You have room, I'd basically say no massive AoE powerups that nuc multiple players, but more duel-based powerups, maybe some platform discs that can be placed anywhere, or super jump, or speed boosts, things that can change the element of your attacks, or enemy's attacks etc. In the game, it's pvp, but for the actual role play, it's more like us vs the npc enemies.

Let's assume they slaughtered their lounge group at the start and took the other four's pendants. Three lounge guys, four randoms, and one pendant they started with. 8 pendants, two for each, three for some if some only take one.
