..so to speak." Ellen who was playing with a knife she picked up from the base earlier looked in his eyes and nodded slightly with a smile while saying. "Nice to meet you Herr Ace!". Alex who stood by felt a little left behind, so he intervened.

"Yes. Nukes are just the first step. We are planning on testing our tsar bombs against the kingdom. We are still a fews years away from creating a weapon capable of all out incineration but we are confident that the kingdom will have no choice but to surrender." The general said.
The image flipped to outer space.
"In other news. The UNS Venus along with the 3rd fleet of the UN space navy have located another planet suitable for life." The news anchor said.

The two soldiers took out their assault rifles as one tepped the barrel at Ace's shoulder. "Move it."
The soldiers had guided the princess and Ace into the building. They began to walk through the corridors of the building as the soldiers opened up the doors to the UN assembly.
Inside, sat ambassadors and leaders of every nation. As the princess and Ace were esscorted, the entire UN assembly went silent. Some of the ambassadors and leaders were staring at the two as they were escorted in.

Ace laughed haughtily. "This is what I call a meeting! You people look weird, with those things around your necks." Ace said as he looked at their ties. He laughed and turned around to the soldiers even though they probably wanted to hurt him right now. Maybe he was going delusional? He laughed and grinned. "Really, you guys look weird." He escorted himself to a chair and sat down.

The soldier kicked Ace off the chair and pulled him up in front of the assembly. "Uncivilized. Wonderful."
"You really should show some respect. Even though we are technically at war." One ambassador said.
"What does he know about respect. His civilization discriminates and are savage." Another replied.
"Their people don't know when to quit."
"What a bunch of animals."
"Child killers. Slave traders. Filthy insects."
The princess looked down at the floor from all the negativity that the UN was spewing about the people of her world.
"Stop. They might have done awful things. But that does not mean we have the right to put them down. We just wipped out one of tbeir cities. We incinerated their people. We've killed more of their people. At least 2 million. That's massacre." The vice president of the UN spoke.
"Thank you. Vice president. As we were discussing, if you turn your attention to the screen, we may watch the test of the tsar bomb." The president said.

Kayla and her team stepped out of the apc, when she saw that Ace was escorted by the HQ soldiers she let out a sigh and they went to the checkpoint to get the proper clearance. After, they went to the Asembly room, she signaled Alex and Ellen to stand back, she was only allowed to enter with a sidearm and her swords for "security" reason. She made her way behind the princess and Ace, wishpering softly so that the ambasadors and the guards couldn't hear.
"I suggest you keep a low profile here Ace. These guys are the political epicenter of the UN even my superiors take their orders from them, you better let the princes deal with them. I've heard you want to talk now , good. Once this meeting is over, I'll hear what you have to say. for now stand straight and smile*chuckle*. Then she turned her head towards the princess who was staring at the floor:

The screen showed the massive stealth bomber being escorted by several stealth fighters. The camera panned below to show another city belonging to the kingdom.
"Three hundredth tactical fighter wing escorting bomber. We are overhead the city of Malinisa."
The camera pointed down at the city showing a bird's eye view.
"This is central command. You have permission to drop the payload."
"Copy."
A few seconds later, a device was dropped from the bomber.
"Payload dropped. All aircraft begin climbing up another 400 feet towards the stratosphere."
The camera began to pan down showing the bomb disappear to the ground below. After a few minutes, when the air crafts have climbed to a safe distance, the camera was looking at the city below when the entire city was blinded by a white light.
The ambassadors all leaned forward waiting to see what happened.
After a minute, the light dimmed as it showed a massive mushroom cloud that rose above to the stratosphere.

"Shit. You seeing this? The rector scale is going insane."
"What's the radiation level?"
"Unknown."
"It caused the ground to shake?"
"begin heading back. We have to get out of here before we get caught in the after shock."
Most of the ambassadors were stunned. "Imagine if we had used five all at once."
"That's suicide. The radiation would reach the UN base."

"Why. You think you can defeat us? How? You are thousands of years away from even creating gun powder. How do you plan on defeating a race that has mastered faster than light travel and weilds the power to decimate entire countries? "

"We have done some scouting. And we know your capabilities. All in this report." The president said holding up a classified folder.
"We are here to discuss prisoners. That can wait. We want to know. What will your senate pay us in reparations for war? Keep in mind your men did some very horrible things to our people. Some of which we will never forgive."
The princess grew nervous.
"You have already killed millions of my people. And we only killed several tbousand of yours."
"50 thousand. 2 thousand were children under the age of 14." The vice president corrected.
"It's just normal people. Why do you value their lives so much?"
"They matter because we are civilized. Unlike your savage laws." One ambassador said.
"We care about our people because they have the power. They are important. They are humans just like us and to judge them based on their class is very unethical." The president said.
"We treat your prisoners with kindness. Because that is morally right."
"Keep in mind princess, we are not ending this war unless the kingdom meets our demands. Including the signing of unconditional surrender. And the disbandment of you and your allies armed forces."
"We are planning on deploying our space navy and mobilde armour units. And they are mich harder to kill. Railguns, orbital platforms, and more. We will deploy every asset we have."
The president turned to Ace. "The real war will never happen. Because of this. You kill us, and your world will suffer more. Your kingdom has already thrown everything it has. Including orcs, and giants, dragins, andother mmythical warriors. All of them were gunned down." The president raised the folder again.
"We also have things that you could never imagine. And we will use them."
